I am Mahmoud's wife. Unfortunately, I wanted to inform you that my husband Mahmoud was injured in the head, which caused a skull fracture that descended onto the nerves of the brain and affected the nerves of speech, hearing, and sight.

Mahmoud's condition is very critical and he must go abroad for treatment. He was injured 3 days ago and underwent surgery to clean his head. The doctors are telling us that he needs to undergo a major operation to remove the shrapnel or fix it to the skull bone so that no nerves in the brain are cut off.

From the Ashes of War: A Father’s Cry for His Children’s Future ❤️‍🩹

Imagine watching your children’s future slip away before your eyes, while their present is caught between death and injury. 💔

In a world full of painful stories, our story in Gaza is one that bleeds and cannot be ignored. I had previously started sharing our pain and hopes through my Tumblr account, where I found in you a support that eased the harshness of the days. But now, that account has been closed for reasons I cannot understand, deepening my sense of isolation in this dark world. 😞

I am Ahmed, an ordinary man whose responsibilities have become heavier than any human heart can bear. A father of five young children who look to me every day with eyes filled with fear and hope, and a husband to a woman who has proven to be a source of patience and strength in every moment. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

This war has destroyed everything. We lost our home, our dreams, and even the simplest rights to live in peace. I once dreamed of seeing my children grow up in a safe environment, but that dream shatters day by day. 💔

The war no longer affects just our present. Our memories have been erased, every beautiful moment destroyed, and our past scattered among the ruins of homes and shattered recollections. 😢 Our present is drowning in blood and destruction, a never-ending war that follows us every second and in every place. And the future? It’s unknown, terrifying, and we have no idea what it holds for us. 😔

Every day we live here is a battle for survival. We face terror, hunger, and fear of a future we cannot predict. We hoped to find refuge, a place where we could feel safe, but even that has become unattainable. 🏚️

I have returned now with a new account and a new plea to everyone reading my words. I have no other place to turn but to your words and support. 🙏 Every share of my campaign, every financial contribution, means that I am one step closer to saving my family from this hell. I don’t ask for much. I was absolutely appalled this morning when I received an unsolicited call from Tamara Alrifai @TamaraAlrifai, someone I had never spoken to before, who claimed to represent @unrwa. To my utter disbelief, Tamara took it upon herself to lecture me about the picture I shared yesterday—a picture that exposes the complicity of international humanitarian organizations, with the glaring exception of UNRWA, in their so-called Coordination Council with the Israeli and American armies.

It is beyond comprehension that Tamara, who knows nothing about my extensive background and deep understanding of international organizations, would have the audacity to attempt to intimidate me. She had the nerve to suggest that by sharing the photo, I was somehow endangering the safety of UN employees. She conveniently ignored the fact that it was the Israelis who originally published the photo—using these very international organizations as a facade to continue their heinous policies of starving the Palestinian people, all while trying to polish their image as “humane.”

Tamara then had the temerity to try and “educate” me, claiming that international agencies, including the Red Cross, are “forced” to deal with all military parties. Yet, she completely dodged my question about whether such a meeting or coordination council could ever be seen with the factions in Gaza or the government there.

And the most infuriating part? The meetings are held under the banner of a “coordination board.” What on earth does that imply? That the ongoing starvation and suffering are somehow sanctioned and covered up by these institutions?

There are many more points I intend to address when time permits, but, unfortunately, during the call, I was interrupted by an urgent matter from a colleague. I politely asked Tamara if we could continue our conversation later, but she shockingly shouted, insisting that her concerns be heard immediately. I am left bewildered as to how someone with such a blatant lack of communication skills could possibly be fit for a role that requires engaging with others.

Hello, everyone. I'm making this new post in hopes of revitalizing Youssef's campaign which is stagnating. Youssef is NINETEEN YEARS OLD and he bears the crushing responsibility of keeping his family alive during a genocide. In Youssef's words:

"Every day is a new battle. I work long hours, searching in the corners of the camp for any opportunity that allows me to earn some money. Fatigue grips me, but I can't afford to give up. My father is sick, trapped in his pain, and his eyes plead for help. There are moments when I feel my heart shatter when I see his gaze; he endures his suffering in silence, but I know he is hurting. As for my little brother, despite his innocence, he is fighting hepatitis due to contaminated food that we are forced to eat."

After a few weeks of pretty consistent 20(+) per day donat1ons, suddenly we've dropped to FOUR in 24 hours! Youssef and his family are still struggling, so let's not give in halfway. Currently, we are at $7611/15000. Let's do our part and help relieve some of their suffering.

The precious child in this video is named Amir Salama @ameersalama2020, and I reach out to you today on behalf of him and his family.

He shares his story above, and if you have the time I implore you to hear it from him, but I will also describe it here, if you cannot watch his video.

Amir is 3 years old, and his family consists of his father, Mohammad, his mother, Rena, and his baby brother, Taim. Amir was in kindergarten and doing very well in school, and even starred in his own Youtube channel with his brother. He had many toys and went to a good school, and was living a happy life and enjoying his childhood.

But on December 1st, Amirs home and school were destroyed by Israeli bombs. He can no longer learn and has no place to call home, and his family was injured in the attack. Both of his parents have broken a leg, and everything that built their lives was destroyed.

Amir's family now lives in a tent, which is riddled with bugs and disease, and they get sick very often. They hear the sounds of bombs overhead nonstop and it causes Rena to cry in fear, and deeply scares Amir and Taim. Rena feels lost, because there is no way for her to feed her family or take care of her very young children's health and sanitary needs.

No one should have to live under this much stress and fear. There are no words to describe the level of outrage that knowing Israel has forced not just Amir's family, but many more to live like this. No one on earth deserves this! What have these babies and their parent's done to deserve being terrorized like this, every day!? Please, if you can see this injustice, and it tears at your heart as it does mine, help Amir and help his family. Palestine will be freed, but this will not happen if we don't let our anger and our heartbreak drive us to action. Contributing to the campaign is the most straightforward way to help Amir's family.
