So that's where you've been hiding all week. How much homework have you had, Eagle?
Tumblr media
These essays are killing me
I apologize for being missing in action — but homework is only done right when you do it yourself.

"Looking at you like what?" he asked innocently, continuing to smile as he knew exactly the look she was referring to. Jasper knew he had a look when he was with her; it was smile more genuine than he had ever shown with anyone else in his life before. He'd quite honestly tried repeating it in the mirror, but to little success. How she made him feel, act and react was something he couldn't replicate with anyone else. She was different. "I'm just glad you actually came. To be honest I was half expecting you'd back out and i'd be forced to eat all these sweets by myself." he said, pulling a small bag of delicately wrapped lollies he had one of his only muggle friends send to an empty house, unbeknownst to him, where he snuck out at night to get them from the abandoned mailbox.
"They're hand made fruit sweets from this little shop in my old town. Ridiculously sugary, but the best things you'll ever eat." he said with a grin, putting them into the back pocket on his pants. "Don't look at me like that, you'll get one when were there." he said, planting a kiss on her forehead and taking her hand. He lead them slowly further around the lake, his untied shoelace getting on his nerves slightly but choosing to ignore it. The grass was longer here, but silky to the touch. The small field on the other side of the lake closer to the pitch was cut and kept in good condition, over here however the grass and flowers were unruly; natural. He stopped in the middle of a tall patch of grass that stood as tall as his knees. "Yes, this'll do." he said to himself, sitting down on the spot and taking Emme with him, the silky grass surrounding them like a wall.

I'm just not in the mood for school right now. Kinda sucks I live in it though, means I can't escape it.
Did you say something?
Well you’re just a ray of sunshine today, aren’t you?

Jasper knew he couldn't stay here much longer, he either risked being seen by another damn professor doing the rounds or head back up to class now and have no excuse as to why he was late. There was always the option of running now to the place he planned to take Emme, but what was the point if she wasn't with him? Just as Jasper thought of leaving, not really surprised that Emme had chosen to go to class instead, a delicate figure launched herself at his back, arms and kegs circling around him. He had to take a step forward to steady himself, but smiled hugely and allowed a laugh to escape his lips, hands coming up under her thighs to hold her steady.
"Hello to you too," he said over his shoulder, laughing once more as he smiled wickedly and leaned forward, nearly tipping Emme over his shoulder but grinning at the squeal he got from her. Jasper let her legs go and set her down, turning around quickly and planting a kiss on her lips, a hand coming up to tuck her hair behind her ear. "What took you so long?" he asked but quickly dropped the question and instead launched himself at her bag, slinging it over his shoulder and grasping her hand in his. "Oh God he's coming back, come on, run!" he told her, taking off with Emme in tow before they were seen. He lead them round the pitch to the opposite side and then steered them in the direction of the Black Lake, passing the patch of grass which Jasper had seen some of the Quidditch team practicing on, flying in tight circles on their brooms. It just looked dizzying to him. Once he knew they were out of sight, he slowed their pace and turned to Emme, smiling just at the fact she was here.

Jasper had been leaning back against the cool wall or one of the viewing stands by the quidditch pitch for ten minutes now, silently eating a croissant he had taken from the great hall, taking his time. The pastry flaked and covered the think white fabric of his school uniform, some of the crumbs annoyingly getting under his collar and tickling the skin on his neck. He shovelled the last bite in and with an agitated frown, pulled roughly at the top button, shaking the pastry flakes down and out through his shirt. A passing professor, the one who trained all those tragic first years, gave him a strange look as he attacked his own shirt, the look quite clearly implying he should spend more time tucking it in rather than trying to rip it off.
He nodded at the professor as he passed, keeping a cool demeanour as he tucked in his shirt with a slight smile. What teacher would suspect a student or ditching that did exactly what he was told? Or in this case not even told. None. Jasper was on the home stretch, moving about every few seconds down the wall, to the opposite one, out onto the grass, walking about and kicking at the ground. He had to look as though he was occupying himself with something, but it was becoming harder as time passes to come up with new ideas. No doubt the quidditch coach would be making his rounds back soon enough; where was Emme?

It's one of the few things i'm actually talented at. But if you're up for it, Vance, meet me down by the quidditch pitch after lunch.

Oh, and wear shoes you can run in.
That is completely unfair emotional manipulation.

Shame. I guess someone else with a bigger vendetta and the confidence to convince his team mates otherwise can do it.
Tumblr media
Is this how those muggles do it?
If the team let me, I would’ve hexed his arse a long time ago.

I say otherwise. A thousand times over. You're more than just special, you're perfect, so unfortunately you'll just have to get used to that fact being attached to your name.
Tumblr media
People don’t usually say otherwise. Aside from Professors and occasionally James. They don’t count.
