I'm in a bit of a creative rut right now, plus some personal family things going on. But I'm hoping once all that gets resolved, I'll be able to start working on things again.

#WIP #the comic isn't very background heavy #only for important storytelling shots #trying to go with a very simple and stylized look with contrasts #and so the characters end up standing out more with my black and white colour scheme

'Echoes of Prometheus' Announcement

FINALLY! No going back.

I'm working on a ROTTMNT comic, taking place about 6 months after the movie. Subbing in as a potential season 3, the story will focus mostly on a Mikey and Donnie arc, the lingering aftermath of the Krang attack, very illegal science experiments, and plenty of found family tropes. We got a new April design, original characters, plus a few that might look a bit familiar...

-This is a HUGE project that will be released slowly in chunks. My goal is to have at least one issue out every 2 months, but I'm also doing this for fun and on my free time, so updates may vary.

-While I am treating this as if it were a season 3, I plan to bring in some darker elements that were introduced in the movie, as well as a mix of the tone from the 2012 series. But I plan to keep everything at a PG-13 level MAX.

-The scripts and story are already written and laid out. I just gotta, you know, DRAW it. I've always wanted to try my hand at a bigger art project, and people seem to have liked my silly little drawings so far. I got nothing to loose except my sanity!

I hope you'll stick around to see this project through. It'll be a lot of work, but so far, I think just seeing how many people like my stuff is enough to give me some motivation!

My problem is that I have the story ready but I have created multiple ways it could reach the ending and I have to pick one and work with it and I don't feel confident announcing anything until I have the full timeline and scripts laid out in front of me and I can't even show 90% of my wips cause I want SOME surprise to be in there. x_x

I can tell you though that Sunita and April are girlfriends but I'm pretty sure that's obvious to everyone.

I can't quite express it but whatever u draw is like. So squishy. And shaped.

Alright so one thing you're gonna notice about me is that I am not good with expressing gratitude or emotions in general especially when in writing but I want you to know I almost threw up from joy when I got this and that's how it's gonna be for any compliments I get in the future. Thank you.

Alright I caved. I made a rottmnt oc, and decided to make a separate blog so I have the luxury of going incognito.

The anthro designs in that show are peek quality, and I wanted to have a stab at it. Plus, it’s good practice for my overall character designing. Say hello to this absolutely wet beast! If enough people are interested, I MIGHT do something with her and the cast in the future.
