These spices from @davidchang are delicious! I’ve tried them on everything! All of them are fantastic but if I had to choose just one—and fortunately I don’t—the Savory salt is the mvp! I have a Cornish game hen in the oven right now, it has been salted in the savory goodness that is his savory salt! I can’t wait!! Is there something that you never thought you make but have had to because of the quarantine? I made two of those thing tonight. Ghee—easy to make, but I buy it because I hardly ever use it—and these deliciously flaky Parathas. Normally I buy the frozen dough from the Indian grocery store and pull them from my freezer to cook as needed. Today I searched my freezer high and low and we were out! I don’t know about you, but going to the grocery stores right now isn’t my idea of fun! Desperate times call for desperate measures! #collardgreens Eating Collards is soul satisfying for me. But I must admit, they went from a weekly staple, to nil after my pressure cooker died. I just stopped cooking them—because without my pressure cooker they took 2hrs who has that time? But I found a trick, I steam them for 7-10 minutes then sauté them in a little oil with garlic and a splash of vinegar at the end—Perfection!!
