I'm not sure yet whether this passage will be included in the final version of the story. Perhaps not, but somewhere off-screen, in the early morning hours of the southwestern forests of Jorvik...

The smoke had not yet completely dissipated, and thin pinkish streams seeped from the cracks between the fragments of the rune stone. The air was filled with the heavy, causing dizziness sickly-sweet smell of overripe raspberries, settling on the palate, penetrating the lungs, overpowering the freshness of the morning forest. Two riders in dark green cloaks stood a little distance away, hesitant to step on the blackened grass near the stone.

'The fourteenth,' the younger of them, still a teenager, said gloomily. He squinted slightly, as if trying to protect his eyes from the smoke, 'It's still fresh,' he added quietly.

'Björn?' the younger one called anxiously.

The older of riders was dejectedly silent. Without blinking, he looked at what had been a majestic stone monument the day before, ancient and unshakable. He moved his lips silently, as if repeating the younger rider's words. The fourteenth... The fourteenth red dot on the crumpled map. The fourteenth tear in the invisible cosmic barrier that keeps the two worlds from colliding and the ancient evil from being released. And it was unthinkable. Impossible. And very scary. A cold, stinging wind seemed to blow over his face: only Garnok's Generals were capable of breaking the rune stone, as had happened in ancient times. But according to the elders, even they needed a lot of energy to break even one. And this one... the fourteenth... the fourteenth in a week and a half. What a new force has appeared in these forests?! A force that can withstand the influence of the rune stones themselves!

The older one looked up from the shards and turned to his partner. The whites of his eyes were slightly pink from the smoke.

'They haven't gone far,' he finally said in a hoarse voice. 'We must track them down. Before it's too late. And... Joris... for Aideen's sake, don't stick your head out of the bushes before time, you might need it.'

The younger one giggled nervously. The older one gripped the shaft of the pandorian spear more tightly, and the riders urged their horses deeper into the lightening forest.

It smelled strongly of young, sticky leaves.

Jorvik. A thunderstorm on the horizon

The clear summer sun is shining over Jorvik, but heavy thunderclouds are darkening on the horizon. Fripp says that this is a harbinger of impending disaster. But what if these clouds bring only the most ordinary rain?.. Or is it not?

By the way, speaking of horse people... I recently thought about one of my favorite sso ocs again, and now I can't stop drawing him. This is Holger, he is a pandorian and, by coincidence, is forced to serve Garnok, although he used to fight against it. On Earth, Holger takes on the form not of a human, like Idris, but of a horse.

Although two or three years ago, until I decided what the pandorians would look like in my au, I drew the "earthly version" of Holger in the form of a human, and sometimes I do it now.

There are so many thoughts in my head... I want to come up with a sequel for Holger's story, so that he finally corrects his long-standing mistake. Or at least for something good to happen in his life. So far, I only know his past, which is full of shit 😔

I'm currently drawing a picture with two dogs, but when I'm done, I'll continue to draw a reference for Holger

I like that with these glowing circles around their heads, soul riders look like the ancient pandorian guardians
