Commissions...!!

Hey everyone!

Sorry for the radio silence. Things have been crazy all around. This post will be about my opening commissions, so feel free to ignore if you’re not interested.

I know you all don’t follow this blog for the admin, but I’d just like to notify you all that I’m opening commissions for a very cheap price on Fiverr. I’ll draw any fanart or original characters that you commission me to do, in an anime style. I’m also accepting custom/special orders on a discount and I’d love to open more types of commissions if you don’t see any that you’re interested in, so feel free to message me here or there. If you’ve seen my fanart on this blog or on my personal fanart blog and like it, I’d appreciate it if you could check out my links, and maybe even tell your friends! What even???

I left this blog for more than a year due to business and other circumstances, and somehow, before I knew it, 1000 more followers had joined since the last follower milestone. Again, to thank you all, I drew a Karamatsu. Thank you so much for your continued support even with the lack of recent posts!

Two things:

1. My last post since I left on a hiatus still applies. If I am to continue to post Osomatsu-san translations, I need others to help me ask Pixiv artists for permission to post their art. Please read this post fully before doing so.

A note to Matsuno Shrine followers: Matsuno Shrine is not dead! There are 2 main reasons why it has been a week shy of a month since the last comic translation, and here they are: 1. I'm busy rn 2. I'm having trouble finding permissions to translate and repost pixiv comics

If anyone has any requests for translating pixiv comics, I can consider them, and it will contribute a lot to shorten the time it takes me to put out a translated comic. Finding and asking artists takes the longest amount of time, especially since artists are people with their own lives to live and don't always reply to messages! When asking 10 artists for permission, often there are only 2 replies back, and these are also often requests not to repost their artwork, which we must all make sure to respect. Criteria for comics that I would consider translating and reposting to the blog would be: - no nsfw - no heavy shipping - I try to cater to as many Osomatsu-san fans as possible. I myself do not ship them seriously but I do find bromance kawaii af.  - I'm also picky about art style! Sorry! If the style of the artist you send me is not to my liking, unfortunately, you will either have to ask another translator or you may also ask me to collaborate to translate with/for you in posting it to your own blog.

If you are unsure about criteria, you may just send the link to me and that will decide whether I decide to ask for permissions or not!

Even asking the artist if I can have permission to translate and repost the image to matsunoshrine.tumblr.com would help incredibly with how often I can put out comics.

Huh? Huuuh?? How exactly did this happen???

We hit 1000+ followers last night! I just wanted to say a huge thank you to all supporters and followers of this blog, so I drew a Tenshimatsu for you all. I never thought that any of my blogs on tumblr would become this popular, especially in such a short time, so this is a dream for me! Although it may not be a big number to some people, I am really happy about the blog getting this much support from Osomatsu-san fans. Everyone really loves the Matsuno sextuplets after all! Jyushimatsu and Todomatsu at the bathhouse~ Original pixiv comics by this artist, and cleaning, typesetting, and translating done by me in my free time. (Please be careful as there is 1 nsfw picture lower in the artist’s link.) Because of this artist, I began to think that Jyushimatsu’s and Todomatsu’s relationship dynamics are really cute! *T/N: I believe Todomatsu is talking about the phrase "Do you have an itchy spot anywhere?" Barbers and hair stylists in Japan will often ask this question when they shampoo your hair. I don't know why Jyushimatsu is blushing, maybe just cuz Todo is really cute (!?).

1. Choromatsu and Jyushimatsu at the supermarket

*T/N: This comic was a little harder to translate, as the joke doesn't carry over as well in English. The whole point of this gag is a Japanese pun; what Jyushimatsu is saying could translate as "inari", or a type of marinated tofu that is used in inari sushi, but it could also translate as "soft-nari". The "~nari" ending is a joke because the character that Choromatsu thinks about at the beginning, Korosuke from Kiteretsu Daihyakka, ends his sentences with "~nari", so Choromatsu thinks Jyushimatsu is doing an impersonation of him - hence the misunderstanding.

Although Choromatsu regretted it after, I wanted to punch him after I saw Jyushimatsu's face when he got yelled at;;; pure little Tenshimatsu doesn’t deserve that!!

2. Todomatsu and Jyushimatsu with chapstick

Although Todomatsu and Jyushimatsu don't seem to hang out too often in the anime, I like to think they have a good relationship. Todomatsu can take care of his niisan once in a while~ (not sure if intentional indirect kiss or just cute sharing-is-caring. please interpret this the way you like.)

Jyushimatsu becomes the “Human Body Weight Scale” in this pixiv comic by this artist! Cleaning, typesetting, and translating done by me in my free time. By the way, “150″ is probably in kilograms since Japan uses the metric system more, so 150 would be nowhere close to Ichimatsu’s real weight (150 kg ≈ 330 lbs).

Sometimes, I find his manipulative and clever mind a little unnerving... but I guess he’s still cute and trendy and charming (?). I may translate the Iyami version of Six Same Faces if I can’t find an English version of it. For now, please enjoy!

Osomatsu-niisan sure knows how to manipulate his younger brother...? Or maybe Choromatsu is the only one patient enough to stick around him. They make a good boke/tsukkomi pair.
