After the work in TLV we went to play ... Dead Sea to Sinai on the Red Sea where I’ve seen more and more kinds of colorful fish than any other water I’ve been in! Drove through the desert to hike up a mountain near the amazing Santa Catarina monastery .... while drunk on the incredible desert colors. It was so fun to host students of @purchaseartdesign for a really substantial studio-visit with @nandita.raman last week and share about my process, successes and failures! Sometime times just stops ... when we were standing outside during a cold winter night @macdowellcolony and talked for a long time (with Koji) although it’s kind of too cold but we were just not finished yet talking ... all the while snow falling on our winter coats and getting caught in our eye lashes ... one of the many moments I cherished with Haruko. When I go quiet it’s because I’ve been in my studio retouching work for three upcoming shows @pridephotoaward @offbratislava and @photois.rael - also been laughing and crying as I’ve had time to read many interviews that have finally been transcribed and translated in the past months.
