Evangeline loved Jacks unconditionally, Jacks did nothing for their happily ever after…
Lala almost killed her and got away with it too?
I honestly can’t get over the fact that everything Jacks does gets excused. Baby Jacks had his reasons. Everyone else is at fault no matter what happens.
It‘s Apollos‘s fault. He is evil.
But Jacks? Nope, he is justified. Btw, he is my favorite character after Evangeline and I love Evajacks, but ignoring his actions is not an option.
The moment he laid eyes on Evangeline, he started using her to go back to Tella everybody. I wonder if he would have saved her from being stone if things in Finale would have worked out for him. He lied to her, deceived her not only in OUABH but in TBONA too. He framed her for murder and risked her life. He put her on so much pain and tears. Until the end of TBONA he was still planning on LEAVING HER BEHIND and go back to Tella. Knowing Evangeline would experience all the pain of losing her parents, being heartbroken by Luc, treated like crap by her stepmother.
And let's not forget the mean dialogue between Jacks and Lala in Slaughterwood Castle. Both of them were so cold and acted infront of Evangeline. They treated her like she is stupid.
Because of Lala Evangeline suffered in pain. She could have died! And a simple apology did it at the end? And of course she is also justified because she made a mistake because of love? But Apollo‘s mistake because of his love and interest is not even understood.
I also wished Eva would have asked Jacks about the dialogue. About how cruel he talked about her. But this is sadly one of many unanswered and unsolved things…
Then, in ACFTL (after he used to stones to save her life) he was still leaving her behind. He wanted to destroy his heart not to feel anything. Even after finding out it was Apollo who took her memories away, he was about to leave her again with all the miseries and all alone. It was Evangeline who truly loved him unconditionally, despite all the hurt he caused her. She risked her life for him. Jacks hasn’t done anything for their happy ending. It’s not that I can’t feel with him at all, but this isn’t talked about enough. In the hollow he gave her hope, he made her fall in love with him just to leave her in the end of Chaos wouldn’t have killed her.
Apollo? I am not saying he is particularly a good man, but after he took Evangeline’s memories he was portrayed as the evilest of all. But from his pov he used his chance. He was cursed by his friend, went through a lot of trouble and HIS WIFE was choosing the guy who is responsible for all of this. And let’s not forget it wasn’t Apollo who had the idea of taking Evangeline’s memories:
It was Aurora Valor
She planted the idea in his head. She gave him the elixir in the first place. With the memory taking and showed him the tree of souls. And let’s be honest, if taking Eva‘s memories would have gotten Jacks were he wanted, he would have done it too.
And what were the consequences for Aurora? Nothing? She cursed Jacks, due to her careless behavior the end of the Merrywood family, Evangeline’s lost memories and everything happened infront of the tree of souls. And she didn’t get a fragment of the hate that Apollo got.
As much as I like the books and Evajacks, there are unanswered questions still and ACFTL feels a little incomplete and rushed. Jacks was suddenly in love with her since the moment he saw Evangeline, Apollo suddenly became the worst guy.
Chaos who literally went on a killing spree got away with everything too (because yeah he can, he is hot right?), Lala tricked Evangeline too. She was her friend but risked her life for her own needs. Also, I felt like Evangeline was too extreme with Apollo? She is right but she didn’t show a fragment of that hate to others who deserved it just as much. She left him after opening the arch and after his curse lifted and he has been through so much. But hours before that she made out with him.
As every other reader, I also have many questions and blank spaces. I loved this trilogy, but I believe it deserved a better ending.
And I would like to add something nice at the end:
Jacks could have gone back farer away in time. To save Lyric and Castor and the so called „foxes“ (I truly hate this part of the story). He also could have still gone back to Tella and still save Evangeline when the time came. But since he never fell in love and loved anyone so deep and the way he loves Evangeline, he used the once time change with the stones to „save her“. Also the fact that he keeps watching her sleep since TBONA 🩷 he never understood why people did that until her. Until his Little Fox 🩷🍎

As Long As We’re Together - Sokkla Saturdays 2024
Day 7: Part Two
FF.net & AO3
Sequel of my last week's entry. Part One.
Sokka insisted on eating some food. He took them to a restaurant. Despite herself, Azula accepted Sokka's treat. She was hungry. They sat outside and kept staring at each other questioningly after ordering their food.
"Well, are you going to explain what's going on?" Sokka finally asked.
