something about anything... [email protected] ✈🚅 🚋🚕⛵🚃 "Travel is never a matter of money, but of courage. After weeks on the road, listening to a language you don't understand, using a currency whose value you don't comprehend, walking down the streets you've never walked down before, you discover that your old "I", along with everything you ever learned, is absolutely no use at all in the face of those new challenges, and you begin to realize that, buried deep in your unconscious mind, there is someone much more interesting and adventurous and more open to the world and to new experience." -Aleph, Paolo Coelho 🗽🗻🚸🚴🗼🗿 "The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." -St. Augustine ☺🙋🙏💖😇 been to 24 countries (excluding my own) and 74 cities/town/provincies, mostly alone.. I can't believe I made it! hoping to explore more cities and country side. 💚 Thank you all for sticking with me, for the likes and reblogged..

When in Gigantes...
When in Gigantes…
“I do not know what I may appear to the world, but to myself I seem to have been only like a boy/girl playing on the seashore, and diverting myself in now and then finding a smoother pebble or a prettier shell than ordinary, whilst the great ocean of truth lay all undiscovered before me.” -IN

Remnants of the past…
old so that each shiny steel bean, each tower of brick carries within it the memories of what has gone before, an architectural haunting. Sometimes you can catch a glimpse of these former incarnations in the awkward angle of a street or filigreed gate, an old oak door peeking out from a new facade, the plaque commemorating the spot that was once a battleground, which became a saloon and is now a park. -Libba Bray, Lair of Dreams (The Diviners, #2)

Abra your way to gold souk.  😁
I decided to bring my parents to Dubai Gold Souk early this evening and the easiest and hassle free way during rush hour is by taking the abra (boat).  It only cost me 3 AED (0.817 US$), and that was for the three of us.  My parents were amazed at how cheap, comfortable, and short the ride was.  They were overwhelmed too to see the gold on display in every shop at the old souk. 😁 😁

Leipzig to Dresden, 2014 “Books permit us to voyage through time, to tap the wisdom of our ancestors. The library connects us with the insight and knowledge, painfully extracted from Nature, of the greatest minds that ever were, with the best teachers, drawn from the entire planet and from all our history, to instruct us without tiring, and to inspire us to make our own contribution to the collective knowledge of the human species.” ― Carl Sagan, Cosmos

Potsdam, 2014
I wandered off in Potsdam beyond the map that I was holding, I love Potsdam!  I circled around the Hielinger See and accidentally stumble across the nudist beach. 😊 I even broke my sandals while following the trail in a forest. I found myself in a small town of Wannsee after few hours, it was actually almost sunset when I arrived at the train station (Berlin Wannsee). 😂 Just found out that I…

Helsingborg, Sweden
A gloomy day in a quiet and lovely town of Sweden. -aeL ❤ “Helsingborg is one of the oldest cities of what is now Sweden. It has been the site of permanent settlement officially since 21 May 1085.   Helsingborg’s geographical position at the narrowest part of Øresund made it very important for Denmark, at that time controlling both sides of that strait.” -wikipedia…
