#i used to live in a room with a window that showed the street below and the city landscape#the street below were lined with apartments and at night it was quiet except for the music playing from the bar and#people singing the lyrics to the song#ngl it was distracting during my exam periods but the othertimes it felt comforting to have that as the background music#and to have the city speckled with dots of lights in the background#and you know that feeling when the sunlight hits your bed and you're laying there watching the dust motes float in the air#and waiting for your laundry to be done#yeah there are the two memories that are elicited from me when i looked at this#it's the quotidian things that bring such joy
