Two Curses
It was narrated that Anas b. Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “There are two sounds that are cursed in this world and the hereafter: [حسن] وعن أنس بن مالكٍ رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسولُ الله - صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: "صوتان ملعونان في الدنيا والآخرة: musical instruments at the time of niʿmah (ie: blessing), مزمارٌ عند نعمة، and screaming (ie: wailing and crying loudly) at the time of muṣībah (ie: calamity).” Reported by al-Bazzār and its narrators are thiqāt (ie: reliable). Sincere Advice
And it was reported from a chain to al-ʿIrbāḍ b. Sārīyyah (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood up among us one day and gave us an eloquent sermon by which our hearts trembled and tears came to our eyes. We said: “O Messenger of Allah, it is as though this is a farewell sermon, so advise us.” He said: “I advise you to fear Allah, قال: "أوصيكم بتقوى الله، and to hear and obey the ruler, والسمع والطاعه، even if an Ethiopian slave who's head is like a raisin becomes your ruler. Verily he among you who lives after me will see many differences, فإنه من يَعِش منكم بعدي، فسيرىَ اختلافا كثيرًا، so you must adhere to my Sunnah فعليكم بسنتي، and to the Sunnah of al-Khulafāʾ ʿl-Rāshidīn (ie: the rightly-guided Khulafah), وسنة الخلفاء الراشدين المهديين، تمسكوا بها، cling to them and bite on to it with your molar teeth. Beware of newly invented matters (in worship), وإياكم ومحدثات الأمور، for every invented matter is a bidaʿh (ie: an innovation), فإن كل محدثة بدعة، and every bidaʿh is ḍalālah (ie: a going astray).” I say: THe ḥadīth was reported by Abū Dāwūd, Ibn Mājah, and al-Ḥākim in al-Mustadrak. Muḥammad b. Setup For Failure
From ʿUqbah b. ʿĀmir from the Prophet ﷺ: “If you see that Allah gives the slave what he loves from al-dunyā even though he is disobedient, عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ «عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ: " إِذَا رَأَيْتَ اللَّهَ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - يُعْطِي الْعَبْدَ فِي الدُّنْيَا عَلَى مَعَاصِيهِ مَا يُحِبُّ then that is gradual punishment from Allah.” Then the Prophet ﷺ recited: {So, when they forgot (the warning) with which they had been reminded, We opened to them the gates of every (pleasant) thing, until in the midst of their enjoyment in that which they were given, all of a sudden, We took them to punishment, and lo! They were plunged into destruction with deep regrets and sorrows} [Anʿām: 44] ثُمَّ تَلَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - {فَلَمَّا نَسُوا مَا ذُكِّرُوا بِهِ فَتَحْنَا عَلَيْهِمْ أَبْوَابَ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ حَتَّى إِذَا فَرِحُوا بِما أُوتُوا أَخَذْنَاهُمْ بَغْتَةً فَإِذَا هُمْ مُبْلِسُونَ} [الأنعام: 44]». The Death of a Child
And in the Musnad of Imām Aḥmad from Abū Mūsá al-Ashʿarī that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: When a child of a worshipper (of Allah) dies, Allah says to the Angels: “Have you taken the son of my worshipper?” They will say: “Yes.” Allah will say: “Have you taken the fruit of his heart?” They will say: “Yes.” Allah will say: “So what did my worshipper say?” The Angel will say: “He praised You and said [inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rājiʿūn (Indeed we belong to Allah and indeed our return is to Him)].” Allah will say: “Build a house for my worshipper in Paradise and call it Bayt al-Ḥamd (ie: The House of praise).”

