Not part of the fic, just an AU where King and Papa Titan actually meet!! ;w; Don't really know how to explain it myself, I was just taking a break and seeing if I could rotate characters and whatever lmao (and it's too based on Gigi's animatic coz I didn't storyboard aksjdfhkj). But the big rip on PT's shirt is meant to be caused by Belos' mold or sumthn idk XD

Might change a lot of things when the official song drops, but the fic is still the priority ;w;

Sooo it's been a while since I last updated Forbidden Friendship :'D

Summer break's been over for about a month now and I've been really busy again. I was only able to update continuously last time coz yup, it was summer. Taking 2 extra classes this sem so, you can already imagine how things might play out :'). I purposefully ended with revealing Takhida's identity so I can improve my writing for a while (especially with being more concise). I'll try my hardest to squeeze in updates throughout the sem. ;w;

Wanted to thank you guys for the 5k+ reads! I really appreciate everyone's feedback too! ;w; And for the new readers, super glad you guys came across it! ^w^

“But yeah, we do,” King smiled warmly. “So, wanna do the honors for the next clue?”

King flipped the journal to the first page with the unraveled text, handing it to them.

The Collector cleared their remaining sniffles and smiled, giving a determined nod.

They started reading.

I have made an exceptional discovery.

Of all the creatures I have studied, never have I encountered a truly unique specimen such as the Star Witch. Quite an intriguing stranger. Their physique is akin to the average witch, but their magic is more potent, bizarre— almost celestial. Hence, how I assigned their first name. Although, they also exhibit a slightly petulant personality.

I have decided to dedicate the rest of this journal to learning more about them. Perhaps with more frequent interactions, I would gain better insight on their origins, and how their magic diverges from the common witch population. I shall input more information to the original page if necessary.

As I continue to catalog these creatures, it dawned on me that I am yet to expound on the specimen I am most familiar with— myself. After all, I as well am a living, breathing, being of flesh and bone. And fur… lots of it. 

I am the heir to my father’s position as chief of our village. It would have been my older brother, but my father has seen a more prestigious opportunity for him, as an aspiring member of King Khronus’s royal guard. And my brother, of course, relishes the idea every single day.

He was also the reason why I decided to cast Illusionist’s Script on this half of my journal. He takes pride in reporting ‘reasons’ for my lackluster performance to our father. Show-off.

I also have a little sister. She is adventurous, stubborn, and has a knack for getting into trouble and then getting away with it. I envy that trait. Nonetheless, she is my closest friend, and the only one who takes a genuine interest in my pastime. We both have the woods as our haven.

You must have inferred by now that being my father’s successor is the least of my concerns. For someone who has always been shunned away for being eccentric, I’m not even certain if I’m fit for such a responsibility. I even have trouble merely looking people in the eye.

I have attempted to explain it to my father before, and he… tries to understand. But the next day, I’m in the training courts again.

But every now and then, I slip into the woods, returning to the wild wonders I feel more at home with. These true majesties of nature, I believe, are underappreciated by the denizens of the Motherland. It is among them, as I have mentioned in this journal's preface, where I find solace.

It is here where I become more acquainted with the Star Witch. And perhaps someday, I may forge a stronger bond with them.

They walked up to the side of the cage facing the eerie tunnel. The Collector reluctantly held the iron bars. As he squinted his eyes, he failed to notice the frost forming around the bars and spreading to his fingertips.

It wasn’t for much longer that they heard growling. It sounded very guttural, as if a cross between squawking and… gurgling?

Two icy blue eyes pierced through the void. Then four, then six…

Until a dozen illuminated.

One of the scenes was a real challenge to write, mostly since it was hard to figure out the sequence @-@ But I hope y'all would like it once it's up ;w;
