Fanart for @kittycatfite ´s newest fanfic, omg I love it so much ! It’s basically stobotnik taking shadow in and going on a road trip together and raaaahhhh it’s sooo sosososo good so far, there’s two chapters out and I’m so excited for more, I love it when these three are paired up, i think they do a fantastic trio !

Also robotnik driving… is certainly something. Dw guys he’s just tweaking a bit. Don’t worry. He’s fine.

Daily stob drawing day 5 !!

Dipping into AU territory for today !

This drawing is a concept for my AU, I can’t reveal too much about it but we meet these two wayyy later in the story so I feel a bit more comfortable sharing about them without spoiling too much.

Anyway these are secondary characters, but I think they are cool nontheless. Their name for now are moth!stone And sketchy!Ivo lol it’s not the greatest names but they are place holders.

Down below you can read all the little lore and headcanons I have for them.

moth! Stone :

Comes from another universe, we meet him one year after thé évent of sonic 3. In case it wasn’t clear, the Ivo from his universe is very very dead, along with Shadow And Gerald :(

He got over his fear of bugs and decided to go for a moth aesthetic, inspired by robotnik’s mantis suit. His glasses allow him to have bug vision so he can actually see more color than the average human(ultraviolets) but he also has faster movement detection and all of that.

He got reaaaally into robotics after Ivo’s death. Turns out he’s very good at it ! He built metal sonic. Upgraded his motorcycle to the Max. Built the eggman empire.

Sonic, tom, maddie, tails And knuckles were all thrown into his very own prison And he keeps them there so that Ivo will be able to get his revenge when he’ll come back (he won’t :( )

Very verrryyyy close relationship with Metal, like he’s full on his dad. He’s so much more than a robot for him. He even sew him little suits ! He trauma dump a lot to him. Metal is worried for Stone but he’s programed for unwavering loyalty, so he stays silent.

Turns out, he’s actually a very efficient villain :) cause he actually conquered at least part of the U.S ? I’m still unsure about the geopolitic of it all lol.

His universe is super super colorful, everyting looks like it has some color variations. Very graphic ! Therefore when this Stone is feeling strong emotions, his undertone changes !

He has little moth badniks :D i still need to design them

He keeps the doctor’s original coat set up in the last floor of his tower, locked in a glass tube, next to a shrine dedicated to him. He talks alone in there a lot.

Sketchy!Ivo

He lost his stone before sonic1, in an explosive accident that was definitely ivo’s fault (he didn’t do it on purpose, it was an oversight) :( rip my guy.

He actually never recovered from the trauma of the incident, and got consummed by guilt and depression. He had to quit GUN and robotic as a whole cause he got too traumatised and couldn’t work anymore.

So now he sells ticket in an amusement park, in the country side he hates it so much but it’s his only way to make a living. He despise all of his colleagues and fight with kids daily.

Don’t let his existential dread fool you, he’s still a Robotnik and trauma didn’t make him nicer. YES he’s depressed, YES he’s going to make it everyone’s problem.

He cannot build anything anymore. He tried but he just can’t :( he still has one lonely microwave badnik living with him.

Since he left GUN before sm1, sonic was never discovered in his universe !

His universe is all sketchy And most importantly it’s all in black and white !! And everyone in it see the world in black and white. And that’s what tomorrow’s daily stobotnik drawing should be about if everything goes well.

He hates being called doctor, because it reminds him of his Stone, and he thinks he doesn’t deserve it anymore, as he’s doing nothing with his phd’s.

Their relationship together :

Well at first… they don’t really like each other. At all. Well, especially moth!stone. He despise him, because he says he’s gone too soft and mellow compared to the doctor he knew.

Ivo hates how stone became all assertive and mean, compared to the stone he knew.

They do slowly warm up to each other though… because of « events », they got kicked out of their respective universe And they have to live together :)

Hmmm… things ensue… maybe… love ?

So Yeah !! Sorry that’s a lot of rambling omg, I hope I didn’t bore you all to death, there are probably many typos and confusing stuff because i’m a bit sleep deprived, so I’m sorry in advance !

Reasons why I’m not sharing too much about the AU is because i’m currently writing a fic about it, and while we won’t meet these characters in this one, I do intend to develop them, and I don’t wanna spoil it all !

So yeah, sorry again for all of the rambling, I’ll shut up now !!
