Thankful Tuesday: Needs vs. Wants
My God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
Sometimes we lose our perspective in this material driven society.
While there is nothing wrong with having a soft desire for pretty, fancy and shiny things,
We have to keep first things first.
Our prayers shouldn’t continually sound like a child’s Christmas wish list.

Weight Loss Wednesday’s: Why Be Healthy?
Weight Loss Wednesday’s: Why Be Healthy?
I must say “I love food”.  Love is probably too light for how I feel about some foods…it’s unhealthy, it’s lust really.
I do believe God wants us to enjoy all His creation but not to the point of obsession.  Not to the point of idolatry.  But we do, the stats show it and so we enter: OBESITY & DIET RELATED DISEASES
I grew up with a grandfather who not only cooked excellent meals for us but also…

Thankful Tuesday's: Want more? Give more?
It’s Tuesday folks and most of America is up & on their daily grind.
While it’s easy to get side-tracked with all the doing, desiring and dreaming,
It’s very important to push pause on our life reel and spend time with the Creator of the things we chase.
If you are reading this, you are blessed.  Not just because you have sight to read but because you have access to the internet. Many don’t.

Motivational Monday: Birds of the same feather flock together!
The widely used quote in the subject is never really adhered to until it’s too late, don’t you think?
  Then there’s the famous:
One bad apple spoils the bunch.
And last but not least a Proverb:
Become wise by walking with the wise; hang out with fools and watch your life fall to pieces (13:20, MSG).
    Motivational Monday Thoughts:
Surround yourself with people who inspire your creativity

We All Struggle With Something
We all struggle with something.
The rich, the poor, the marriage, the single, the healthy and the sick.
We all struggle with something.
It’s easier to think that person A or person B has it easier or better than you when looking through the distant observers lenses.
We’ve all heard the saying: the grass isn’t always greener…
I think it’s b.s. The grass usually is greener but each lawn has its own…

Does God care that I'm fat?
Being overweight, over-fat or obese leads to scrolling pages of health issues.
Step 1 is realizing you have a problem!
Being overweight, over-fat or obese usually means that a person is either:
  Lazy about fitness
A gluten for food (excess)
Possibly lusts after unhealthy foods
Eat foods that their bodies can’t handle
Lacks self-control when it comes to portion control
Has some unresolved…

Freedom Fridays & Crema coffee-Planning really does make a difference-The brighter side
Freedom Fridays-Planning really does make a difference-the bright side
Well, it’s Friday and it’s been an unusual kind of week.
This habit changing thing sucks.
Might I recommend not starting bad habits at all so you can avoid this type of first world torture. ;-)
I had no real plans set today and therefore my day was rather reactive than proactive.
Here’s how the dietary part of my day went:
Up way to darn early: 4:49 am, argh
32 oz. water
tried to go back to sleep…

The Bloggers Diet-Be Prepared or Pay-Throwback Thursday To The Max
Today was a great day!
I got 8 hours of sleep, YAY!
I had enough quiet time for reading & prayer.
My kiddos were on level 6 instead of 9 (with 10 being the highest level).
I had a great visit with my optometrist-if you live in the Spring Hill, Franklin or Brentwood area-you’ll love Dr. Daxx Dunn!
Now as for my diet-not so good. Not so bad. It was just ok.  Here it goes:
  Breakfast:
16 oz. of…