"Are you going to explain what's going on with you?" Azula asked back.
"I asked first. Besides, why would the Fire Nation Princess cry alone on creepy streets in a completely different nation form Hers, wearing an apron?"
Azula actually smiled a little at that. He was right. Her situation was in fact weirder. Sokka couldn't help but smile back at her.
"I escaped. Zuko arranged a marriage for me behind my back." she told him blatantly.
"He what?! Is he out of his mind?" Sokka said leaning slightly over the table, clearly taken aback.
"Yeah, I thought so too." Azula said.
"How did you learn of this?"
"I heard Uncle Iroh telling him, it was about time Zuko finally told me that he planned to marry me off. Before he could do that I ran away. We have been on good terms with my brother since the war ended, but his bond with our uncle is worrisome in my eyes." Azula explained. She looked down sadly.
Sokka felt a surge of anger. Zuko had his flaws, but he has been motivated to be a good brother Azula. He asked Sokka for advice on that once. How did it come to that? It was clearly Iroh’s doing but Zuko still shouldn’t accept that. Azula was right, Iroh was too much influence on Zuko.
But saying this wouldn’t help the situation. Sokka needed to reassure her that he would stand by her side. Surely helping someone you know was natural. But he felt his protectiveness more than just that. He wouldn't allow Azula to feel alone. She didn't have an easy life either.
He slid his hand toward hers on the table and took her fingers gently in his palm. It was Azula's turn to be taken aback now.
"I will do anything in my power to help you and protect you Azula. I'm with you, as long as you allow me to. You can trust me."
His eyes were blazing with honesty.
Before she could say anything, the waiter brought their food, and the pleasant touch of their fingers ended.
"Your turn now." Azula said when they started eating.
"Why would a warrior like you, who is best friend with the Avatar walk on creepy streets with an apron on himself?" Her voice slightly teasing.
Sokka huffed.
"I lost a bet."
Azula broke into laughter. Sokka would have gotten mad if it hadn’t been the first time he saw her laugh. Her laughter made him blush instead of angry.
"How did that happen?" she asked forcing her laughter to stop.
"We made a bet with my sister. I might have gone a little overboard and told her she would never be able to beat me at a "boomerang race". She said if I lost, I'd work in this teashop for a week. "
Azula broke into a stronger laughter this time.
"I tripped and fell down Azula! Otherwise, there is no way she could have beaten me!" Sokka squeaked.
Still, she couldn't stop laughing. Sokka looked rather cute while he explained his story.
"Glad I could improve your mood princess."
"I'm sorry Sokka, I just can't..." she tried to say in between laughter.
Sokka joined her laughter soon enough.
They ate, laughed, and talked leisurely. It felt genuinely nice to be in each other's company.
Working in the teashop didn't feel horrible anymore. They joked around. From the outside it looked like they were glad to be in this situation. After their shift ended they would hang out in a restaurant and go for a walk.
Until their good mood shifted, when certain people entered the teashop right before it was closing time. It was the third day for Azula in Ba Sing Se.
Zuko arrived with Katara, Aang and Toph next to him. He left his soldiers outside the teashop.
Her brother looked worried, she had to give him that.
“Azula, what is that? I barely slept for days in worry something might have happened!” he said roughly.
Azula gave her brother a harsh glare, but before she could say anything Sokka gave her a short reassuring look and rushed toward Zuko. Anger pouring off him.
"Are you out of your mind? How can you do something like this to your sister Zuko?!" Sokka yelled.
"Calm down Sokka." Zuko replied furrowing his eyebrows.
"You can't force her to do anything you hear me?" Sokka told him.
Zuko found his explosion a little too much but responded anyway. He tried to at least. Because Katara burst into laughter.
All eyes turned to her.
"Hey Sokka, can you give us some tea." she said.
"Oh, nice apron Sokka." Aang began laughing too.
"I am sure Azula's apron looks much better." Toph teased now. She knew the Princess was working here too.
Sokka just growled.
Zuko's eyes landed on his sister.
"Azula, I was never going to force you to anything. You are my sister, and I really wish you trust me." Zuko actually looked sad.
"I heard Iroh talking to you about how you should tell me that you plan a marriage for me." Azula said.
"Did you hear the rest of it?" Zuko asked. He looked at Sokka and then at Azula again. An interesting situation was happening.
"I told uncle that I never planned such a thing. Then he asked me if he could make you a suggestion. But before that I wanted to talk to you of course."
