Stress Relief, part 2
Wow. These last couple weeks have just flown by and it's been so busy. When did life get so crazy?😱😱😱
One effect stress has on our body is the inability for our brain to shut off long enough to allow for us to get some sleep 😴😴.
"Sleep play an important role in your physical health. For example, sleep is involved in healing and repair if your heart and blood vessels. Ongoing sleep deficiency is linked to an increased risk if heart disease, kidney disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and stroke". (National Institute of Health). We hear about how unhealthy the American populace is everyday; in the news, on TV, in journals - everywhere. So what to do?
Essential oils can help you unwind and relax your mind and body so sleep comes easy and is beneficial. I have found three oils which are super effective for me; peppermint, lavender and cedarwood.
Tumblr media
Peppermint essential oil has been used to help relieve sinus pressure thus allowing for easier breathing. Plus I really like the smell. It is refreshing and clean.
Lavender is a traditional oil used to help one sleep. It has a calming effects on the body and allows for relaxation.
Cedarwood has an earthy, outdoorsy smell. It can help provide a calming effects as well as assist in respiratory wellness so breathing is enhanced. A few drops behind the ears👂, on the wrists or bottom of feet👣 can help getting to sleep faster and sleeping deeper. It can even be used across the forehand to help calm the over active mind.
I like using a combination of oils in equal parts; lavender and peppermint, lavender and cedarwood or in case I really need sleep - lavender and peppermint diffusing with cedarwood on my feet 👣.
Tumblr media
Essential oils are a natural, non-medical, non-toxic way to help you sleep so you can wake up without a drugged, hang over feeling.
Until next time,
Be blessed 💞

Replacing old "essentials" with new
I've been using essential oils for a year now. If you've been following along with me on this journey, you know I started with rosemary essential oil in my daily shampoo as an addition to my hair care.
Additionally, I have replaced some of my stand-by household cleaners with Young Living's Thieves line.
Now, I enjoy a glass of wine 🍷🍷now and then as much as the next person. But sometimes money 💰is tight and the wine 🍷 I like is expensive.
Essential oils provide an opportunity for you to replace expensive stress relievers, toxin ridden chemicals and smelly sprays etc.
Tumblr media
In my house 🏠we no longer burn candles, use wall plug-in room fresheners, or have multiple cleansers for different rooms. The only product of Young Living's Thieves cleaning line that I don't like is the dishwashing liquid.
We have replaced these products with essential oils. And to de-stress, we diffuse various combinations of oils depending on the mood we wish to have in the house 🏠.
I haven't calculated how much money I've actually saved since starting the switch. But the peace of mind I have knowing that I'm providing a healthier environment for me and my daughter is better than anything. And the best part?? She's moving into her own apartment this weekend and is taking essential oils with her! 🎆🎇🎉🎊
So what can essential oils do for you? They can change your life. Are you ready to take that step? Message me if you'd like to learn more.
Until then,
Be blessed 💞

Stress Relief part I
It's been a bit since I've last written. Way too much has been happening. 😱 I'm quite ready for life to slow down a bit.
Work has been crazy - I've had to work extra shifts and different hours all while trying to keep up with my own job responsibilities. And staffing issues have been horrendous. But my essential oils have again come to my rescue. 🎊🎉🎇
Tumblr media
This has been my life saver at work. Love, love this blend of lime and vanilla. I put a few drops 🌧️🌧️ of this on my pom-pom diffuser that I made (see earlier posting) which is attached to my desk fan 🌫️🌫️. The result is that I am enveloped in the smell of lime and vanilla. My stress is kept to a minimum 😊 and my office is an oasis 🏝️🏝️ of calm and delightful smell.
At home, I use something completely different.
Tumblr media
This is my favorite oil. 💖💙💚💛💜. I use lavender 🌸🌸 every day. In my beauty products and to help me sleep at night 🌃 😴 . The smell of lavender 🌸 grounds me and helps me focus.
When I started on my journey of exploring essential oils, I never thought they would become such an important part of my life. I use them everyday and for all situations. From the beginning of my day getting ready for work 🚿🚿 to my office 🏨 to fixing supper 🍗🥙🍲🥗 with essential vitality oils and finally to help me sleep 😴😴, essential oils play an integral part in my life.
They can help you live a healthier, toxin-free life as well. Essential oils are derived from the all parts of the plant 🌸🥀🌾🌿🌲; from the stalk, the bud, leaf and even bark. Make sure the oils are 100% pure; from seed to seal. Lots of oils out there may have other stuff in them causing them to be impure - even if the label says therapeutic. Be very choosy in your choices - this is your life and maybe your family's as well - that you are affecting. That's why I buy Young Living Essential Oils. All pure. From seed to seal.
If you have any questions, please feel free to message me. Until then.
Be blessed 💞

