Goodfellas is an Italian restaurant located at the heart of Streetsville in Mississauga. The restaurant specialise in making  wood oven pizza, salad, and Italian inspired dishes. They have wide variety of classic dishes to choose from. I visited there last week with my friends and we ordered personal pizza with prosciutto and arugula and San Marsano sauce on side for $25 which is a little pricey but it was worth dent in my wallet, the dough was crispy and the ingredients are really tasty and fresh, they have great serving portions and pricing is fair. The service is great and the staff is very friendly and accommodating.  The place is very elegant and has an intimate setting which is perfect for special occasions and dates.  I talked to the manager about the interior and decor of the store and i got to know they get all their tables and chairs from Italy which makes the place looks like an elegant restaurant in Italy.  This restaurant is an exceptional food experience to be shared with family or friends and would recommend everyone to go into streetsville and try their authentic Italian Cuisine.

Dim Sum King
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Toronto is a city swimming with hole-in-the-wall restaurants. Dim Sum King is a prime example of this. I was walking through downtown Toronto with some friends when I came across this absolute gem. Located at 421 Dundas St West, if you are a dim sum fan or are curious to try it out, this is a must visit. It is definitely very easy to miss, but that’s part of what makes it so memorable. Despite its location being secluded, the restaurant was still packed with people. This was a great sign right off the bat. My expectations were for it to be a run down establishment, but I was surprised by the fancy interior and great customer service. In case you haven’t been to a dim sum restaurant before, let me explain how it works. Your server gives you a menu and a pencil, and all you have to do is mark each item you want them to bring for you. Each item is fairly cheap, but the price starts to add up. I can’t say it wasn’t worth it, though. Our server was very polite and had a sense of humor. I was planning on giving him a good tip, but his shift ended just as we asked for the bill (saved me a couple bucks). The quality of dim sum is at the top of my list and I’ve been to my fair share of dim sum restaurants. My favorite items being shrimp har gow, pork shumai and the sticky rice wrapped in a lotus leaf. It all tasted authentic and I ended up paying about $25. For the amount of food I ate, I can’t really complain. Unless you live in Toronto, it may be quite the trip to visit Dim Sum King, but that is no excuse to skip this revelation.

King tandoori is popular Indian restaurant located in brampton.King Tandoori has a dream come true for Kulvinder Mann(owner of king tandoori). it has very good service + food here is very delicious. All the workers here are students and all of them are very responsible and polite toward their work. With the addition of multiple tandoor ovens and his own authentic traditional style Indian recipes, which can't be found anywhere else they are confident you will love what they have brought to the table. Gaining in popularity due to the benifits of traditional Indian spices (like turmeric, coriander, cumin and mustard) it is important to them to offer us healthy, affordable, fun and of course delicious food options for us and our family. They have many indian and other continental dishes. They have punjabi desi daal, chicken tandoori, mint chicken tikka, tandoori fish, paneer tikka, chicken seekh kabab, grouper fish tandoori, tandoori broccoli fruit, beers ( corona, kingfisher, cheetah, budweiser and many more. In main course they have paneer pakora per pound, channa bhatura, mint chicken tikka and many more. At the end in the sweet dish corner they have many indian and other sweet dishes including gulab jamun, gajar halwa, ice cream and more. So this is the best place for the food lovers who love indian food . S.S

Bairrada Churrasqueira Grill
Here's yet another dose of Portuguese cuisine. You can find Bairrada on 33 Hillcrest Ave, Mississauga. Here, you will find a variety of top quality food from all parts of Portugal. Their grilled chicken with rice is the typical meal I get, but sometimes switch it up with their fish fillets. As an appetizer, the chorizo sausage is the way to go. It's served on top of a burning fire where you can cook it to whatever colour you prefer (even though it's set off the fire alarm each time I've got it). The bread is also a must have at any Portuguese restaurant. The bar is extensive with a wide variety of different wines to pair with your meals. Consider Bairrada for your next restaurant visit. You may be surprised. -D.D

Hello beautiful people welcome to another blog. In todays’s blog i will talk about my experience at Higher Ground Coffee Co which is located at Old Main St, BellFountain. This small cafe was a great way to relax after a long ride from Brampton to BellFountain. The ambiance of the cafe is very cozy with an antique decor which makes the place more happy and positive. They give you both indoor and outdoor sitting. The place provided us good service and the quality of food we had was really good. The cafe has variety of Coffees, ice creams, sandwiches and many other options to choose from. I had chicken breast Sandwich with pickles and green tea latte, the food was very good and they gave four peaces of sandwiches for $15.00. It is a great place to visit all year round. Higher Ground Coffee Co. is quite pricey but worth going to try what they offer. So if you’re in the area, take a visit to Higher Ground Coffee Company Co.

