Ali Abbas Zafar Upcoming Bollywood Movie Bharat
After delivering two back to back hit ‘Sultan’ and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’, Salman Khan and Ali Abbas Zafar are all set to come together for the third time for the Upcoming Movie Bharat. As the actor-director duo gear up for their hat-trick venture, we give you a rundown of interesting facts about Bharat .....
Plot
Bharat tells the tale of the chronicle the life of a man over a period of 60 years which is Salman’s career first. The movie highlights the suffering of people during the India-Pakistan partition. It is reportedly about a man who lives through several significant moments from India’s past to present.
Keeping in mind the minute details which have been researched over the last three months, the Partition sequences will be shot in Punjab. Also, original steam engines will reportedly be used for this shoot along with art, costumes, and nuances, which will give the feel of that era.
Big budget
Bharat’ is being produced by his brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and directed by Salman’s current favorite Ali Abbas Zafar. Reportedly, this movie is Salman’s most expensive and most ambitious home production.
The original choice Kabir Khan is no longer a part of the project. This movie promises Salman’s image-changing career-defining role and reportedly around Rs 200 crore give or take another 10 crores.
Inspired from ‘Ode To My father
The plot premise of ‘Bharat’ is reportedly based on the successful Korean film ‘Ode To My Father’. In the original film, the Korean actor Hwang Jung-min goes through the various phases in Korean history.
Now, for ‘Bharat’, the entire Korean film is apparently being re-written in the context of Indian history. Salman’s character will be seen going through various phases in the history of India, from the partition of the country to present day.

Salman Khan will be playing a character that goes through various phases in history, living several significant moments from India’s past to present. In what will be the ‘Dabangg’ star’s biggest challenge of his career, the actor will be seen using prosthetics for the first time.
According to reports, his character starts at the age of 18-19 and then goes through the different chapters of our history piece by piece. Every episode will require a different look. Salman, who hates prosthetics, has agreed to it just this once for the film.
Salman will reportedly sport four-five looks in the film through 60 years, and one crucial part will focus on his late 20s, in which the 52-year-old actor will look leaner and much younger.

The filmmaker also reportedly added that exaggerated machismo becomes `redundant` and highlighting Salman Khan`s other side is essential for his character in Bharat.

Salman khan Bharat will show be seen going through various phases in the history of India. The film will reportedly be shot in India as well as in various other locations in Europe.
Ali has taken off to Europe on a recce. The makers are already in the Queen’s City doing their preliminary research. Reportedly, Director Ali Abbas Zafar will start his prep for the actor’s next in London and move to Spain, Poland, Portugal, and Malta.

First Day Collection Of Anushka Sharma Pari
The teaser or 'screamers' of Anushka Sharma's Production Pari, which additionally includes her in the number one spot part, let us terrified well enough alone for our minds. Pari box office collection is expected to kick-start from Saturday, Holi being a major Holiday. Though the makers did not indulge in huge marketing and promotions, the innovative method of releasing screamers worked well in the film’s favor. There has been a section of critics who gave mixed reviews to the film on account of its script. However, everyone is all praises for Anushka who took a big risk, both as an actor and a producer, with this film.

Sridevi: A Super Star with Multiple Onscreen Shades!
A great comic timing, eyes that spilled venom, power-packed dance which rattled the floor and expressions that changed with the motion of the camera – Female superstar sridevi was all this and so much more. For people who have seen the shy and reticent wife and mother offscreen, her swift change in front of the camera came as a surprise. This is evident from the fact that Sridevi shot for her films even while battling personal loss. Her versatility was so unparalleled that even Vidya Balan failed to recreate the “Hawa Hawai” magic. And now, it is hard to believe it can never happen!
Breaking the stereotypes:
It was hard for actresses back in the 80s and 90s to make a mark and have the kind of roles which would make audiences run to the theatres. Scripts were written around A-grade male actors and female actors were mere sidekicks. Sridevi changed all of that. Earlier in her career, she had problems with learning Hindi since she was from the South, yet she quickly got over that limitation and went on to become the first female superstar of India. It was her varied roles – as a Charlie Chaplin lookalike, as a quirky woman in ChaalBaaz who dances in huge overalls and raincoats or as a seductress in a small role in Jaanbaaz or as an under-appreciated housewife who decides to learn English to gain respect for her family. The camera changed Sridevi into a completely different person.
Seductive Sridevi:
The film Nagina had nothing much to offer. But the snake charmer’s tune which has been repeatedly recreated was a hit because of Sridevi. She coupled the ferociousness of her eyes with her sultry, seductive moves in the film. Her rage conveyed through her dance moves had people rooting for her all the time. Choreographer Saroj Khan said that she did everything for the camera; she didn’t do all the funny moves or give such expressions and laugh herself, she did it to make others laugh. Her performance in ChaalBaaz was a testimony to the same. No one could have that kind of goofiness as she says, “Main?Main Kaun? Charlie!” accompanied with a little laugh.
Romance:
Her fans loved her in chiffon sarees way before 90s actresses began doing the same. Her song from Jaanbaaz “Har kisi ko nahin milta” saw her in simple yet seductive moves in a red saree opposite Feroz Khan. She followed it up later with another romantic number “Tere Mere Hothon pe”. But it was “Kate nahin” from Mr India which catapulted her to the tag of sensuousness, unmatched till date.
Her expressions, dance numbers, moves and life enchanted people. The only actress who could make a successful comeback after 15 years hiatus, Sridevi will not be seen onscreen anymore when we were being treated to her second innings.....

