Here’s the lowdown on what’s coming:

—2 completed works on the Kindle Vella platform (whenever the app decides to release to the public)— one anthology of very short thrillers, and one comedic short story. I’ll keep you posted on the release.

—One cyberpunk adventure novel, due to be finished this year and out in 2022

—A sequel to Battle of Troy, in development on an unknown timeline, but I’m very excited about my ideas for this project!

In case you haven’t heard yet, there’s a new novel in the works. I attempted NaNo 2020, and I finiahed with an approx. 43k word unfinished draft that comprises something like 65% of the book.

I’m still working on the manuscript, and I hope to finish earlyish in 2021 so there’s plenty of time to edit and publish before the year is up.

I’m not ready to share many details yet, but I do keep a detailed moodboard/scrapbook full of notes and drawings and images downloaded from Pinterest. I hope posting a few pages here will help share some of the excitement I have in setting up the ‘verse and characters.

(Part 1) I can´t leave a review on Amazon because of its 50€-policy, but I really want everyone to read this book. Here is what I think: “Battle of Troy” is a beautifully realistic and skillfully written novel that stays with you long after you finish reading it. The author doesn´t shy away from heavy topics such as addiction or self-harm, politics or racism, handling them with the care and respect they deserve, but never loses the perspective of the young man who narrates the story.

I work in the publishing industry, I read your book on the unlimited kindle option on amazon. I'd like to applaud your tenacity and concept, it's clear you've put thought into it. However, in my professional opinion, it reads like a second or third draft. There are frequent grammatical errors, poor sentence structure, split infinitives, and other issues which make it read like an unfinished piece of work. Again, your concept is good, but I would recommend redrafting a few more times. Good luck!

I’m biased as the author, but I respectfully disagree with many of your points. I did write the book quickly, but I edited it several times (as did my academically published beta reader) before going to publication. I believe many of the grammatical errors you are seeing are intentional reflections of a youthful first-person dialect.

I wanted to be involved in every aspect of this process and be the one to make executive decisions about content. I didn’t want to have a publishing house push for content changes to better appral to a target audience.

I’m confident the book is strong. It’s exactly what I wanted it to be. It’s ok with me if it’s not your cup of tea or what your company usually puts out.

Apparently Amazon doesn't allow reviews unless you've spent $50 there in the last few months, so I can't leave a real review. :( But this was such a good read. I love a coming of age story and extreme bonus points for realistic LGBT characters. Best of luck in getting your name out there, but looking solely at the quality and ideas, I'm impressed!