It’s Fall 🍁🍂🌿
I love this time of year. The crispness of the air 🍃, pumpkins 🎃, the changing color of the leaves, Halloween 🎑🌚, sweaters, everything.
My essential oils can really help me get in the mood for all things Fall and I’d like to share them with you.
Tumblr media
I diffused this combination this morning. It’s called “Trick or Treat”. 3 drops orange, 2 drops Frankincense and 1drop cinnamon bark. It smells wonderful; like candy 🍬.
Tumblr media
I haven’t tried this one personally, but I’ve smelled it before. Very rich in fall smells. Lovely.
Tumblr media
I think these blends sound delightful and I’m eager to try them. Especially the “Spiced Chai” blend. Doesn’t that one sound delightful?
Essential oils can also be used in beauty products as I’m sure you are aware. Here’s one that is not only Fall inspired, but smells divine as well.
Tumblr media
I have used my vitality essential oils to assist in my cooking. For those cool autumn evenings or for your Halloween 🎑 get together, try these wonderful drinks.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I hope you a great autumn season and have a chance to enjoy all of what nature has to offer you. Enjoy the smells, the sights but most of all, I hope you take time to enjoy all of the wonder around you. 🌿🍁🍃🍂🎃🌚. Until then,
Be Blessed 💞

Can weight loss happen using essential oils?
I love Pinterest, don’t you? So many neat ideas 💡💡and recipes and … . well you know. So I saw this post about how essential oils can help with weight management.
I don’t have my girlish figure anymore 🤰🤰. My oldest child is 29 and I don’t think I’ve ever really lost that baby weight I gained! 🤷 Lol.
So I decided to try using my essential oils to see if I can start managing my weight. First I needed some gelatin capsules.
Tumblr media
I purchased these off of Amazon for less than $20 shipping/handling and taxes.
Most of the recipes I saw on Pinterest used grapefruit 🍊, peppermint 🌿 and lemon 🍋 essential oils. Why these oils? Grapefruit essential oil may help with metabolism and decrease sugar cravings. Peppermint essential oil may help reduce hunger cravings and may be used as an energy booster when you need a lift. Lemon essential oil may help curb the appetite and decrease caffeine cravings.
I used grapeseed oil as my carrier oil.
Tumblr media
The recipes I read called for 4 drops of each essential oil and 2 drops of the carrier oil.
Tumblr media
I take one capsule 3-4 times a day before meals and at bedtime. I am experiencing a little heartburn 💥❤️ but this is easily taken care of with a glass of milk 🥛.
I've been doing this for the past eleven days and while I haven't seen tremendous results, I can say that my love handles are smaller (!) and I feel my poofy stomach has gone down some. Who know? Maybe I'll be ready for a bikini 👙 next summer! Lol. I'll keep you posted. Until then,
Be Blessed 💞

Basic Essential Oils for Your Home
Tumblr media
I believe every home should have some basic essential oils. These are my Fab Four 🎆🎇🎉- frankincense, lemon, lavender and tea tree. 1. Frankincense is a multi-purpose, multi-talented oil. It can help with the appearance of skin and be used in first aid. When diffused, it can help clear the mind and help with focusing. 2. Lemon 🍋 is a natural astringent, helps with cleaning and can also be used in food. 3. Lavender 🌸 is the oil of relaxation and calm. It is useful in supporting healthy skin, as a first aid treatment and also in cooking. 4. Tea tree 🌲 may help with skin and hair care, and is helpful in cleanliness. I use a combination of all these oils every day. Let me show you… .
Tumblr media
Face Wash.
This is made with Castile soap, a little grapeseed oil, tea tree, frankincense and grapefruit essential oils. It is really helpful for my combination skin.
Tumblr media
Facial Toner
This is made with witch hazel, apple cider vinegar, lemon, tea tree and lavender essential oils. This works great on my pores and is really refreshing.
Tumblr media
Facial Moisturizer
This is made with a base lotion (I use one with Shea butter and coconut oil) frankincense and lavender essential oils. It is a little heavy feeling, but very moisturizing. My make up does not cake with this.
Tumblr media
Hand Sanitizer
This is made with clear Aloe Vera gel, a little grapeseed oil, tea tree and lavender essential oils. I’m a nurse ⛑️ as I have mentioned in prior posts and I’ve used plenty of hand 👐 sanitizer. You know, the stuff made with an alcohol base. It gets sticky and gross feeling after a couple of uses. Not to mention how it dries out your hands. My sanitizer does not dry out my hands. It’s soothing and smells 👃 much nicer. Not to mention that I’m killing germs too.
Tumblr media
Hand Soap
I make this hand soap for my kitchen and bathroom using Castile soap, water and lemon 🍋 essential oil for the kitchen and lavender 🌸 for the bathroom. I love this soap. It smells nice, lathers great and is economical as well.
These oils are multi -purpose. I’ve listed only a few examples of how I use these oils for me and my family. As I continue to find new recipes and uses, I will share them with you.
Until then,
Be Blessed 💞