"Isn't this just perfect?" Toph said smirking.
"What?" Azula and Sokka asked in unison.
Katara started laughing again.
"What's so funny now huh?" Sokka asked annoyed.
"The person Uncle Iroh suggested you marry Azula..." Zuko started.
He paused, closing his eyes. Maybe this whole thing was a sign.
"Uncle believes you guys would match very good together." Zuko said.
Time seemed to stand still. Azula looked at her brother, then at Sokka who looked just as stunned as her. Katara and Toph smirked and Aang winked at her, looking happy.
"My brother and you." Katara interrupted.
Azula and Sokka were standing side by side, but their heads turned to the side so they could see each other's eyes.
"Well, I spied on you guys and sensed your feelings for one another flourishing." Toph whispered to herself. For she could feel how happy they were in each other's company.

A:TLA Characters on Halloween
Azula: Dressed simply and is beautiful as always. Is pretty sure that she'll get all the candies. They have a bet with Sokka on who will get the most candies. She ends up not getting much, which leads her to slightly lose her temper infront of each door.
Sokka: Is very competetive and pulls out his best jokes. Also doesn't get much attention which frustrates him while Azula stands next to him pretty amused by the situation. They end up fighting everytime.
Zuko: Didn't really want to come with them but couldn't stand the annoying comments of his sister and Sokka. Wanted to take part on their bet but they didn't find him competetive.
Katara: Is dressed cutely and gives her best. Is extremely nice to everyone but no one is really impressed. This angers her at the end. *AngryKataraModeOn*
Aang: Has the coolest costume and the best tricks. Very impressive and gets all the candies and love. Is ready to share it with everyone but they just leave him behind at the end. Letting out all their bad mood on him.
Toph: Doesn't care about anything and isn't wearing a costume. Was dragged by the rest. She still gets attention and the most candies after Aang. The people are impressed by her "costume".
The night contains lots of Azula laughing at Sokka and Zuko's frustration and Sokka laughing at her's, while Zuko gives up and just stands next to her. Katara being offended by Aang and him staying there confused trying to set up everyone's mood by being funny and shiny. Toph just silently walking behind all of them thinking why she has to be with them right now.
Sokkla&Zuzu is just so my dreammm

As Long As We’re Together - Sokkla Saturdays 2024
Day 6: Part One
FF.net & AO3
Due to the rules of this event, I decided to split this story in two parts. Otherwise the word count was twice as much. The sequel will be posted next week. I hope you enjoy this one as much as I did!=)
The moment she sat foot on the ship she wondered if she made a mistake. More so when she arrived at the gates to Ba Sing Se. She knew she needed to escape, but part of her was very aware that she was all alone. Without protecting guards or friends who guided her, even if she did what she wanted in the end. But a princess must do what a princess must do.
When she arrived in Ba Sing Se, she actually wanted to cry out of anger. The weather was different, the air smelled weird, and the clothing was nowhere near the level of quality she was used to. She was here years ago, when she conquered the city. But back then she didn't notice these things, busy with another goal in mind.
Her brother wouldn't find her that easily here. Fire Lord Zuko wouldn't think his sister would land here. Thanks to her lies and pretense and her connections, she made it into the gates. Her true identity is unknown to most of the people here in the middle ring.
She was given a small apartment. She needed to be careful not to spend her money on unnecessary luxuries. Even if they seemed necessary for her. But the money she brought from home was limited. She had to accept a job at a teashop unwillingly. But what choice did she have at the time? This was a start, and she would set a final goal step by step.
After her first day of work, she didn't make it far from the tea shop. Tears started to slip her eyes as she leaned at a nearby wall, hugging herself. She held back for too long. She cried and cried and cried.
"Hey, are you okay?" a concerned male voice reached her ears.
Azula immediately straightened, wiping away her tears with the back of her hands.
"Yes." she answered trying not to sound fragile, which was easier said than done with her puffed eyes. When her vision cleared, she saw the stranger.
"Azula?!"
Out of all the people on this earth, it was him who found her crying.
"Sokka?"
Time seemed to stand still for long minutes. They just kept watching each other. Confused. Surprised. Uncomfortably.
Azula couldn't let her guard down now around this man. She had to react, for Sokka was a friend of her brother. Could it be possible that the reason he was there was to capture her?
"Did you follow me?" Azula asked, taking a threatening step forward.
