Endproject First year of GAME DESIGN

We had 3 weeks to make a working videogame prototype of anything you wanted. My video game is called “Aoka”, Ao means blue, Aka means red in japanese.

Ao and Aka are also my 2 main characters. Aka lives in the past and Ao lives in the future, they somehow got in touch with eachother and now help each other go through the puzzle platform. I wanted the game to be very beautiful to look and atmospheric. 

The music is I used in this game was “Dimensions - by Arcade Fire” from the soundtrack of “HER”.

If anyone is interested in trying this game I gladly want to send you the build. (NOTE: This is a prototype made by only me in 3 weeks in my first year of game design, so It’s absoluteley not polished.)

AOKA - GAME 

Project week 

The assignment is to make a working game prototype in 3 weeks. Currently I’m in the second week. My game is called “Aoka”. It’s about Aoka who is in touch with it’s older self and can switch from the past to the future. This will be the core mechanic. I want it to be a kind of puzzle that is very beautiful to look at. Similar to “Monument Valley”

I may post some gameplay aswell later.
