today has been good so far. i made myself a new routine last night and i’m trying really hard to stick to it. i made sure it wasn’t too much all at once, because i’ve found that when i try to do too much too fast i end up overwhelming myself and doing nothing at all because i’m terrified.

i finally updated all of my masterlists + my pinned, and that feels really great! it’s nice to cross those things off of my miles long to-do list when it comes to blog maintenance. my plan is to do one blog maintenance thing a day in an attempt to keep from overwhelming myself and hopefully form a habit of keeping up with it and keeping it nice and organized. still a lot of work to do, i know :c but i will get there eventually!!

gonna go for a run now and then answer a few asks (i have a goal to answer only ten a day to start—hopefully this will help me get back into the habit of answering them every day as well. i really miss doing that and i know it was beneficial for me and my writing :( again, i will get there eventually!!! slow progress is still progress, right?), and then later i’ll be spending the majority of the night working on a very special (and very late) gift for a good friend of mine. i’m super happy with how it’s turning out so far and i really can’t wait for them to finally get to read it!!!!

i absolutely devoured tommyland AND the dirt in 6 days lmao. i find autobiographies and memoirs SO interesting, especially if they’re about artists (extra points if the artists are messed up). i read half of the heroin diaries last night but i had to put it down today; it was starting to make me feel really weird. hit a little too close to home, i think. i’m going to take a break from it for the rest of the night but i can’t wait to finish it. when vince said that nikki ‘cant do anything just a little bit’, i fucking felt that hahahaha