"No!" Sokka didn't mean to yell, but it came out like that. Yet Azula didn't stop her threatening steps.
Just minutes ago, she was crying bitterly. Now her sorrow seemed to be flown away, replaced by anger. Though, he needed to give her credit. Her eyes were still red from crying, and she was just protecting herself for whatever reason. He needed to convince her that she certainly didn't need to fear him.
"Then why are you here?" Azula was about to use her firebending, but Sokka was faster. He turned her around in a flash and pressed her chest to the wall, trapping her hands behind her back, his grip firm on her wrists. Yet he tried to be gentle, he tried not to hurt her. Experience told him he had to do this, because the woman in front of him wasn't to be taken lightly.
Azula didn't stop moving so he did what he had to do. Sokka pressed his chest to her back. No one talked. Only heavy breaths were heard.
Sokka was a strong man. A proud warrior. Azula struggled against him in the past. Even more than she did against the Avatar.
"Get your hands off me!" Azula said. But her voice came out gasping.
"I will, if you promise me not to attack." Sokka replied. His breath touched her ear.
Azula left out a breathy snicker, "Why would you trust my promise?"
"I would have thought you were a princess who'd keep her promises." Sokka replied.
"I promise." Azula said.
"You have to mean it Azula!" Sokka said.
"What's with you pinning me to walls every time?" she tried to tease.
Sokka turned back in time to the day of black sun. It was good to know she didn't forget about that moment either. The memory was buried inside of him clearly. Especially the moment when she flew over him. He was glad she couldn't see his light blush.
"I wouldn't have to if you didn't give me reasons." he replied, trying not to sound affected.
"Or you look for reasons to press me against walls."
"Hehe, maybe you are looking forward to it every time." Sokka smirked.
"Did Zuko send you to capture me?" Azula asked now, focusing on the present, for she had bigger problems now.
She actually didn't genuinely believe Sokka was here to capture her. But it wouldn't hurt to be sure, just in case.
"For what?" Sokka's confusion grew.
Azula didn't answer.
"I have been working at this teashop for two days. Except for today I needed a day off but came here to fetch my apron. I haven't heard anything from your brother for the last three months." Sokka said earnestly.
Azula believed him. It was true that he had been in the palace three months ago. Sokka let go. She didn't turn around immediately, still processing the latest happenings.
"Azula?" Sokka asked worried. This situation was beyond confusing.
He had questions. But she looked sad. Her eyes swollen from her crying and he wanted to make her feel better.
"Let's go somewhere else and talk. These streets are creepy." he said.
Azula complied. She didn't realize how much she needed a familiar face.

As Long As We’re Together - Sokkla Saturdays 2024
Day 5
FF.net & AO3
The grand library of Caldera City was a beloved place. Some of the friends went to study something new. Some went there to read and lend books and others tagged along to drink some tea and chat.
Azula was very precise when it came to choosing books. Once she loved a book, she devoured it. She could read them over and over again. Normally she enjoyed reading in her room, comfortably tucked on the couch drinking coffee or tea, without anyone interrupting her.
Yet she couldn't stop reading the book she held in her hands in front of the shelves in one of the romance sections. This one was slightly different from her favorite trilogy. She was careful because she didn't need anyone to know what was happening in it.
"Azula, are you coming?" Mai asked, already standing in front of the door with Ty Lee.
"It’s getting late, we are hungry." Ty Lee complained. Hunger took her typically good mood away.
Azula closed the book and started her walk to the door when a librarian came inside.
"Princess, we need your signature for these documents."
Azula put down her book on the table. When she was done with the signing, she took another book from the table. Completely unaware.
..................................................................
"Hey guys!" Sokka entered the library section Azula, and her friends have been.
"They already left Sokka." Katara said from the halls.
Sokka walked towards the table where a book lay. "Did they forget a book by any chance?"
"Azula was reading a book when I came in earlier. It could be hers." Katara replied.
Sokka picked up the book and opened it, not expecting what he saw inside. He saw a folded page. He read it.
A wolfish grin appeared on his face.
..................................................................
The friends met for dinner again. Throughout it Sokka kept staring at Azula flashing a grin and wiggling his eyebrows.
Azula seemed confused. Her lover always flirted with her, but this time, it was different. He seemed especially flirty and weird today.
After everybody left, Sokka went to Azula's room. She changed into more comfortable clothes and was sitting on the couch in front of the massive windows.
