I did it…
…I went to the gym today.
What I worked out?
My whole body – because that's what I enjoy the most!
Right after my workout on the way home, proud as I was, I first took a "after workout" picture (left picture).
I'm sure I'll be able to get back into my old shape in a few months (right picture).
I am excited how it will continue!
P.S. Did you do any sports today? And if so, what did you do? Let me know and share your joy with me!

This is how much water you should drink a day:
Seriously, I could make a huge science out of this.
But I'll keep it short.
I recommend drinking 1 liter of water per 20 kilos of body weight.
Here's a quick example: I currently weigh around 80 kilos. So I drink around 4 liters of water.
On training days, however, I usually drink a little more.
Yes, I know, 4 liters is not little.
But don't forget, we humans consist of 65-70% water.
You will be surprised how good it really feels when you drink enough for a longer period of time.
Go for it, you'll love the feeling!
P.S. In case you are interested, babies consist of up to 80% water. 👶🏻

MY STORY (Part 2) – From fat to fit again!
That's how my body currently looks.
Crazy how fast it can go and suddenly you weigh 15 to 20 kilos more.
If you have read Part 1, then you know, I didn't always look like this!
What I can tell you though is that I won't look like this for much longer either!
I've had enough of living my life below my full potential.
I've had enough of looking in the mirror and knowing that I'm capable of so much more.
Yesterday I made the decision to finally make a change and I immediately opened this Tumblr account to share my journey with you.
Hoping to motivate you to live a healthier lifestyle.
But let me tell you this: Being motivated is great. But motivation fades. What it really takes to be successful in the long run is discipline!
My plan is to rebuild healthy habits step by step that will help me live a healthy lifestyle.
I'm excited to see where it goes from here.
Be part of my journey!

MY STORY (Part 1) – From fit to fat…
I know, not the usual headline of a success story.
Because it’s not a success story!
I want to be completely honest with you.
I was in a very good shape. I was happy with my body.  No, I was even absolutely proud of my body, because it showed the hard work I had to do to get it.
But achieving your dream body is not hard.
What is hard is to maintain your dream body.
But why haven't I managed to maintain my dream body? Why did I get fat?
The answer is simple, but it took me a long time to find it: My goal was a snapshot - a good looking body.  That’s bullsh*t!
It is much more about living a healthy lifestyle and thus automatically achieving your dream body.
So your goal should be the process and not a snapshot! The process of living a healthy lifestyle.
Because if you live a healthy lifestyle, you also build the appropriate habits that keep you on track!
So you could say that a healthy lifestyle works like a navigation system that guides you.
And what I am currently doing is building me this navigation system again.
Be part of my journey!
P.S. If you want to see a picture of my body now (I've gained a lot), look forward to Part 2.