These Are The Times
From ʿAbd Allah b. ʿAmr (may Allah be pleased with him) who said: We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while the people mentioned al-fitnah (ie: trials and tribulations) or al-fitnah was mentioned (to the Messenger) بَيْنَمَا نَحْنُ حَوْلَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، إِذْ ذَكَرُوا الْفِتْنَةَ - أَوْ ذُكِرَتْ عِنْدَهُ، and he ﷺ said: When you find that the people's commitments, promises, and obligations have become corrupt, and their trusts have diminished, and they used to be like this.” And he ﷺ clenched between his fingers. The narrator said: So I stood up towards him and asked him: “What should I do at that time, may Allah make me a sacrifice for you?” He ﷺ said: “Stick to your homes, and hold back from speaking out, قَالَ: « الْزَمْ بَيْتَكَ، وَامْلِكْ عَلَيْكَ لِسَانَكَ، take the truth and leave off falsehood, وَخُذْ مَا تَعْرِفُ، وَدَعْ مَا تُنْكِرُ، and stick to matters which are specific to yourself, وَعَلَيْكَ بِأَمْرِ خَاصَّةِ نَفْسِكَ، and leave the matter which is a general matter for the people.” Aḥmad b. Don't Delay Tawbah
Hastening to repent from sin is an immediate obligation, and delaying it is not permissible. Whenever one delays it, they sin because of the delay. If they then repent from the sin, another repentance remains upon them, which is repentance for delaying the first repentance. Rarely does this occur to the mind of the repenter.

A Convert Woman Living In The Masjid
She [a freed-slave girl] came to Allah's Messenger ﷺ and embraced Islām. قالت: فجاءت إلى رسول الله - صلى الله عليه وسلم - فأسلمت، ʿĀʿishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: “She had a tent or a small room with a low roof in the masjid. She would come to me and speak with me.”

Honouring the Guests
Sahl b. Saʿd reported: Abū Usayd al-Sāʿīdī (may Allah be pleased with him) invited the Prophet ﷺ to his wedding meal, (حَدَّثنَا قتيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ- يَعْني: ابْنَ أَبِى حَازِمٍ- عَنْ أَبِى حَازِمٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، قَالَ: دَعَا أَبُو أسَيْدٍ السَّاعِدِيُّ رَسُولَ اللهِ -صلى الله عليه وسلم- فِي عرْسِهِ، during which his wife, the bride, served them. Sahl said, “Do you know what she served the Prophet ﷺ? She had prepared a drink by soaking dates in water overnight, and after the meal, she offered this drink to him.” Be Salafi
al-Ḏahabī may Allah have mercy on him said: It is authentically reported from al-Dāraquṭnī that he said: "وصح عن الدارقطني أنه قال: “Nothing is more detestable to me than ʿilm al-kalām (ie: the science of theological rhetoric).” I (ie: al-Ḏahabī) say: A man should never engage in ʿilm al-kalām or al-jadal; rather, he should be Salafī (ie: adhere to the way of the Pious Predecessors). Support the Students of Knowledge
Ḥibbān b. Mūsá said: “Ibn al-Mubārak was once criticized for distributing his wealth across various lands instead of giving it to the people of his own city. He replied: “I know of a group of people who possess faḍl wa ṣidq (ie: virtue and honesty). They have pursued the study of ḥadīth and excelled in it. People's need for them is dire, yet they themselves are in need. If we leave them unsupported, their knowledge will be lost. But if we provide for them, they will spread knowledge to the Ummah of Muḥammad ﷺ. I know of no rank more honorable after prophethood than the spreading of knowledge.”

The Description of Imam Ahmad
Muḥammad b. ʿAbbās al-Naḥwī said: “I saw Aḥmad b. Ḥanbal with a handsome face, well-formed, رَأَيْتُ أَحْمَدَ بنَ حَنْبَلٍ حَسَنَ الوَجْهِ، رَبْعَةً، and dyeing his hair with henna that was not too dark. He had black hairs in his beard, فِي لِحْيَتِه شَعَرَاتٌ سُودٌ، and I saw his clothes extremely white. When I saw him, he was wearing a turban and an izār.”

Allah Has Always Had His Beautiful Names
The consensus of Ahl al-Sunnah wa ʿl-Jamāʿah is that He has always been with His Attributes and Names. His eternality has no beginning, ليس لأوليته ابتداء، and His finality has no end. He made istawá on al-ʿArsh (ie: the Throne).
