Do you think in english in your head and how much do you think this way?

nothing improves your self-esteem as much as looking for a word in Cambridge Dictionary and seeing it marked as C2

12 & 10 for the ask game
10. Were there any new foods from your TL culture that you tried for the first time this year? :
I got to try mochi! I didn't really like it though unfortunately. Mostly just because of the texture
12. What are your language goals for next year?:
Honestly? Just being able to stay consistent is enough for me. I have a hard time keeping on track with my studies so if I can stay consistent enough to learn anything that's good enough for me

only LOSERS learn languages by taking lessons and practicing. IM learning italian by reading my english version of dante’s inferno and comparing it to the original version and figuring out which words mean what. we are NOT the same

I think the biggest hurdles for me with Japanese and Korean are gonna be the sentence structure and formalities

• Korean Log #2 •
Starting to hear the differences between ㅓ, ㅡ, ㅗ, ㅜ, ㅐ, ㅔ
I know they all sound different, but some are so similar to another it's hard to tell them apart. However, I think I'm starting to remember which sounds go to which when hearing it!
I've also began to understand the compound vowels I was having issues with the other day, thanks to it being explained to me~ I just need to memorize them now

Currently learning a new language
And
Fuck
It's hard
But I keep telling myself "I'm a toddler, scratch that, a baby, learning a new language, hearing it for the first time, trying to piece the words together"
It takes native speakers months, no years, to learn their native language.
I've been at it for a month
I'm not gonna get it in a month
It's gonna take me years
But if I'm willing to put the work in.........

Semester in SK: Korean Curse Words
안녕하세요 여러분! I’m sharing yet another Instagram post with you all–this one is about a bunch of Korean curse words! Very silly, I know, but curse words are a big part of any language and can be fun to learn about! Of course, be careful when using these and please do not use them often–I’m just sharing them for fun and so you can recognize them if you hear them :) I hope you enjoy! 화이팅!
