He was sick of it, all this waiting, and that was surely what he was doing. Waiting until he finally worked up the nerve to just do it. It wasn’t like he had any other plans for what to do in Paris, and it was as nice of a place to go as any. Not that he’d actually seen much of the sights since he arrived, but he’d been here before, so it wasn’t like he was missing anything particularly new.

Still, he felt like he’d hit a standstill. No matter how hard he tried to drink himself into a stupor, to give himself the liquid courage that killing himself would require, he still failed night after night. It was yet another reminder of his own selfishness, that he valued his own life enough to risk endangering the lives of others by continuing his poisonous existence. It was only further proof that he was a bloody coward, like he didn’t know that already.

Weve seen him in the face of death but only after facing his abuser and being "betrayed" by randy a benson who is defeated

So what if he is faces with it before randy snapping and killing would he simply stay there holding the mop watching as randy plunges the knife into chris over and over jess screaming and begging benson to stop randy hardy comes out and randy has no choice but to chase youd think benson would leave grab hia cigs but i think hed stay watching from thw shadow of his hat hes been here before and you never let the predator leave your line of sight so once randys done with hardy and hws standing there shaking and heaving jess wont stop screaming and crying and so randy just slits her throat

and so between them is a gurgling dying jess and you have randy and benson just staring maybe randys the one crying barely able to tell with the blood caking him with fire in his eyes fingers clutching the handle of the knife bensons on the handle of the mop

they both know he can easily fight back and win but hes not and randys confused benson confuses him but theres a kinship and so he looks away finally wipes his face and looks over the massacre hes left and benson just cracks his neck
