This little gem turned up in the post today. I backed it from @readonlymemoryvg on Kickstarter in 2021 for that Xmas but better late than never. 😜 Looking forward to giving it a read. I saw a post by @spacethebandofficial saying that their album Spiders came out on this day in 1996 and that sent me down memory lane. That along with Dizzy Heights by the Lightning Seeds were the first CDs I got with the Midi HiFi I got for Xmas that year when I was 10. I remember listening to Spiders and playing Toy Story on the Mega Drive all that Xmas break. This turned up in the post today. It's a book by @bitmapbooks about the history of The King of Fighters series. I've loved these games since I was a young kid. I remember seeing KOF '94 in an arcade in Spain as a kid and being super impressed that you got to pick a whole team of characters! 😂 I played the newest version in the various bars and arcades in whatever Spanish resort we were in over the years and eventually started to pick up the console ports from the PS2 on.
