Parisian Restaurant Finally Reopens Its Doors After Months of Renovation
Designed by Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku, the New York restaurant Alain Ducasse’s luxury Plaza Athénée has finally reopened its doors after months of refurbishing. A luxurious and glamorous design, the dining room gem is composed of quality furniture stemming from expert craftsmanship. Containing an ethereal element, the presentation is soft. Every curve on the furniture represents delicacy and refined. From its massive glimmering crystal chandelier, stainless steel polished furniture ornated with an unusual domed-shape finish, Alain Ducasse’s luxury Plaza Athénée is an unconventional, yet stunning presentation of glamour.

Vintage Apartment Transformed Into Industrial Space
A 40 year old vintage apartment has been revived by CHI-TORCH for its survival. By consciously combining original details and materials with a minimalist and industrial design, CHI-TORCH has created a chic space, which holds history and a subtle glamour. Some of the rustic elements in the space include its steel furniture, gadgets, unfinished brick-work, herringbone parquet flooring, and aged wood from Taiwan. The worn down aesthetic creates an antiquated look, which gives the apartment a unique feature, yet modern feel with the combination of steel.

Kara Rosenlund House
Stylist and photographer Kara Roselund prides herself in her passion for wanderlust and authenticity. When she photographed her home, she hoped to capture the importance of having an organic, yet stylish living space, much like her brand. Designed by an expansive eclectic taste, one finds traces of industrial, chic, shabby, vintage and contemporary elements in her home. By including wooden and rustic touches and copper colors with the addition of white walls, Rosalund has created a warm yet beautiful home.

Termitary House
Located in Da Nag, Vietnam the Termitary House is both beautiful and functional. Constructed in a tropical area with unpredictable weather changes from stormy weather, strong winds and hight temperatures, the Termitary House is built with baked bricks. Baked bricks are a traditional material from the local area which was used to construct the mysterious ancient Champa towers, which withstand strong winds and maintain a cool temperature in the summer.

Located in Sofia, Bulgaria, Loft 9b was designed by Dimitar Karanikolov and Veneta Nikolova as an industrial attic apartment. Modern and subtly warm the space holds the warmth in its wooden surfaces, vintage touches (ie. the vintage fridge), and modern minimalist furniture

The Rising Shell: Stunning Wooden Chair
Known as the Rising Shell, this stunning range of wooden chairs are fabricated from laminated bamboo. Their architecture and mechanism are inspired by the opening process of a fan. Designed by Robert Van Embricqs, the chairs provide three important elements of home design: beauty, function, and they utilize little space.

CONCEPTUAL ARCHITECTURE | Roman Vlasov
Vlasov’s striking conceptual architecture hits upon contemporary’s most important design features: sharpness, elegance, simplicity, and sleekness. The juxtaposition between nature and the rigidity of a man-made structure accentuate the beauty of the construction. Aesthetically beautiful, Vlasov’s work is efficiently displayed from every angle.
