Sorry, I missed one Sunday with announcing (I posted the chapter 14, but forgot to mention about it here 🫣).

So, briefly:

Chapter 14: What if you want to know the truth about murdering more than you care about your safety? Ok, in that case even the War Lord of Bai Zhan Peak and demon can...cooperate?

Chapter 15: Shen Qingqiu completed his quest — but what he achieved? Nothing? Damn System or dumb him? Well, there is still the investigation team, maybe they found something useful?

#I have an idea but no time: ghost ashes of Calamites in TGCF — where are they exactly?

Ok, we all know about the ring, which Xie Lian wears on his neck (really, it's an engagement 😁). Hua Cheng wasn't subtle about it at all.

The fanon "did-you-kiss-the-brick-before" theory about the ashes of Black Water Calamity placed in the broken fan of SQX seems very valid to me. Really, with their very difficult relationships it could be true 🙄.

What about other twos?

Let's begin from easiest: Green Touring Lantern Ghost aka Qi Rong, XL's cousin. Probably, he kept his ashes in the very hidden place a very long time — even Hua Cheng couldn't find them, it's a benchmark! I suppose, the key isn't in security, rather — in the vicious creativity of QR.

Remember the underground tomb of the king and queen of Xianle? Where XL discovered his nasty cousin in the possessed body of Guzi's father? What if Qi Rong was there not at all by chance? What if he kept his ashes exactly somewhere in that tomb? So he was 100 percent sure, that the only person who knows the location — his dearest cousin. And Xie Lian couldn't destroy his ashes, because... it's Xie Lian. Yes, they bickered hardly. Yes, Qi Rong was guilty in XL's coffin confinement. But...still.

And maybe just after their meeting Qi Rong took his ashes for hiding them in the more secured place (if XL now is the lover of HC — he potentially could "betray" his cousin). But you know the expression "there is nothing more permanent than temporary"? Well, his new"cheap son" was only temporary trouble, but still could be used, yeah? So... maybe he gave him a bracelet? Or protective amulet? Or that same lantern, where later Guzi will keep his "father"'s little ghost form?

Now the hardest — Bai Wuxiang aka Jun Wu. Somewhere near the Mount Tonglu? Inside the Kiln? In the basement of the Heavenly Capital? With himself all time? Probably. But it's so expected and boring.

No that insidious mastermind couldn't be so predictable. Especially — when he knows about the existence of his ex husband advisor and friend, MNQ, somewhere in that world. And his talents of fate prediction.

Jun Wu didn't search him. Didn't send gods to kill him. Didn't sealed him anywhere. Why?

Because one day he simply appeared in front of MNQ, paralised him and just make inhale his ashes! (That was the most awful kiss in all history). And sealed it with his powers in the dantian (dual cultivation has its dangers, when your ex knows exactly, how your spiritual core works). Explained everything in details about his wild actions. And after that disappeared.

And now MNQ can kill Jun Wu, only if he killed himself. Heh 😏. Not right. He cannot kill himself; moreover he must keep himself alive as long as possible and hidden from all Bai Wuxiang & Jun Wu enemies. Including HuaLians.

Contra: his ex lover friend knows now, where he is now. And a huge level of the moral guilt.

Pros: their manifestation of affection superbs HuaLians in every way (yeah, it's kind a pervert way, but who judges?😜)

*boring TGCF nerd: actually, it's canon, that HC turned himself into the cathedral literally for XL (he is his last and the most devouted believer, remember?) 😏.

And XL has a lot more common with bridges, that seems to first sight: 1) he solved the 2K-years old mystery of White No-Face Calamity aka Jun Wu, connecting the dots between Xianle falling and nowadays mystery cases; 2) he found his true love through 800 years, from meeting with a child to the meeting with a Supreme ghost; 3) he connected a lot of broken fates on his way; 4) he stayed under the feets long time, but without his support the world justice could fall; 5) and finally, do you remember, what exactly Jun Wu dropped in Wuyong? Exactly, the bridge between mortal world and Heaven. And XL metaphorically restored it in the final battle.

All that is strictly canon.

Well, if you sit on Tumblr now — you've already watched that amazing movie through spoilers😁, as same as me. I'll watch it, I promise). But anyway, here we have a totally unrelated source for my wild and crazy imagination:

I'll be brief now (I need the time to watch the movie for the full inspiration): what if the competition for people's souls will be tend not only between Korean K-pop girl band and Korean-mythology inspired demonic world — but with other mythological "demonic" dimensions? And other competitors present their music teams former from their "residents"? As example, Paganini's Son (I know, that this is allegory, yes, but what if that character will be created?) from European Hell?

