I FINALLY HAD A NEW GOOD IDEA THAT I COULD GET MORE INTO

I really like this Beauty & The Beast AU so I think Im gonna go deeper into it, uh, let me know what you guys think and if you want more of this AU ?

I feel like people give Merlin way too much credit in the level-headedness department sometimes, remember this man fuckin fought the King's son even after said son told him he was the prince. So it stands to reason that Merlin would not be afraid of a giant dragon-man-thing.

Although I think this confidence comes from his magic so-

also the sorceress that turned Arthur into the (kinda)Dragon did it because 1. he be hot-headed and 2. yknow, the whole not liking magic thing

Honestly i feel that, hugging is (very) comforting especially when you achieved something and someone is proud of you they hug you instead of just praising you and giving you pats on the back

A chrysanthemum, symbolizes as joy and optimism.

A Violet, symbolizes as faith affection.

A sunflower, symbolizes as Adoration Loyalty.

And last but not least Zinnia. Respect and honor. " Arthur paused and looked at Merlin.

Smiling he said " Perfect for you. " And put it on Merlin's head

" Uh, thank you sire. " Merlin blushed

" No no. Thank you. At least i get to use the knowledge that my mother inherent to me. I sometime thought that I would never use it,turns out I was wrong. " Arthur smiled looking at Merlin and reached his hand out to brush Merlin's hair out of his eyes

" Luckily. A cute garden boy became my friend and made me a flower crown for me to examine. " Arthur smiled and lean in whispering

I love the CourtSorcerer!Merlin depictions where he’s wearing deep blue regal robes that fit him perfectly with dark trousers and leather boots that aren’t falling apart and his hair is longer and bushy and crowns his head perfectly

and Arthur believes he’s is a god sent to him by some omnipotent power and looks at him like he’s his entire world but still treats him as if he is the lanky manservant that he met all those years ago but the moment they are alone together he worships the ground that Merlin walks on and let’s his emotions fall from his face like a rain because he knows that Merlin, no matter what, can always tell what’s going through his mind

And Arthur gives Merlin a crown of silver that matches his robes perfectly, and the crown is a laurel that circles his hair and doesn’t meet in the front so his hair protrudes out and Arthur wants to play with the strands but he holds himself back and only stares because that’s all he can do without reaching his hand out to do something that the court would definitely shun him for later on

and Arthur watches as Merlin’s eyes glow molten gold and he declares it as his favourite colour and Arthur allows himself to see Merlin as he truly his, the other half of the same coin, half of his soul, his sorcerer. The man that waltz into camelot all those years ago and challenged him with gusto, the one that stood by his side through every challenge, every battle, that saved his life countless times without ever seeking any form of appraisal and Arthur stands in awe as Merlin’s power throttles onwards and Arthur let’s it happen with a smile ghosting his face because his Merlin, despite everything he was taught to believe, would never ever hurt him and now i’m just writing my own fanfiction from everything that i love but i devour it every. single. time.

I can't with this

I read a lot things like “if only Merlin knew how much Arthur panicked and wanted him back every time he could not find Merlin. And the way Gaius never told Merlin how panicky Arthur gets without him”, yes, but also the way Arthur never knew how much Merlin cried for him, every time Arthur was on the verge of death, Merlin had a complete breakdown and Arthur never knew.

And the thing is, Arthur never wanted Merlin to mourn him. Arthur saw Merlin cry during the dragon lord episode, never knowing why Merlin was actually crying, but made sure Merlin didn't cry if Arthur died; "No man deserves your tears” - “Don’t cry for me, Merlin. Even I don’t deserve your tears”. Merlin's tears hurt Arthur, he imagined if Merlin cried so much because of the "unknown person", what would happen when he cried because of Arthur. Arthur was sure he would die if he faced the dragon, but he still makes sure that Merlin doesn't mourn him. And from that episode onwards, Merlin always tried to hide his tears from Arthur. And it is just 💔
