These caps were waiting at my parent’s place in #Rome. It's a nice feeling to put some fresh new fitteds on display after a few months, even if I can't count anymore how many hats my good friends in #Toronto are holding for me.

Amazing. The Legends League knocked it out of the park for #LLSeason with the "Black Jays" 9FIFTY @neweracap that recently dropped. I don't normally cop many snapbacks, but I had to make an exception for this piece. Such an incredible looking cap with an MLB worthy design - The Jays should seriously consider making this an alternate logo. This is definitely one of my favourite New Era releases of 2015. Would love to see the cap eventually in a 59FIFTY silhouette and maybe even in the classic Jays colorway. Picked up two of these snapbacks today. One of the birds will soon be flying south to NYC to make its way into @farm2chef's collection. So stoked to rock this cap! Don't sleep on it.

From Seoul, Korea all the way to Stia, Italy; New Era Korea connect with Tuscany-based wool manufacturer TACS for a 59FIFTY collaboration (9FIFTY snapbacks are also available). The TACS company have over five decades of experience in the wool industry, and are world famous for their production of elegant Casentino fabric that is steeped in “tradition, quality and passion.” Casentino wool dates back to the Middle Ages, when it was used by Franciscan Friars for blankets due to its durability. The wool is aptly named “Casentino,” - being first produced in Stia, Italy, a small town located in the Casentino valley of Tuscany. The TACS company was founded by Bruno Savelli over 50 years ago, with the legacy of the brand being kept “fresh and alive” today by successive generations of his family. This New Era Korea x TACS collaborative release includes 59FIFTY caps in a variety of colors, such as red, orange, black and more! These hats are made with the unmistakable Casentino wool, known for its “swirls and curls.” The caps feature a minimal design, letting this beautiful Italian fabric take the spotlight. The side of these fitteds are stitched with the TACS signature tag that reads: “Di Moda Dal 1537” (In style since 1537). This is a collection where Italian tradition and elegance meet the standard in contemporary sports and street headwear - the New Era 59FIFTY cap - bringing Casentino wool into a new realm of fashion and style, while reaching a younger generation of trendsetters. La Capsa Nostra hopes to one day see this collection release in the North America and Europe. Fingers crossed!
