ohhh btw the ORIGINAL character I made,,

he has no name but he's a halfling and GARGOYLE hybrid [I had a ...very weird fixation on gargoyles at this time. like the literal stone creatures]. well how does that work?

well his lore is that he comes from a small village of halflings that worship a divine gargoyle as a deity. when unnamed guy was born, he was very ill and sickly as a baby, so his grieving parents asked the gargoyle for help. to save the baby he was made half-goyle thanks to the deity thing.

so he's got draconian limbs, wings, ears and a tail all made of stone [i don't think he can fly properly though]

but the thing is that I'm pretty sure his backstory would require the DM's world to have a divine gargoyle and a random ass village n stuff 😭 AND I'm not sure how the gargoyle stuff would translate into stats or anything. like idk if it would be important or just cosmetic and he would play like a normal halfling

i just thought it was cool back then ok 😔

I've been wanting to play since middle school 😭 I've just never gotten the chance

i kinda have a character I made for it but what I'm really thinking about is Fly and making a player-friendly AU of him [although ill probably call him by his humanoid name Flint (AND STEEL)], but the problem lies in his mary-sueism 😔 obviously, I would depower him a bit to make him less OP, but his abilities themselves are kinda important. obviously, flying, and pyrokinetics, and shapeshifting. but spellcasting classes are usually not beginner friendly due to the spells making the combat system a bit more confusing

and I'm not even sure what class encompasses that or at least some of it, OR even what his race would be 😭 I usually draw him with his ears and wings in his human form, which I could prob rip off in this hypothetical version of him, but I'm still not sure if he'd be actually fully human or not

and this is just if I actually GET to play 💔💔 id like to but I just don't know where