Reviewing a Breakfast Dish made with YL Vitality Oils
Tumblr media
Hello all.
Today I'd like to talk about foods 🌮🍕🥞🍜🥘 made with Young Living Vitality Essential Oils.
The difference between regular essential oils and vitality essential oils is vitality oils are made to be consumed either through ingestion or by adding it to sauces, marinades, etc.
So far, I have made a Strawberry 🍓🍋 Lemonade, using Lemon 🍋 Vitality Essential Oil, and a refrigerator breakfast, Banana 🍌Chia Seed. The recipe calls for 1/2 banana smushed into the bottom of your container with 1tbsp chia seeds, 3/4 cup almond or coconut milk 🥛(I used 1/2 cup due to my container size), a dash of vanilla, 1 drop cinnamon vitality oil and 1 drop tangerine vitality essential oil. Refrigerate for 4 hours or overnight. Sweeten to taste.
I made this last night for breakfast today. I used unsweetened almond milk. I think I'll try coconut milk next time to give it a little more flavor. I thought I had stirred it well before putting it in the refrigerator, but apparently I didn't because the cinnamon was not thoroughly dispersed throughout the mixture.
For me, personally, I found that 1/2 a banana 🍌 was not enough. The mixture was very runny. I added another 1/2 to it this morning, and it "thickened" up a bit.
Overall, this recipe was tasty 😊 It is not filling, so if you need a bigger, more caloried breakfast, you'll need something in addition to this.
I've made more for tomorrow, only this time I have added a tablespoon of peanut butter 🥜🥜 to add more protein. I'll keep you posted on the taste.
For your pleasure:

Product Review: Dawn vs. Thieves Dishwashing Soap
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Dawn dishwashing soap
Tumblr media
Thieves dishwashing soap
Prior to getting involved with essential oils, I had the typical house full of cleaners, soaps and disinfectants. I'm a 3rd generation Dawn dishwashing soap user and proud of it. Even advised my daughters when they were starting out on their own time get Dawn because it was the best at cutting grease. I should have been a paid spokesperson!! So when I found out that Young Living made a Thieves dishwashing soap, I had to try it.
If you haven't smelled Thieves yet, you need to. . . . cinnamon and cloves and lemon! 🌿🌱🍋. All the yummy scents that gives your home an "I've been baking all day" smell. I love, love, love the smell of Thieves ❤️❤️❤️
So I purchased the soap. And. . . . . I don't like it. *que disappoinment* 😿😿. It doesn't create a lot of bubbles like I am used to. Okay, I told myself. That's because it doesn't have all the chemicals in it like Dawn does. But the bubbles didn't last through the entire load of dishes. Not that I had a lot: a few plates and bowls, a couple of glasses, a saucepan and a handful of silverware. And you know how you can tell if something is free from grease cuz it squeaks when you run your finger over it? Yeah. No squeak. So the next time I did dishes, I added more of the Thieves soap. No change. And my daughter didn't like it either 😾.
I've gone back to the Dawn. The bottom line, I guess, is you need to experiment and try things out for yourself. Just because someone says it's better for you, the environment, whatever; if, at the end of the day, it doesn't make you feel better in your 💓 or that you've done your best - it's not worth it. As a mom 👧 and a person, I need to know that my dishes are clean and grease free before I cook for my daughter 👩.
All that being said, I have found some products from Young Living that I like and will continue to use. Just not the dishwashing soap!
Until next time,
Be Blessed 💞

