Yeah, apparently some game script writers do it, it's quite useful actually. I worked on the later Russian translations of Megaman X DiVE Global as one of two volunteers. The file I was given also was a spreadsheet.

I did do quite a bit of work for Russian translation as a whole by giving suggestions and catching some mistakes and oddities. The banner for White Day Axl in the Russian language settings also got this fun edit tho, with one of my online nicknames being written on the balloon.

Later had one of the community managers send me the base image over, it was sweet of them.

I think I can share this, since I didn't have a contract and also the game in its Global form with support for Russian language no longer exists. Probably the best memory of DiVE that I have, aside from getting DiVE Armor Axl on launch of JP banner in the first pull and never touching the game again lmao.

Started playing BlazBlue Calamity Trigger recently (my first-ever fighting game, I had not played anything of sort before). Ragna really is Dante from another dimension eh? Dude even has a blue brother with a katana who wants to kill him

Also Rachel's butler is voiced by Louisoix Leveilleur in JP dub, so I guess that guy stopped a giant red moon from erasing the entire continent from the map in another dimention, too.

Ah, and same goes for Carl. He and his puppet sound exactly like Minfilia lol