Sokka walked up and took a seat next to her, making sure they were close, still with that smirk of his.
Azula raised an eyebrow.
"What's with you today?" she asked.
Sokka pulled the book out he found on the library table.
Instantly, Azula blushed. Not just on the face, but she felt that heat on every part of her body.
"You read erotic books huh?" Sokka asked, playfully.
"Give it Sokka!" she launched herself at him while he tried to keep the book away from her, stretching an arm.
"How can you look inside just like that?" she asked, still wrestling him.
"Why not?" Sokka asked, giving her the book now to avoid making her angrier.
He leaned in, stroking her hair.
"You know, I can make your fantasies come true. If you'd want me to." His voice was seductive.
Azula turned around, fighting her growing blush.
"I don't have any fantasies." she actually smiled now.
"Are you sure princess." He took hold of her chin gently and made her look at him.
"You never look inside my favorite books but this one you read." Azula said.
"Tell me about those favorite books of yours then." Sokka said, nestling comfortably on the couch, ready to listen.
Azula wasn't sure if she truly should talk about those romance books. They felt cheesy and she always disliked such acts in real life. But still, it was a good distraction to hide her excitement about Sokka's bold comments.
"The girl in this book is heartbroken. So, she goes to ..."
Sokka couldn't recall when he stopped listening to her. He was distracted. Distracted by the way she was talking. The way her eyes shone and furrowed. How a tiny little dimple appeared near her lips. He looked at her black lashes. The way her lips moved.
He felt bad that he couldn't listen to her anymore, but it was difficult when she was so mesmerizing.
"Are you even listening Sokka?" Azula asked, brows furrowed.
His eyes left her's and landed on her lips. Then they went down, to her neck and lower. Boldly. Shamelessly. Azula felt that heat rising within her again.
Without any more words, Sokka dove in and kissed her. Azula's arms went around his neck, while he took a firm hold on her waist. Climbing atop her, while kissing her wildly. They lost themselves in their lust and love for each other.

As Long As We're Together - Sokkla Saturdays 2024
Day 4
FF.net & AO3
“I’m home now. In my room actually. I love you my beautiful princess.”
Azula smiled when she saw Hawky land on her windowsill. She rushed to the window, opened the scroll, and hastily read her lover's letters.
Sokka had left half an hour ago after a long day. As always, he wrote her.
Azula's smile widened when she was done reading his message. She was sitting comfortably on her chair, her sleeping robe on, with a candle on her desk.
"Glad you are. I was almost worried you'd get distracted by handbags or food. I love you, my handsome warrior."
Sokka had his hair down and his sleeping pants on, sprawled out on his bed, needing a quick breather.
He wasn't completely sure if his lover was up to writing since she was tired. Upon hearing Hawky on his balcony he jumped out of the bed with a huge foolish smile.
Like Azula, he went to his desk. Shaking his head, he chuckled at her message.
"Very funny princess. I have something to snack right now though. Did you eat something? Have you already tucked in bed with you fascinating sleeping robe on and ponytail that gives breathtaking view to your pretty neck?"
He loved teasing her, of course mixed with the truth in his words. Imagining her smile and blush while reading his flirty message surely made him satisfied.
Azula indeed blushed. She was tired but Sokka made her forget about that easily.
"You dirty-minded warrior. Indeed, I am exactly like you imagined. Unless deep down you imagined something else? Knowing you, you did. Do you have your hair down and are ... shirtless? I am drinking some chamomile tea."
"Are you sure  the dirty-mined here is me princess? Yes, I am so very shirtless, but your skin is missing on it. Good, the tea will help you sleep comfortably I hope. Wished I could hold you all through the night while stroking your hair."
This time, Azula smiled differently. Her heart clenched.
"Me too. But soon it will happen. I'd rather be in your strong arms right now too. I love you so much Sokka!"
Sokka too, got emotional now.
"I love you indescribably much you know that right? I know, soon I'll never ever let you go. No matter where you go!"
Sipping from her tea, Azula wrote back.
"I like the sound of that. Can't wait to have you around for good. Good night my warrior."
She knew, Sokka would always send the last message, the gentleman he is. Both of them kept some of their letters in their rooms, to read them sometimes, and feel comfort in their memories. Azula kept more of them, since Sokka insisted to write the last one.
"Good night Azula. I kiss and hug you my love."
"Did you actually kiss the letter? Well, I'll give you a good night gift and kiss the letter back now."
