Part I: The Papabili

Disclaimer: Nun Gangle was not my idea, but rather that of @v-sansings. Also, this is not an AU, I just wanted to try and make posters for movies I got hyperfixated on, with the quintessential TADC twist. Also I would also like to try making storyboards for this.

Premise:

The Pope is dead.

Cardinal Cosmo finds himself the overseer of one of the world's oldest and most secretive traditions- the election of a new Pope. He encounters stiff competition from other powerful candidates of the Amazing Digital College of Cardinals, but later finds out that they are less powerful than they'd have you think.

Pray silence for the Most Reverend Muffman, the Archbishop of Drury Lane! And yet be warned, for the Primate of all Wonderland has vowed to never make it easy for you- that is, if you were ever with those bloody Reds.

Remember Eggbert's arrest? That was him. They don't get along, even when Eggbert already pledged his loyalty to the Mildenhalls.

No, he doesn't trust Pomni either. He trusts very few people who are not the White Rulers. But make no mistake- he isn't a tyrannical jerkwad or an elitist snob, he's just extremely strict.

Inspired by Reverend Clement Hedges from Wallace and Gromit: the Curse of the Were-Rabbit, and Fowler from the Chicken Run films.

Gummigoo, Max and Chad as the GomBurZa

Gummigoo as Padre* Mariano Gómes

Chad as Padre* José Burgos

Max as Padre* Jacinto Zamora

Context: The GomBurZa were three Filipino priests who were executed by garrote by the Spanish colonial authorities in the Philippines on charges of subversion. They were already in hot water with the Spaniards because of their campaign for equal rights for native Filipino clerics, which the ruling minority of (corrupt and greedy) friars opposed. When the Cavite Mutiny was crushed in 1872, the GomBurZa were arrested and charged with being involved in the failed mutiny, and eventually sentenced to die on February 17.

José Rizal, who would become the Philippines' national hero, witnessed the execution of the three priests. In the future, he would dedicate his second novel, El Filibusterismo, to them. The execution of the GomBurZa, and Rizal's own on December 30, 1896, helped to eventually cause the Philippine Revolution, by convincing Filipinos that Spain's oppression had to end.

Explanation:

Bluey and Carl would easily make friends of everyone in the Digital Circus, except for Jax, (of course because he'd pester them once in a while) and Caine and Bubble. (because they scare the two) Muffman would not dare pester them at all, and even cares for their well-being, but too busy with his own thing to play with them.

My Impression of Human Spoonsie, Platette and Wensley

Notes and Proposed Headcanons:

1. Arrows signify immigration. Human Platette and Wensley immigrated to America.

2. My design for Human Spoonsie is based on the concept art for Mirabel Madrigal from Encanto. And I still suck at drawing ballet shoes.

3. Human Spoonsie grew up in a loving family. While they weren't rich, they had everything they wanted and needed. Her dad lovingly doted on his precious daughter.

4. My design for Human Platette is based on Emma Myers. She loves to paint stuff. Easels, murals, paper, the whole shebang.

5. My design for Human Wensley is based on Tom Felton. He, like Ragatha, came from a moderately wealthy family and developed his knack for inventing things when he was very young. Despite his parents disapproving of him, he always found ways to nurture his inventiveness.

6. Their VAs are Ciara Renee, Elizabeth Olsen and Ben Whitehead, respectively.

Next up... I may try to do the human version of some other TADC OCs that I don't own!

My Impression of Human Eggbert and Muffman

Notes and Proposed Headcanons:

1. Arrows signify immigration. Human Eggbert and Muffman were immigrants to America from the Philippines and Northern Ireland, respectively. (The latter's territory is drawn here as it has no official flag.)

2. Human Eggbert is an aspiring educator, Human Muffman an aspiring detective.

3. Both live with their grandparents, single fathers, uncles, and cousins. Both are serious men of duty, yet Human Eggbert still can make time for frolic and fun, Human Muffman less so.

4. Their VAs are Michael Arden and Sam Claflin, respectively.