Young Living Vitality Essential Oils Strawberry Lemonade: I invited some friends over one evening a few weeks ago to talk about Young Living Essential Oils and some of the other products they offer. I served refreshments. The drink 🍹 was Strawberry Lemonade 🍓🍋 made with Young Living's Lemon Vitality Essential Oil. So what is the difference between regular essential oils and vitality essential oils (I hear you ask)? Most essential oils are formulated to be used three ways: by diffusion or inhalation, by applying topically or through ingestion. Young Living's vitality line consists of oils perfect for flavoring foods 🍗🍕🍖 or to be used as supplements to your diet. You can use these oils directly from the bottle into your food as opposed to putting them in a vegetable capsule to ingest. Therefore I decided to make strawberry lemonade using a recipe I found. I used strawberries 🍓🍓🍓 which I pureed in the blender and added lemon juice and Young Living's Lemon Vitality Essential Oil 🍋🍋🍋. I used honey 🍯🍯 to sweeten. I didn't like it 😲. It was only after adding some artificially sweetened raspberry lemonade drinking packets that my concoction became palatable. 😳 It must have tasted okay because the pitcher of lemonade (I started out with a gallon) only had a few servings left by the end of the evening. Moral of the story 📖, don't be afraid to try new things. Even if it isn't to your taste the first time around. And experiment 🔬 with foods, oils, or whatever your passion is. It is only through trial and error do we really learn and truly live. Until next time, Be Blessed 💞 Julie

When life isn't so wonderful. . . or My daughter's essential oil journey Today I'd like to talk about the darker days that affect a huge number of our loved ones. I'm referring to anxiety and depression. I want to clarify here that I am not a physician, licensed counselor or therapist and I am not attempting to diagnose or prescribe treatment for any condition. I also urge anyone with feelings of extreme anxiety, depression or thoughts of self-harm to immediately seek medical/professional help. I have a lovely 24 year old daughter 🤰who has feelings of extreme anxiety and days where it is hard for her to leave her bed let alone the house. As her mom, 👩, it is really hard for me to see her suffer with these emotions 😿. I did some research on Young Living essential oils to see if I could help her in some way. I was so happy to find Tranquil and Stress Away roll-on oils. Tranquil is made with a combination of Lavender, Cedarwood, and Roman Chamomile oils. Lavender is a calming oil; it calms the body and the mind. Cedarwood has been found to have sedative effects, relieving tension and stress. Roman Chamomile encourages relaxation and supports calming effects on the mind and body. Stress Away is made with Lime essential oil and vanilla extract as well as copaiba, lavender, cedarwood and ocotea. The scent of lime can be uplifting. And who doesn't like the smell of vanilla?!? 😻. Ocotea has a range of benefits including help in relieving feelings of stress. I got both of these roll-on essential oil blends for my daughter. Not only do they help her sleep 💤💤, but the oils have helped her cope in stressful situations which previously would have left her almost incapacitated. The lotion I made for her is a combination of Lavender with Dragon Time essential oil. Dragon Time is made from a blend of fennel, Clary sage, marjoram, lavender, blue yarrow and Jasmine essential oils. Fennel has a history of encouraging grounding feelings while Clary sage has sedative properties. Marjoram can also be calming and blue yarrow is relaxing on the nerves. Jasmine essential oil has been attributed to having a positive effect on feelings of a depressed mood. When my daughter was having feelings of low self worth and questioning her reason for being here on earth, she recognized her depression and diffused Dragon Time. She later told me that during and after the diffusion, she felt better and her feelings subsided. I made her the lotion so she can apply it anytime; multiple times a day if she desires. These oils are not meant to be long term solutions for my daughter regarding her feelings of anxiety and depression. Nor am I suggesting that anyone use these oils in place of treatments/solutions given by licensed professionals. This is what has worked for my daughter. She helped me write this post not only to state her truths correctly but to possibly offer hope to others regarding support. If you are curious about Young Living essential oils or their products, please feel free to message me or visit my website at "yldist.cim/jh4oils". Until next time, Be Blessed 💞 Julie

