Basically, after the kinito plushie became popular, there were thoughts of customization or rare plushie people could buy for a limited time only, a whole line of fruit coded axolotls plushies that smelled like the fruit they were based on!

Sadly the project never got approved, and the kinitopet tomogatchis had nothing of it, that is until, the kinitopet virtual assistant. Along with the Friendship Club perks it gave when u bought it, it also gave you the ability to customize your kinito, in which, the drafted strawberry design for the plushies made its appearance!

(Though maybe not like it was expected, as there was a glitch where two kinitos appeared when you tried to change kinitos model, so it just created another one, that had,,, different dialogue? and maybe more annoying? Just giving you fun facts and the hour of the day? Have you been scammed???)

This is the 4Anime AU (essentially just an au where Kinito, Sam and Jade are made in modern times.

Facts I didn’t put down (these facts are more au than focused on Kinito.)

-Sam has a gaming addiction, his favourite games specifically are Super Mario Bros and Splatoon.

-Jade is the only normal one without an addiction, she doesn’t mind it though.

-All 3 of them get along, despite Sam and Kinito’s addictions.

-All 3 of them are asexual. Sam is biromantic, Jade is lesbian and Kinito is panromantic.