The event will be organised as usual 😏 — one per 10 thousand years, in the day of Planet Parade or sun eclipse, in-between the dimensions, as a huge show with the random bunch of transferred humans for the audience. The prize — the power over all human souls on the Earth. All "special effects" allowed — songs, charms, swords, spells etc.😁

And some days after their battle with Saja boys, the Huntrix received the burning invitation...

#I have an idea but no time: what if through the centuries of trials for future adepts in CQMS that terrain with tight soil became the sort of The Field of Miracles (as in "The Adventures of Pinocchio")?

Every year the tests for future Cang Qiong Mountains Sect adepts finish with the simple task "dig the hole in the ground". Hundreds of children do that in the valley, while the Peak Leaders and sect masters attentively observe them from the cliff.

"The will moves mountains" — and combined with the sparkles of future "golden cores", I'm sure, it obviously can. And the criterias of successful accomplishment of that task are unknown to the most children (I suppose, the Peak Leaders look on their core potential, the determination, the behaviour in general — some sort of "soft skills assessment"). Maybe, there are some folk legends as "you must to find the diamond in that soil for becoming the Qiong Ding Peak disciple", or "the ideal hole must be strictly square/round form", or "you must dig the hole right in the place when the dragon lines crossed" etc. Poor children can believe in that nonsense easily...and desperate need could born impossible miracles too. Especially — in the qi-filled place.

So, what the CQMS Peak Lords potentially could observe on the trial terrain through centuries:

Pulling a water vein to the surface — ok, it happens often, because it's easy to believe that here could be some source of water in these sacred mountains. Sometimes it was the water that has a magic abilities (like healing or truth serum, or transforming into beasts or others). One time the future adept became so thirsty on the trial, that he summoned the whole fountain from the ground 😁. Well, the sect masters usually have later a lot of trouble to return the veins in the ground or redirecting them to more suitable places — but someone reminds to others every time "thank Heavens, that time its not the volcanic lava, as in year 837 from the sect's foundation"😯.

Founding the real gemstones — well, it happens often too. Maybe, the gems formed from qi and hopes, maybe some Peak Lords insert it before as a joke or "lucky chance" for adepts. The gems are different sizes and value, some even can have the magic abilities.

Uncovering the artifacts — it could be that some of children lost some things during the trial. Money, beads, knives, amulets, toys, some small stuff. With the passing of time they covered by dust and soil and went deeper in the ground. And maybe some of them could absorb and accumulate the qi and develop in something more strange. Or...we don't know, what "historical layers" lay below the terrain surface (so what if Airplane-bro didn't never think about it himself? He didn't think about way more plot holes!): maybe, once upon a time there was a prosperous ancient city, or the cursed battleground, or other ancient sect (here is the huge potential for crossover AU 😁)...or even that dumb author could placed the fallen UFO as a "Easter joke"! So the possibility of digging something dangerous, or cursed, or blessed is minimal but not totally impossible. That's why Peak Lords usually present on the trial even if they don't want to take the new disciple.

Growing the miracle magic plants — easy-peasy! The seeds could be brought by wind, or by the shoes of children. The waitings for some miraculous and the streams of qi energy can push their growth. In the archives of CQMS and especially — Qiang Cao Peak — there are a lot of registration of poisonous plants, rare mythical plants, even some native demonic carnivorous plants (maybe, there was a drop of blood from someone's nose or tired hands...or even, a drop of right blood, why not 🤔?)

Not exactly the artifacts, but... don't you totally not expecting to dig some alive from the ground? The nest of giant Immortal Obsidian Underground Centipede? Or the Saber-Tooth Giant Mole? Or thousands of Eternal Fire Ants? Statistically, the most that cases come from future Bai Zhan adepts, maybe because they're so bored of that dumbest activity ever, that wish rather to fight with some monsters than digging 🙄.

And it's always a hard problem for all 12 Peak Lords when some genius adept digs from the ground not something alive, but rather a contrary — something dead. Buried by centuries and rested in peace under the mountain valley, the eldritch creatures, legendary monsters, fallen villains and cultivators — they all waiting their chance. One case, if someone just digs the dinosaur's bone (ok, some Peak Lords could have a strange disput about "dumb author, do you liked so much the dinosaurs in the childhood that integrated them to this world too?" — "so what if it's yes, Cucumber-bro?"). But what do you do if these bones are summoned by young modao cultivator — you all know, these grim feral children, outcasts from society (yes, "possible crossover detected" again😜)? Kill on spot — or try to guide that outstanding talent in the right path?

(Of course, the candidate who did something unusual, became accepted into sect. But Peak Lords try to keep things under cover, because the peaks need not only "star geniuses", but average ability cultivators too, who will be doing the usual tasks without complaining and rumbling about their exclusivity)
