"Compromise is for cowards."
Oh, how I love this statement <3
There's nothing more important than writing what you want to read. Don't worry about who will like your book. Don't worry about what market it can neatly fit into. Don't cut corners or blunt edges to satisfy an imaginary person who might dislike aspects of your art. It's yours. Treat it as a pure expression of your soul. Compromise is for cowards.

Consistency.
Dear Whomever Is Curious,
I have nothing much to say this week, honestly.
For some reason, I only remember to post when I work this particular shift, which is turning out to be both a blessing and a curse: - I can fulfill my promise to myself of consistency - But I don't actually plan/think about what I should say
That said, I'll give myself credit when it's due (or at least I'm learning to since I do so for everyone else).
I'm still struggling with school, but I am in a much better spot now than I was last week. That being said, any advice regarding adhd management/studying is still welcome, and I will be eternitly grateful lmao. The basic advice everyone gives doesn't tend to work for me, unfortunately.
On another note, I have officially been consistent with practicing my guitar for just over 6 months now, which is a huge accomplishment for me. I have had a bad habit of letting life and drama get in the way of pursuing the things I love (especially guitar, which I have been playing drastically on and off for years), so I'm glad I have been able to do so now. It's been helping me stay a lot more grounded.
I've gotta say, it turns out that some of the 'nonsense' advice in those self-help books can actually be useful lmao. Remembering to make time and space for yourself isn't selfish; it is necessary. Pausing to take a deep breath will ALWAYS do more good than harm. You must help yourself if you want to help others. You deserve happiness too, no matter what anybody (your brain included) says.
Anyways, I believe I'm rambling now lmao.
Remember to take care of yourself, Love you,
King Lilac

The First.
I wanted to challenge myself this year to start engaging and creating online. I have been procrastinating with the excuse of not having anything "good enough" to share, which is a mindset I had hoped to amend. But no more excuses, no more fear.
Better late than never, I suppose lmao.
