I’m so full of rage and upset over the outcome of the Hockey Canada trial.

Survivors today, myself included, will be grieving for E.M., for other victims, and for themselves.

So please take time for yourself today, be with people who love and support you, do something that you love, and if you need to, log off for a bit if you’re feeling crowded by triggering topics.

Taking care of yourself is an act of resilience within itself!!

Quinn screams acts of service boyfriend to me

he is the ultimate acts of service boyfriend and I cannot be convinced otherwise. I wrote a little bit of acts of service quinn in this, but I’m always looking for more excuses to talk about him in general.

I think it just stems from him being the oldest brother and now the captain, taking care of others and doing things for people is just part of who he is and how he shows love. it’s his default setting <3

you’ll mention briefly, once, during the day that you ran out of something and when he shows up at your apartment later that night it’s sitting on the kitchen counter. he didn’t even say anything. didn’t mention that he did it. just kissed your head like it was nothing and kept talking about your days.

i’m convinced he won’t let you carry groceries (maybe it’s just cause I hate doing it) like, at all. you grab one bag and he’s grabbing it out of your hand and looking at your like you ran over his dog and mutter a dejected “babe. really?” especially if it’s heavy. that’s his job😌

and god forbid that you attempt to open your own door. you shouldn’t even glance at doors in quinn’s presence

will leave you little reminder notes around the house. “threw your trash out this morning, remind me to take that box to the recycling room” and he’ll sign them off with a little q accompanied by a tiny heart.

he plugs in your phone before bed. fills up your water bottle. checks the thermostat. you’ll never even see him do it, it’s just done.

he just does all these little things that make your life a little easier. he’s soooo cozy bf🥺
