Ron Weasley offered the stranger sitting next to him on the train half his sandwich even though it was all he had.
Ron Weasley sacrificed himself for the good of Harry and Hermione at age eleven because even then he thought they were more important than he was, and the ones worth saving.
Ron Weasley was Harry Potter’s first friend and the first thing Harry ever had resembling a family.
Ron Weasley lived in a cramped house and wore hand me down robes and he didn’t even think twice about offering his room and food and family to Harry every break.
Ron Weasley took care of Harry Potter and Hermione Granger when they were too busy taking care of the rest of the world to worry about themselves.
Ron Weasley stood on broken bones when he was thirteen years old, to tell a man infamous for murder that if he planned on killing his best mate, he would have to go through him first.
Ron Weasley was the person Harry would miss most in the world.
Ron Weasley was a pureblood wizard who, from a very young age, devoted his life to abolishing blood status, even if he didn’t quite understand his own privilege.
Ron Weasley gave Dobby his own clothes and socks to be buried in, because he understood how important it would have been to him.
Ron Weasley thought about saving the house elves when everyone else forgot.
If you don’t love Ron Weasley, The Boy Who Cared, I don’t know what books you read but they weren’t the same ones I did.

Its the little things in life...
Its the little things in life…
There are times when I just sit around and think that what is it that matters most in life. Is it college I am trying to get into or the piece of electronic I am religious saving for. Maybe its the dream house that I have pinned on Pinterest or perhaps the dress I would finally fit into some time in the future. But then again they don’t make me happy at the moment, I have held on to them with an…

Ellora Caves (or as the locals call it “Verul Leni”), located in the Aurangabad district of Maharashtra, India, is one of the largest rock-cut monastery-temple cave complexes in the world, and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring Buddhist, Hindu and Jain monuments, and artwork.

The Kailash Mandir was carved out of one single rock, it is considered one of the most remarkable cave temples in India because of its size, architecture and sculptural treatment.
It took us less than an hour to reach the caves from our hotel in central Aurangabad. There are various cab services around Aurangabad from whom one can book a two day trip to Ajanta and Ellora Caves.
I just can’t seem to find words to describe how beautiful this place is and so leave you with a couple of pictures so that you can decide on your own.
My biggest regret about my visit to Ellora was lack of research. I scheduled a whole lot of different things to do on the same day and in the end, ended up visiting only the Kailash temple with no time left to explore the other caves.
I plan to visit Ellora Caves once again, and this time with an entire day just dedicated to it. It is truly beautiful and unique and if one ever got a chance should visit it at least once in the lifetime.

An afternoon at Chittor Fort – I
Nestled among the beautiful expanse of the Chittor Fort (one of the largest forts in India and a UNESCO World Heritage Site) is Meera Temple.
The temple is dedicated to the Rajput princess Meera famously known as Meera Bai who was an ardent devotee of Krishna and a mystic poet, later she went on to become a renowned saint of India.

This ornate temple was built by Rana Kumbha…

Be you, the world will adjust
Be you, the world will adjust
Tumblr media
The world is a beautiful place, full of possibilities and opportunities. It is also the same world where lies an overwhelming sense of owning the best or becoming the best. Living your life to the fullest usually comes with a price which is not just monetary but with also the burden of societal expectations. Many a time we fall in the pitfall of such expectations which wants you to be a certain…

Pink Winter
Winters are perhaps my most favorite of all seasons. I absolutely love them and desperately wait for it to arrive. In Mumbai, however, winter means cold morning then the blazing hot sun in the afternoon and finally cool evenings. I love to joke about how Mumbaikars never truly get to enjoy winters.

One of the few things I love about winters in Mumbai are these flowers which blossom near the…

Hawa Mahal
The beauty of Hawa Mahal
Hawa Mahal is an extraordinarily carved out honeycombed hive out of red and pink sandstone. It is five storey and has 953 jharokhas. It was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in such a way that the ladies can watch festival celebrations and all other activities on the street. The Hawa Mahal is located on the main road near Badi Chaupar and City Palace complex.

a day in the pink city
a day in the pink city
I have always been fascinated with history especially the one where I am bestowed with the magnificent royal architecture. The Jharokha, Chhatri, Bawdis, Jaalis and many more along with the detailed and intricate designs leave me to spell bounded. My quest for the royal architecture led me to the land of the royals – Rajasthan.
The entire Rajasthan cannot be covered in just one post so I am going…

10 self-confidence quotes
Quotes are a very powerful tool if used perfectly. For someone like me who has for a long time battled with confidence issues, I have always found solace in the quotes. My lack of confidence always prevented me from expressing myself to others, so I read quotes to upflit my mood when it is down. To keep me grounded when I achieve something that I did not think was possible by me, to motivate…

Diwali is probably my most favorite festival. It’s not because of the sweets that are prepared and consumed but because it is the festival of lights. Diyas, different colored bright lights and colorful lit rangolis are my most favourite part of this festival.
Last week was all about Diwali and I am already waiting for the next year. So here I am to share with you a few of my favourite Diwali pictures that I managed to click.
“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.” – Albus Dumbledore
“All colors will agree in the dark.” – Francis Bacon
“Life should be a continual celebration, a festival of lights the whole year round. Only then can you grow up, can you blossom.”  – Rajneesh
“We’ve all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That’s who we really are.” – Sirius Black
In case you are wondering, where are the fireworks pictures? Well! me and my family have stopped bursting firecrackers for a long time now, hence the lack of fireworks in pictures.  But nevertheless, our Diwali was as pleasant and fun as we had expected it to be.
I hope you all liked the pictures. See you in my next post. Bye! Have a good day.

kindness, patience, loyalty, and hard work.....?
kindness, patience, loyalty, and hard work…..?
I don’t know about you guys but I have for a long time been a Harry Potter movies fan, I mean not like events attending (not that they had any official events in India), funkos purchasing, theories making etc… which all those pureblood Harry Potter fans do. I am probably the squib fan for I have just watched movies and later read the books. It is not an order I would prefer, but I was 6 when the…

diwali cleaning
Diwali is right around the corner (wait not even corner, its the day after tomorrow) and the entire household has been called at arms to go on a cleaning spree like never before. Armed with soft rags, cleaning spray, sleep deprived faces (because late night surfing on social media is more important than completing your sleep) and reluctance we march to clean the part of the house assigned to us.
