dealing with the worst case scenario
your condom breaks
you feel a lump on your breast
your friends are ignoring you
you’re stranded on an island
you got rejected by a crush
you get into a car accident
you got stung by a bee/wasp
you got fired from your job
you’re in an earthquake
your tattoo gets infected
your house is on fire
you’re lost in the woods
you get arrested abroad
you get robbed
your partner cheated on you
you’re on a ship that’s sinking
you fall into ice
you’re stuck in an elevator
you hit a deer with your car
you have food poisoning
your pet passed away
you fall off of a horse
you or your friend has alcohol poisoning
you have toxic shock syndrome
your house has a gas leak

STAR TREK: STRANGE NEW WORLDS 3x04 "A Space Adventure Hour" trivia and behind the scenes
"The real out-takes which I hope we get to see sometime are... I always let the takes run after the scene is over. Anson with that telephone, he did things that were INSANE and wonderful and wild. There's a lot of stuff on the editor's floor that would make a really good gag reel." - Director Jonathan Frakes

One week, no YouTube.
Only Nasa app and Nasa.gov website.
Discovering free ebooks and Nasa podcasts--one of which has a backlog of over 400 episodes. I'm probably good for at least a year's worth of edutainment here.

Well said, also, people should really familiarize with the intersectionality between their religion centric mindset with their settler colonialism attitudes (AKA racism, fascism and the like). Because, to no one's surprise, this not only has affected Muslim folks, Palestinians (who are the one's being actively genocided in this whole fucked up situation), brown people in general and you know, Arabs; there's also Arab Jews, who are, arguably, the ones native to the region (in conjunction with Palestinians and Arabs in general), and who are being ostracized by the Israeli government (no YT link since I'm going through the YT blackout/boycott currently).
Oh, they also weaponize the Holocaust and Holocaust survivors for their benefit while also silencing their voices when they don't fall in line with the Zionist rethoric they spew (to be clear, I'm still talking about Israel)
Tumblr media
“don't the jews deserve their own state?”
no. no religious or ethnic group deserves their own state. that is a stupid and terrible idea that always leads to the formation of an apartheid state as everybody outside of the “in” group becomes a disenfranchised second class citizen. from there you're only a skip and a jump away from a starting a genocide and/or deportation campaign.

I don't know what's left after this. They announce it officially without fearing anyone and without taking into consideration international conventions. (Smotrich: We are destroying Gaza and we will not stop.)

The fucking nerve I tell you. I don't even know what sexist bullcrap they make up to justify their transphobia
Tumblr media
It was never about "fairness." They're punishing trans teenagers for existing. Most chess tournaments aren't even gendered.

And this, friends, is why you DO NOT rely on LLM's to give you accurate information on literally any topic.
Not only can they just straight up hallucinate "facts" and people that don't exist, they can be tampered with incredibly easily.
Elon saw his LLM was giving information he didn't like so he went in and changed it, first forcing it to constantly talk about white genocide and now to promote openly Nazi propaganda.

Damn straight
What really ticks me off when talking about ai is when people are like "it's unavoidable" or "you'll have to learn to use it someday" or "its going to be part of the future" like no it's plenty avoidable actually if you have a spine stronger than a dandelion. You simply say "no" and continue to use your own goddamn brain.