My recommendation of Leela’s Roti and Doubles is based off of one recent first-time visit so take it with a grain of salt. This gem is located on 900 Rathburn Rd W, Mississauga. Leela’s offers mainly Indian dishes with a few Caribbean thrown in there. One of my favorite dishes is jerk chicken with rice and beans so naturally, that’s what I got. Leela had some big expectations to live up to. It set me back about $10 so that makes it one of the more expensive dishes at Leela’s. The portions are large so I didn’t mind spending the money. I opened the box and my nostrils were consumed by the amazing smell. I saw coleslaw, rice and chicken. It all looked great, but the coleslaw which I had never been a fan of... Until now. It was sweet, creamy and went great with the chicken and rice. Speaking of that, the rice was what you would expect and the chicken was fantastic, and fell apart in my mouth. Not the mention the amazing hot sauce they give you on the side if you’re trying to turn up the heat. As someone who has quite an impressive tolerance to heat, I would not recommend it if you can’t handle some heat. Everything was great and I will definitely be returning soon to (maybe) try something new. Based on how amazing my first experience was, I have no doubt that the rest of the menu is just as mind-blowing.

Looking for enough food to feed the family at a low price? Why not visit Brasas Churrasqueira Rotisserie & Grill on 2385 Burnhamthorpe Rd W, Mississauga? This Portuguese-style BBQ is easy to miss due to its less than prominent location, but is regarded as some of the finest rotisserie chicken by its regulars (including myself). Buy enough food to feed 3-4 people by spending less than $25. My visits to Brasas cost my girlfriend and I just over $20 and feeds us more food than we can eat which allows for us to bring home leftovers to eat the next day. Our personal meal is 1 whole chicken and large fries. Not only is the Chicken made fresh and fries are hand-cut, but you are also given the option to brush them both with their amazing mild or hot sauce. This adds yet another layer to the incredible food they have to offer at Brasas. They don’t only serve chicken and fries though. There is a wide variety of food if you’re looking to try something else. Brasas offers fish, shrimp and ribs for mains as well as potatoes, rice and salad for sides. It has tables for sit-in experiences, but most customers just do takeout. Brasas also offers catering services for events. Not to mention that the staff is also very generous with the portions. Don’t just take my word for it; Brasas has been named “Best Chicken in Mississauga” by Insauga.com for 2 years running! Next time you’re craving Portuguese chicken, take a trip down to Brasas and give your taste buds a new experience!

168 Sushi is an all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant located on 2366 Dundas St W, Mississauga, ON. While Heart Sushi may be the most recognizable name as far as sushi places go, 168 Sushi has given me the superior experience each visit. From the moment you walk in, you are welcomed by enthusiastic staff (which is a refreshing change from the usual robotic service you normally get from sushi restaurants) and a dimly lit atmosphere which makes you feel right at home. Once you are seated, pick up your tablet and order whatever your heart desires. The selection of food includes all varieties of sushi rolls, tempura, teriyaki, noodles, Korean, Thai, Dim Sum and a wide range of desserts. The sushi is some of the best I’ve ever had. My personal favorite rolls being BBQ eel and red tuna rolls. The dim sum is also great, although not as good as you’d get at a specialty dim sum location. Prices for all-you-can-eat range from $5.95 to 18.95 for lunch and $7.95 to $30.95 for dinner. The prices depend on the age group of the customer. Dinner is noticeably more costly, but not without reason. The dinner menu is more vast with options, although not enough to warrant spending the extra money. if you haven’t tried 168 sushi before, I highly recommend giving it a shot next time you are craving sushi. Head down Dundas and enjoy a top-tier sushi experience.

Amaya serves quality Indian cuisine.  Amaya is available around Toronto in food courts, express and restraunts. They offer you the quality of food you would expect to get at a sit-in restaurant, but with the convenience of a fast food restaurant. They serve you different types of nan breads with curries. My regular visits to Amaya with friends have been positive for all of us. The authentic cuisine will give a taste of India with each visit. The restaurant gives you quick service. Amaya is not just about good food, but its about hospitality.
