post san fran Daniel always having a weird reaction to anyone who looks like Armand, sometimes it's just someone with long curly black hair. His heart leaps everytime, he's not sure if it's fear or arousal or both but whenever he sees someone even out of the corner of his eye, he always gets distracted and watches them until his heart calms down because it's not him, he has no idea who hes looking for or why he reacts like this and it bugs him to his core.

The first time he meets "Rashid" in Dubai, he has the same reaction but his heart doesn't calm down until he leaves the room.

So since Lestat (in the books) technically wrote the devil's minion chapter about Armand & Daniel.

A headcanon I have (for how they could adapt that in the show) would be that : Lestat was st*lking loumand while they were in the USA in the 70s-80s. And that's why he knows about Armand/Daniel !!!! Louis, in s1, described how Lestat secretly watched the extramarital activities of a vampire/human :"You watched the WHOLE THING like some creeper!" (That could be foreshadowing that he watched Armand/Daniel too). It would make sense that after Louis' attempt in San-Francisco Lestat may have wanted to initially keep tabs on Louis. And Armand secretly observing Louis and Claudia for months in s2 (could also be foreshadowing that Lestat will do something similar to Louis and Armand). Plus, it would be a parallel to how Armand st*lked and observed Lestat and his human lover,Nicki . It’d be karmic.

Imagine Lestat sitting on all of that SENSITIVE INFORMATION and in s3 he's being interviewed by Daniel (who isn't shy with insulting his subjects). What might Lestat say back as a retort ? Imagine he’s just making subtle jabs about d.m. that go over Daniel and the g.a’s heads .

Also I need them to incorporate lestat’s OVER THE TOP descriptions of Armand’s beauty and voice (when referencing their past together). Only for the camera man to pan to Daniel staring directly into the camera like he’s in the office , rolling his eyes, and getting more and more agitated with every new long description XD . *Bonus points* if part of the reason for the descriptions is cause Lestat is trying to annoy Daniel cause he wrote the book and was the “other women” with Armand. *Even more bonus points* if Lestat doesn’t know about the mind wipe (and thinks Daniel is just hiding the affair from Louis) so he keeps on droning on about Daniel’s ex trying to elicit a reaction . Lestat about Armand (in the books): “ I found myself on the edge of tears. His voice gave a lovely resonance as he spoke the way angels must speak, if they existed”. / “I felt such a longing for him, such a longing to fall into him and follow him and be led by him, that all my longings of the past seemed nothing at all. / “Dear God, this is love. This is desire. And all my past amours have been but the shadow of this.” (Side eyes Daniel for a reaction) / “like something imagined, Armand. Armand. A radiant creature in jewels …Cinderella revealed at the ball, this vision, Sleeping Beauty opening her eyes. The sheer pitch of incarnate beauty made me GASP.” (Daniel looking at Lestat like he’s insane cause he just compared Armand to 2 Disney princesses 🤣)