Ache Relief Lotion
I want to share with you some of what I make and use daily. I’ve also shared this with my family and friends. This is my lotion to relieve aches and pains. I use 10 drops of Frankincense; 10 drops of Panaway and 15 drops of copaiba. As I have mentioned before, I have been a nurse ⛑️ for 33 years. My feet 👣 and knees really ache when I get home after work. Sometimes it’s so bad, I can’t walk. I have seen similar recipes on Pinterest. But I tweaked mine. Let me tell you why. Frankincense is a powerful oil. It supports relaxation, and can help ease discomfort. It comes from the resin of trees 🌳 grown in Oman, Egypt and Somalia, Africa. Used in biblical times, Frankincense is a coveted oil used in spiritual, aromatic and medicinal settings. Copaiba is great for pain and has an awesome anti-inflammatory property. It is derived from a tree 🌲 found in South America. Panaway supports sore muscles and muscle discomfort. Made with wintergreen, clove, peppermint, and helichrysum oils, Panaway smells amazing and is helpful to use after workouts. 🏋️⛹️🤾🚴🏊 I used an over the counter brand of lotion contain Shea butter and coconut oil I really like. I added the oils after filling a glass jar about ½ full with the lotion. It is important to use glass as the oils can leech out of plastic containers and not be as effective. This concoction has been really successful with not only me but my nursing friends and family.👩👨👵👨‍👩‍👧‍👦. I hope this has been informative and helpful to you. Until next time, Be blessed 💞 Julie

Thieves products from Young Living
Review of Thieves Products from Young Living. I love the smell of Thieves. It reminds me of Fall (my favorite time of the year). 🍁🍁I enjoy diffusing it on a cold day. It just makes the house seems cozier. The story I was told is that Thieves essential oil is based off those spices that thieves carried on themselves during The Black Plague. The benefits of these spices helped ward off death. According to my oil desk reference, Thieves contains clove, lemon, cinnamon, rosemary and eucalyptus radiata. These oils provide exceptional assistance in helping the body stay healthy. It can be diffused, applied topically or ingested. 🌿🌿 With all these benefits, I wanted to try the Thieves products. I already had the oil. So I got the toothpaste, dishwashing soap, laundry soap, hand soap and wipes. The toothpaste is very pleasant tasting. I was afraid it would be "hot" because if the cinnamon and cloves - but it is not. It doesn't get as "foamy" as commercial brands and a small amount on the toothbrush is all that is required. I love, love, love the wipes!! ❤️❤️❤️ I wish they were bigger in size. But what they don't have in size, they make up for in cleaning. I appreciate the comfort I get knowing I'm cleaning chemical-free and helping to keep my family healthy. I am a nurse in long-term care. ⛑️ One can only imagine the germs I bring home!! My scrubs have no chemical, fake smell when they come out of the washer. Not only am I benefitting from chemical-free clean scrubs, but my residents are also benefitting. No false smell to aggravate chronic breathing problems. I've only tried the dishwashing soap once, so I don't have a complete feel for how I like it. I'll let you know, however. I hope my opinions have been somewhat helpful to you. If you have any questions on any of the Young Living products, please comment (I will answer) or check out my website at "yldist.com/jh4oils". Thanks for reading. And until next time. . Be Blessed, 💞 Julie

Product Review of Young Living Shampoo & Body Wash
If you've been following along, you know that I started my journey with Young Living oils because I was suffering from hair loss. I started using rosemary essential oil in my shampoo and was seeing my hair growth improve. My hair is very fine and I keep it cut short. Through my research, I discovered that mint is also helpful in hair care and maintenance. So, I thought I'd try Young Living's Lavender Mint Daily Shampoo. It smells wonderful. It is very rich in texture; lathers nicely and rinses away cleanly. I found, however, that I cannot use it for more than a few days at a time. As I said earlier, my hair is very fine. I have trouble with shampoos "weighing" my hair down. Unfortunately, I found this to be true for my hair with Young Living's shampoo. I still use it, but I have to alternate with another brand to keep my hair from being flat. I also tried the daily bath gel, Morning Start. This contains the essential oils of peppermint, lemongrass and rosemary. My alarm is set for 515am during the week. Let me assure you, I love to sleep. And getting up that early for me is similar to someone running their fingernails across a chalkboard. But, bills have to be paid. . . . So I thought the invigorating scents of lemongrass and rosemary would help me wake up better. The scent did wake me up, unfortunately I really didn't like it very much. 😕. Additionally, it didn't lather as much as I like. That being said - it left my skin feeling very soft. My future plans include purchasing Young Living's unscented bath gel and make my own scent. I'll keep you posted. Next time, how Thieves changed my life. Until then, stay happy and - Be Blessed, Julie

