orz i KNOw it's day 7 and i haven't posted day 5 yet don't look at me (<- creature that is full of shame /j)

for the past prompt, i wanted to draw one of my comic characters as a child!! i had some old sketches for both aylin and caelius, but i liked aylin's pose better and i'm already behind, so i just chose to clean up hers instead of both :'3

btw hi i have a comic please check it out i'm super normal about it (it's on a little hiatus atm while i build a buffer and prioritize school, but rest assured it will be back! i've already sunk 7 years of my life into it, it will Not be going away anytime soon lmao)

howdy reforged readers!! i'm working on building up my buffer, and i have some scenes coming up in which i'll need to fill the background with some characters, so i'm putting out a cameo call :]

to submit your characters simply reply or reblog with a ref of your character! feel free to include as much info as you feel is necessary (pronouns, design notes, brief personality snippet, etc) but please try to keep it brief <3

at the moment I am mostly looking for yiga and hylian characters, but i will gladly accept any! LoZ and non LoZ characters are welcome, HOWEVER i will be changing any non LoZ ocs to better suit the world. i may also take creative liberties or simplify characters if need be

please note that it is not GUARANTEED your character will make an appearance in the comic. i'll be picking those i know i'll enjoy drawing most or who will best fit within the scenes required

Updated refs for Aylin and Caelius!!

Aylin got a few design tweaks, and both of them got fresh new backgrounds and an updated font that'll match the dialogue bubbles for pages once I get around to posting those again.

As with the last time I posted their refs, Aylin and Caelius are up on Artfight this year!! :] if you wanna draw either of them or just poke around, you can find me there @ brewbug!

this was intended to be posted last month on the 20th to commemorate the passing of the first year since i posted the very first page of Reforged online, but i didn't quite finish them in time and never got around to finishing the post 😔... BUT HERE IT IS NOW!

At the start, I never planned to share Reforged with anyone. It was intended to simply be a creative outlet designed to help me work through some stuff I was going through at the time. But as I poured more of my heart onto the page, I began to share the story with those closest to me. It's still kinda crazy to me that I've actually decided to post the story online? I still have a long way to go, but rest assured this is something I will see to the end in one way or another no matter what. :]

Updates should hopefully begin again soon! I'm going to work on building a buffer before I start releasing pages again, but at the moment I have four scroll format pages ready to go!! After that, I'd like to switch to page format instead, which will (hopefully) mean I can start posting updates directly here on tumblr!! :D

@doedreamiing and I are putting the final touches onto our Discord server, Crowberry Comic Connection, and have some exciting news! We will be making it public on September 30th, and we had some time to put together at least something for the opening:

hey everybody!

first off, i’d like to say sorry for the radio silence, and let you all know that, unfortunately, i won’t be updating for a while still. without getting too far into the details, my cat has had some unexpected severe health issues come up these past couple weeks, and the whole thing has been very hard on me and my ability to work on my creative projects.

i’ll be doing my best to keep up with my work on Reforged and continue to build a buffer as best i can, but the majority of my free time will be spent with my cat for whatever amount of time he has left.