"Of course I did! Your fingers touched this letter which makes it precious! I love you Azula, see you tomorrow."
They went to bed with comfort inside their chests. Hoping to meet in sweet dreams until they could see each other again tomorrow.

Spoilers:
Could the Evajacks novella be while the next Caraval takes place? Legend is still planning where and how it‘ll be…
They hinted the holiday in the Magnificent North has a tie with Caraval. But… I dislike the idea of Evajacks meeting Tella and Legend very much and hope they won’t meet.
This novella should be about Evajacks. Plus their friends with Chaos and Lala and the Valor children maybe. 100% OUABH. Spectacular was only for the original Caraval characters, OUABH characters deserve the same commitment I‘d say. I mean Caraval turned back after a break, now we had a break from OUABH and that series should also have its fourth book in it‘s own world. We saw enough of the Caraval cast. We need more Evajacks, Chaos, Lala and maybe even Luc and Marisol.

“A tormented scream pierced the night like a blade. The sky bled, and darkness fell instead of stars, erasing lights across the Magnificent North.
The girl was dead. If her lifeless body had not confirmed it, then it would have been made clear by the horrible scream of the Fate who held her in his arms. The story curse was familiar with pain, but this was agony, the sort of raw grief that was only seen once in a century. The Fate was every tear that anyone had ever shed for lost love. He was pain given form.”

Who would have seen this outcome for their love life? They didn't find love in their twenties. And now in their thirties, accepting this match proposed by their families didn't seem wrong.
But would they be able to learn to love each other?
Sokka already felt a spark he couldn't quite place.
"I declare you husband and wife!"
Azula looked unreadable. Although now that he gave it more thought, she looked like she didn't expect much from him or this marriage. From anyone in this world. She acted like that since their engagement. He so wanted to prove her wrong.
Sokka wondered how he got so lucky to marry a woman with such stunning eyes. And face. Her hair too. And her lips were just beautiful.
He leaned in and pressed a tender and promising kiss to her forehead. Which was as beautiful as the rest of her details. His kiss lingered more than he planned.
-------
After the ceremony they were brought to their now shared room. Sokka never teared his eyes off her. He felt that sparkle again and a strong sense of protectiveness over his bride.
"You seem unable to look away from me." Azula said, standing in front of the mirror while taking the ornaments off her hair. "Already regretting marrying me?"
"What... No!" Sokka replied without hesitation. "Quite the other way around actually."
Sokka walked up to her. Azula instinctively turned to face him. He was handsome. Strong and from what everybody else around her said, a good man. She knew him and his friends from seeing them from time to time.
After the war, Azula withdrew herself. She spent much time alone, with books and art. She didn't trust she would get a good man and didn't believe love would find her one day.
As much as she tried to focus on those thoughts again and keep her expectations from low to zero, she couldn't help but feel slightly overwhelmed and excited by the deep gaze of her husband.
Sokka took her hands in his and stroked them with his thumbs.
"I will do anything in my power to make you feel forever safe and make you happy Azula. I promise." he said confidently.
Azula smiled. But it wasn't a happy one. It was one of those smiles that secretly told "Yeah, right".
"I mean it! I could've said no Azula. But I chose to marry you, because I wanted to." Sokka said.
She couldn't bring herself to ask why, so she said: "Sokka, don't be too hopeful, I don't believe in a good marriage with love and understanding and patience. I don't believe you will stand by me no matter what."
Azula pulled away and turned around to walk away from him. But Sokka was faster. He took hold of her arm and turned her around. They were so close. Azula thought their noses were touching. And she was right because he leaned even closer and pressed his forehead to hers. His hold of her arm loosened, and he held her by the waist now. As if scared she would walk away again if he let go.
His gaze was so intense, Azula just gazed back. She felt hot under them and started feeling things she couldn't describe with words.
"I am Sokka. Your husband." He said "Your" so firmly. As if he were angry that she couldn't see it. Couldn't see him. Believe him. "And I am the one who will make you see how much he values you and this marriage. The one who will never let any harm come to you and the one who will always stand by you."
He spoke softly. But the words were so firm on his lips, she felt something on her spine.
Neither of them moved. They stood there silently. With hot gazes.
A brand-new book started today in Azula's life. This time, it wouldn't be that of other people's love stories. No. This book was Azula and Sokka's love story. And it would be one of the happiest and best ever.