Movie Career of Sridevi
This Iconic actress Sridevi worked in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada films before entering Hindi films. She started her movie venture back in the 1960s. Her acting in Malayalam film Poombatta (1971) got her the state award for best child artist.
Sridevi started her Bollywood venture as a child artist in Julie (1975) and she played a pivotal role in that movie. Aiyaary Box Office Collection: Day 2 expected to earn 10 crore

Aiyaary starring Manoj Bajpayee and Sidharth Malhotra in lead roles earned Rs.33.36 million on the first day. The movie didn`t witness a booming start and has failed to impress the audience with an ordinary first-day occupancy.
The movie, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Manoj Bajpayee had created much buzz on the internet with a gripping trailer and a decent music score. However, the movie debuted rather slow at Box Office. The Aiyaary box office collection is expected to make a total of Rs 10 crore on the second day of business, only if it gets lucky. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote on Twitter regarding the movie’s first-day earnings, saying, “#Aiyaary has a DULL Day 1… Opening day biz is lower than Sidharth Malhotra’s last two films: #AGentleman [ 4.04 cr] and #Ittefaq [ 4.05 cr]… Evening/night shows were slightly better… Sat and Sun biz is extremely crucial… Fri 3.36 cr. India biz.”
As far as Bollywood movie Aiyaary is about the business of the coming days, Taran wrote: “The Saturday and Sunday film business will keep me very much.” The movie also stars Rakul Preet, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in major roles. Apart from facing a ban in Pakistan ( for some reason), Aiyaary also has had a tough time finalizing a release date.
The film has not received much applaud. Film reviewer Alaka Sahani wrote about the action flick, “A veteran in Pandey’s movies, Manoj Bajpayee carries the film on his shoulders. But, one expects more from this collaboration, especially since Manoj is a versatile actor. As a former army man turned arms dealer, Adil Hussain brings his usual finesse to the screen. What is particularly disappointing are the sketchy women characters. Even though Pandey has written and produced Naam Shabana, which revolves around a woman spy, he fails to create any remarkable woman characters.”
The movie is cat and mouse chase between a protege Colonel Abhay (Manoj Bajpayee) and his pupil Major Jai (Sidharth Malhotra).

The movie had a serious message and talked about an evil menace in the education system. Yet, it’s in the funny bits that we enjoyed it the most. He danced with his heart, enjoyed himself, and remained completely oblivious to what the South Delhi elites thought about him.
5.Qarib Qarib Single –
His quirky side was depicted in the funniest way possible in this movie with a refreshing take on love and relationships via a journey to Rishikesh. Irfan donned the role of a brash guy who dressed loud and had nothing in common with the girl he met on the dating app. Yet, his acting prowess gave us some hearty moments in the film. A must watch for the fans!

Rekha, an Enigma: The Secret behind her Mystery
Bhanurekha Ganesan, or Rekha as she is known, has been an enigma of sorts. Probably, the most mysterious celebrity and human being, Rekha, even today, manages to keep her mystery intact. At a time when every celebrity is on social media, she is an exception, even among her peers.
Rekha has been involved in controversies. Her personal life has been a subject of curiosity. She has been evasive in giving interviews too. Yet here Secret of Rekha works in films and is paid well for it. She has worked with almost every actor of her generation and continues to look for better opportunities with the younger lot. Her screen presence is strong enough even today and appreciates work of other people. Her recent favourite is Deepika Padukone who won her over with her performance in Padmaavat. But, she calls herself a loner and doesn’t like to network. Her assets are her mother’s who brought her up after her father abandoned them.
Despite all of it, she is still living life to the fullest. She doesn’t call herself a survivor. And how did that happen? Well, that will remain a mystery too.

Akshay Kumar to train in traditional artillery and sword fighting for upcoming movie Kesari!
A huge set is currently being set up in the beautiful Wai in Satara where large forts of Saragarhi and Gulistan are being recreated! Well! This news has elated us for Akshay Kumar movie Keshari. The set which is being designed is for war sequences which will feature Akshay Kumar in most of it. The fight sequences will have the traditional artillery as primary weapons. Here`s another piece of news! Akshay Kumar will be learning traditional artillery, sword fighting, and Gatka.
Akshay Kumar will be soon seen playing Havildar Ishar Singh in `upcoming movie Kesari`, the leader of the 1897 Battle of Saragarhi, is gearing up for some high-octane stunts in the film. According to reports, the actor will be learning traditional artillery, sword fighting and Gatka (an Indian martial art form associated with the Sikhs of the Punjab region) for the same.
Considering it, being the oldest form of self-defense that Sikhs resorted to, the makers have reportedly decided to showcase it in the film. Akshay has allegedly allowed fifteen days for training. As per reports, although the hand-to-hand combat scenes are few, the team is contemplating roping in pehelwans from the akharas of Punjab to lend authenticity. The fifteen days learning process will involve the use of wooden sticks and sword fighting. The makers are even planning to employ Indian weapons like `gandasas` and `bhujs`.
Produced by Karan Johar and directed by Anurag Singh, `Kesari` will feature Akshay in the role of Havildar Ishar Singh who led the Sikh army against the Afghans in this 1897 battle. The Battle of Saragarhi was fought between Sikh soldiers of the British Indian Army and Pashtun Orakzai tribesmen. It occurred in the North-West Frontier Province. Parineeti Chopra will be seen romancing against Akshay Kumar in this movie.
Currently, the superstar is busy promoting ‘PadMan’ that also stars Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte which is set to release on February 9.

Mohenjo Daro V/s Rustom
Year 2016 also saw a big box office clash in the Independence Day weekend with Hrithik Roshan Mohenjo Daro and Akshay Kumar Rustom.