A Mad Scientist is Born
I found so much success using the single oils from my Young Living premium starter kit. I started diffusing lavender(a well known sleep aid) and peppermint (because i like the smell) at night. Apparently, I snore (the horror!) causing me to sleep poorly. Amazingly enough, after a few nights of diffusing those oils, I was more refreshed in the mornings. However, according to my daughters, I still snore. *sigh* can I find an oil for that??? Lol. I got to thinking - if essential oils are helping me sleep, what else can they do? I looked in Pintrest under Young Living essential oils and found a wealth of information about what oils do, where they come from and what I can do with them. Additionally, I purchased an essential oil reference book, "Essential Oils Desk Reference, 6th ed." compiled by Life Science Publishing. What an awesome book!!! If you get a chance to get one, I'd strongly suggest it. Being a nurse, I want to know all the gritty details about something, and this book delivers. I started playing and experimenting with my oils. I've made hand soap for my kitchen and bath using castile soap, water and an essential oil. Easy, fast, economical and my girls love it. I make a facial toner with apple cider vinegar, witch hazel and water using lemon, lavender and tea tree essential oils. My moisturizer is a light scented cocoa butter and shea butter over the counter lotion with lavender and frankincense added. Again, easy to make and much more economical than name brands. I have had some failures, though. My homemade dryer sheets were a flop. I mixed white cider vinegar, tea tree and lavender essential oils in a glass jar with some old washclothes to soak it all up. My clothes smelled nice and all, but I couldn't get rid of the static cling. I even used dryer balls, but still no luck. Another disaster was my homemade oatmeal bath soap. *shudder*. Not doing that again!! But I still experiment. Who knows? I might come up with something really cool. As long as I don't blow up the house! Lol. I've tried some of the other Young Living products. I'll tell you what I think about them next time. Until then . . . Be blessed, Julie

My Morning Routine...
Tumblr media
Using an unscented lotion, I added frankincense and lavender to make an inexpensive facial cream for myself. I find my skin has gotten softer and smoother. The smell is nice and is not over powering for me. I use a glass jar though, so the oils stay fresh.
Tumblr media
This is all I use, it spreads nice and absorbs into my skin without leaving a greasy feel. My makeup goes on smoothly and doesn’t crease. My daughter swears by this cream. She feels her skin is less oily as a result of regular use, and she has no problems with her makeup either.
Please feel free to message me if you have any questions over essential oils or the Young Living Company or products!
Be blessed- Julie

Continuing My Journey
Pumped by the success of having my hair grow back by using Rosemary Essential Oil, I bought a Premium Starter Kit of Young Living oils. Oh my gosh! Eleven oils and a diffuser - all those wonderful smells! I was in heaven.
Lavender and Peppermint oils quickly became favorites. I researched the Internet and Pintrest to find ways to use these wonderful oils in my house. Now I realize how healthy it is to use essential oils in our everyday life; but I’m getting ahead of myself. Initially, I was looking for ways to save money and possibly make gifts for my family for the holidays. I like to think I’m seriously crafty - but it’s all in my head!
What I did realize is that I could help others by just telling them about the oils. My daughter, Kelli, was in her first year of her Master’s program. And regardless of how much I wish otherwise, I can’t keep her well and healthy all the time. Because she has had pneumonia twice already in her life, she is more prone to getting during the fall and winter seasons. And let’s face it - sometimes our kids do crazy things, like pull all night study sessions or maybe don’t eat the healthiest. As a mom and a nurse, I’m all too aware of how quickly a stressed out immune system can break down. So, I gave her and her roommate a bottle of Thieves and a diffuser. I asked the girls to diffuse each night when they got home from classes. Additionally, I gave Kelli’s roommate a bottle of RC to diffuse in her room at night while she slept. Kelli had told me her roommate was having trouble sleeping.
I should stress here that Kelli ALWAYS gets sick in the winter. And if you have ever experienced a northern Iowa winter, you understand. Neither girl got sick that entire winter… .hhmmm. Was it the Thieves and RC? Was it just coincidence? My other daughter who lives in Baton Rouge came home for Christmas and Kelli was home for Christmas break. For some reason, I didn’t diffuse Thieves during this time. Kelli complained of having mild cold symptoms  by the end of winter break. She told me that if only I had diffused Thieves, she would be feeling better. Out of the mouths of babes …
I want to clarify here that I am not suggesting anyone not seek medical help for an illness. I am not professing to be a medical physician or diagnose anyone. I just want to share how essential oils have changed how I view my life and hopefully improve the lives of my daughters.
And guess what? I have discovered that I am a closet mad scientist at heart! Lol. Stayed tuned and find out about my “creations”.
Be blessed- Julie
