Headcannon 1 - The End of the line John time to move on.
The picture above is the final pannel of the vertigo hellblazer run.
I personally belive this is a reaction shot with John comeing face to face With death of the endless. I find the idea of john just kealing over of a heart attack or old age ironic given all the BS his gone through to put it off by this point.
Also ive always been curious as to what there conversation would be given some of Johns questionable choices.
Pluse it seems fiting as the serise ends her after covering the vast majority of Johns life.
( i will say I havent finished hellblazer at the time of wrighting this however i thought id share regardless)
