When ya find out there is a Comic Con happening in your town and have the urge to dress up as one of the scrybes. But need to make make props for it...

WELP LOOKS LIKE I GOTTA MAKE SKELETON CARDS AND FIGURE OUT HOW TO MAKE A SKULL DIADEM!

But for real though there is a Comic con happening in September in the town i live in and you bet your Inscryption loving butts that I am going to go dressed as Grimora!! It would be a shame if i didn't when i did so much to make it a cosplay of her in the first place lol!

So guess who is making cards, resewing dress rufflesand styling wigs! ME and I'm HYPED!!

UPDATE: I will likely not be continuing this animatic. Least not for a while cause my membership for the video editing program I use has expired.

Kind of sad about it but I knew it would happen eventually. I'm just glad I got one good animatic out of it while I could lol! Maybe one day i'll continue on with it if I get a new membership for the program I used.

But till then this animatic is currently done. But who knows what the future holds!

But perhaps his fate is not entirely sealed; as one Scrybe wishes to set the challenger free. Amused by her determination, Leshy is willing to let the man go free, provided she can triumph over the challenge he imposes?

The question is will she succeed? .....................................................................

So, ya'll remember when I made this drawing back in September 2023:

Well for a while I've been wanting to make an animatic based of the song that inspired this drawing! Only back in 2023 I was really burnt out from College. But now I recently had the energy to work on the animatic!

I plan on working to finish this by adding in all the other scrybes from the game as well as the Bone Lord and Woodcarver being introduced as the Gods in the song. But that may take a while lol! This is all just a fun little AU idea I came up with and will work on it when the mood strikes!

I swear every time I draw grimora I make her dress more and more detailed and elaborate. And ya know what, I'm very happy with that! Grimora deserves to be fancy!!

I am defiently going to color this at some point in the future don't know when but I will lol!

Small Grimora Head canon

Does anyone else think that Grimora likes to knit and crochet stuff? Like I can imagine that when winter rolls around you will find her spending her time knitting a scarf or making little crochet plush skulls and stuff. Just a fun little activity she does to keep herself busy and her hands moving when she isn't writing out epitaphs or playing cards with challengers.

I also like to think each Scrybe has some kind of scarf, hat or gloves that were knitted by Grimora well before the events of the game and that some of them still have said item but like that they don't cause they don't want others to know.

Does anyone else like think about this? Like: Powerful Scrybe of the dead that can wipe out your cards and turn them into zombies in an instant! Just being a happy gothic gal that likes to knit in her spare time. Please let me know if you also think about this sometimes! I can't be the only one right!?

... Evil Juno..just...what if I made a design for what Juno and her shadows would look like if they were evil. Would anyone be interesting in seeing that!?

Because I've been listening to clips of one song from Epic the musical on loop for like 30 minuets and now I have the urge to just make evil versions of my oc's! And not just like outfit designs either. No no no no I mean like actual drawings of each of them as villains! So i must ask again

Rained in: Juno Scrybe of shadows (Open rp/interaction)

Note: Juno goes by she/her and they/them

Rain was either good or bad weather depending on who you ask. For some the rain was dreary, gloomy or a nuisance. Some find the rain to be a bother that can ruin plans in an instant. Others may find the rain to be calming, a natural splendor to help water plants, or a nice excuse to stay indoors. For Juno a rainy day meant a day where she can stand outside.

Because of her sensitivity to sunlight venturing out during the day was always something she needed to proceed with caution. But when it rained, she could sit out in the porch that wrapped around her house in the middle of the day without the need to transform or cover herself in a long cloak. And she took every chance she could get, even if it meant throwing odd her sleep schedule.

So the moment the sky grew gray and the rain started to fall it was no surprise that the Scrybe of shadows could be found on the front porch of her home. Sitting at a small table with tea as she watched the autumn rain fall. Finally able to see all the reds and oranges of the trees without the need of a lantern. Simply enjoying the rainy day when she notices something.

Down the central path that lead straight through the islands expansive garden and to the gates was a person. Ducking under one of the few pavilions that lines the path to stay protected from the rain. At first she thought it was one of her shadows but she recalls how all of them are in the house sleeping or relaxing. This leaves her confused and makes her stand up squinting slightly to get a better look at the person when she notices it wasn't a shadow at all but a visitor.

Eyes widening she realizes that they must.have been venturing to her island when the rain started and got stuck with no umbrella. Worried that they'll catch a cold the Scrybe of shadows grabs her umbrella. Opening the large accessory before heading over to the person, bringing a spare cloak with her incase they were freezing.

It doesn't take long for her to reach where the traveler was. Walking under the pavilion she offers the cloak to the visitor without a moment of hesitation. Her citrine eyes carefully examining them as she speaks up on a soft and concerned tone "Seems like the rain decided to thwart your travels today..Are you alright?"

Tea and Chatter (Grimora Open Rp/Interaction)

The isle of the dead was always a lively place. Something one wouldn't have really expected given the residents that live there. But for those who resided there, they always found something to do during the day. For some it was haunting crypts, others it was playing cards, or having tea. But for the caretaker of the land; Grimora work is what always kept her busy.

As a Scrybe she always had new epitaphs to turn into cards, a new meeting to attend or appointments to keep. Yes she had her free time of course but she always liked to make of the most of the bright sun filled hours of the day before resting. There were a number of task she needed to get done throughout the week, but for today she decided to spend some time outside, and tend to cleaning up some of the graves that resided near her crypt.

Rain, dirt, and other natural elements always did a number on tombstones, and the flowers that adorned some of the graves needed to be rotated out for fresher ones. And of course there was always a new grave to dig for some creature. But today, she focused on the cleaning part. Busying herself with pulling weeds, wiping down tombstones and plaques, and changing flowers. Others have offered to do the work for her but she always preferred getting her hands dirty herself. And saw it as her responsibly to make sure every spirit under her care rested comfortably. And today was the perfect day to maintain that duty.

Though the sun was high in the sky the overcast of clouds and cool autumn breeze keeps her from overheating. Allowing her to toil without a care in the world save for the dirt that was caking itself onto her shoes, hands and skirt. "Alright that should do it!" The second item on that list was easy to remedy as she pulls a handkerchief from her dress pocket, using it to dry off her hands the moment she finishes rinsing them off in a bucket of soapy water she brought with her. But the moment she rises to her feet however, something halts her work. Far along the warned down walkway that expanded across her island was a person. She wasn't sure if they were lost, a friend, a foe, or just a visitor because of how far they were. But the that does little to keep her from smiling brightly and calling out to them. Waving to the visitor in a friendly manner as she greets them with a loud warm chuckle.

"Why Greetings! Pardon my appearance I wasn't expecting visitors today! What brings you hear to my little corner of the world dear?"

I've been very busy with college; it was kicking my ass really fucking hard especially this last year so I've been on a long unannounced hiatus. But I'm free!!! I graduated in September and now I'm back!! Because my inscryption hyperfixiation has never died lol!!

I won't be posting constantly since I'm still trying to get back it a rhythm of drawing for myself/for fun. Since I haven't done much of that save for a few projects here and there. While also having to balance working on my portfolio and looking for work.

But overall I'M BACK BUDDIES!!! And that means so is Juno, Her shadows (Eira, Alder and Bernard) and her daughter Freyja! So feel free to send any ask that ya have for them or even for me!
