every day i inch closer to making a video essay about naddpod music

I’m currently on my second The Adventure Zone Balance relisten of the year and I was thinking about a post I saw on here a couple of weeks ago talking about what people’s favorite lines were or story beats or one off sentences said out of character and I had that in the back of my mind throughout my relisten and I think I found mine:

“I’m not your Pan, but you’ll always be my Merle”

I can’t really explain it, but it tears me up everytime, this dwarf who was ripped out of time and plane with a faith that was really something he had grown up with and was kind of on the fence about getting a face to face with the guy and hearing that he loves him

Maybe it’s the fact Merle is my favorite character but man, his first part of Story and Song was my favorite and felt the most compelling character wise
