As of today (23rd November) Stephen Port has been found guilty of the murders of Gabriel Kovari, Daniel Whitworth and Jack Taylor, and also of a range of sexual offences against other men. The jury is still deliberating over his guilt on the murder of Anthony Walgate.
In June 2014 and September 2015 four male corpses were discovered in Barking, East London, three of whom were found in or around the churchyard of St Margaret’s Church. The bodies of Anthony Walgate, 23, Gabriel Kovari, 22, Daniel Whitworth, 21, and Jack Taylor, 25, were all poisoned with lethal doses of the recreational drug GHB.
Stephen Port, 41, has been charged with the murder of the four men. It is alleged that Port found the young men via an online gay dating site, met them and drugged them, then ditched their bodies nearby.
Port, a former chef, has also been charged with 7 cases of rape, 6 cases of administering a substance with the intention of engaging in non-consensual sexual activity, and 4 cases of assault by penetration with a foreign object (3 of which are alleged to have been with a syringe).
Port denies all 29 charges against him. His trial is set for October 4th at the Old Bailey, London.

When Stephen Schap and a woman named Diane met in March 1989, everything seemed perfect. Schap immediately fell in love with Diane and in September 1989 just six months later since both met, they were married. There seemed to be many problems between him and Diane since the beginning of their marriage, supported by the fact that Diane suffered three misscarriages, each more painful for the young married couple. To avoid another misscarriage, Schap then decided to go through a vasectomy. After that decision, Schap did something else that was surprising to Diane: he decided to quit his job and joined the Army. In 1992, he was assigned to work as a helicopter mechanic in Fulda, Germany and took his wife with him. Diane at the beginning seemed to accept the fact that she had to live in Germany, but this quickly changed due to the fact that Schap invested most of the time in his work. Diane became unhappy and frustated and began to believe that there wasn’t any hope for their marriage. When Schap left Fulda in September 1993 for a month to attend a platoon leaders class, she spent some intimate time with one of Schap’s helicoptor crewmans and friends, Gregory Glover and had sex with him. One month later in October, Diane learned she was pregnant with Glover, this led her to split up with Schap. He didn’t accept the fact that Diane wanted to divorce him at the beginning and tried several times to convince her to change her mind. On December 7 Diane was sent to a hospital in Fulda due to pregnancy complications. Since both Schap and Diane were still married, Diane called Schap, with Schap immeditaly leaving his work to visit her in the hospital. He assumed the worst for Diane and was afraid that something could have happened to her. When he arrived at the hospital Diane immediately told him that she was pregnant and that her pregnancy was the result of an affair she had with “someone”, not revealing the name of the father. Schap left the hospital out of shock and was completely distraught about the fact that the reason for her plans to divorce him were indeed because she found someone better than him. He earlier found indications of Diane being unfaithful and already assumed that she had an affair with Glover. Totally devasted by the fact that his wife cheated on him with one of his few friends he had in Germany, Schap in a rush decided to kill Glover. He cut off his head with a knife and left severe stab wounds on his body. Schap then showed up again in the hospital Diane was with a gym bag, pulling out the head of her secret lover, leaving her in a shock. He calmly confessed to the murder of Glover when the police arrived at the hospital.

Peter Sutcliffe attending court on the 14th of April, 1983, a mere two years after his sentencing to give evidence against fellow inmate James Costello. Costello had smashed Sutcliffe in the face with a broken coffee jar, leaving the Yorkshire Ripper needing thirty stitches for multiple cuts and lacerations. This was the first of four attempts Sutcliffe has had on his life since his arrest.

Dahmer’s Victims
I see a lot of posts about how they died (which is fine), but I wanted to make a post about how they lived. Like, what they were like as people. This information was scattered across multiple sources and incredibly difficult to find.
Steven Mark Hicks
1959-1978 (age 18) Steven, who went by Steve, was picked up by Dahmer whilst hitchhiking home from a rock concert. An activity he did often. He was four days away from his birthday, and had promised his parents he would be home in time for his dads birthday dinner. He was described as friendly, and well liked by everyone he met. He was close with his parents (Richard and Martha), and had a girlfriend at the time of his death. His parents were worried he smoked too much. Hicks often wore a necklace, and two bracelets. For thirteen years his parents held out hope he was alive somewhere. Steven was reportedly kind and chatty towards Dahmer.
Steven Walter Tuomi
1962- 1987 (age 24.) Tuomi simply went by Steve. He worked in a restaurant. He graduated from Ontonagon Area High School in 1981. His family reported him missing three months after his death. His grave was inscribed with the message; “We’ll love you forever.”
James Edward “Jamie” Doxtator
March 1st 1973- January 16th 1988 (age 14.) Jamie was a prostitute who’d had a few run ins with the law over this, but unfortunately was often treated as a criminal rather then a victim of sexual exploitation. Some reports say Doxtator was Hispanic, but most say he was Native American. His mother, Debbie Vega, in her only statement to the press on the matter, stated her sons favourite bible verse was “…Forgive them father, they know not what they do…”, but that Dahmer should not be forgiven for his crimes. Both photos circulated in the media were mugshots. A few reports say he was homeless at the time of his death, but official state records say he was living with his mother at the time. His grave is inscribed with the above mentioned bible verse and an etching of a buck and a deer.
Richard Guerrero
1967-1988 (age 21.) A young bisexual man who’s sister described him as a “mama’s boy.” He was last seen on the way to his friends house. His sister protested a Haunted Milwaukee walking tour focused on Dahmer.
Anthony L. Sears
January 28th 1965 - March 26th 1985 (age 24). Known to friends as Tony, Sears was an aspiring model. He worked at a restaurant and had recently got a promotion. His friend Jefferey Connor drove Tony and Jeffrey to Dahmer’s grandmother’s house. Years later he testified at Jeffrey Dahmer’s trial. Connor and Sears had been friends for 3 years and Tony had promised to call Connor the next morning.
Raymond Lamont Smith aka Ricky Beeks
1957-1990 (age 32.) Smith had a daughter who was ten at the time of his death. He often left his family for long periods of time. He had spent time in jail, and was involved in prostitution. His family believed he had died a year prior in a shooting.
Edward Warren Smith
August 2nd 1962 - June 14th 1990 (aged 27.) Known as Eddie, or sometimes “Sheik”. According to some reports he was an acquaintance of Dahmer. He often wore a “turban like headband”. Some say he was estranged from his family, his sister claimed otherwise. She also claimed to have got a call from a man she believed was Dahmer, telling her he had killed her brother. After his death his sister and a lawyer talked about starting a company known as “Jeffrey Dahmer Inc.” where she hoped that she, other victims families, and even Dahmer himself could go into business selling Dahmer merchandise.
Ernest Miller
1967-1990 (age 22.) Miller was a dance student who met Dahmer outside a book store. He wanted to leave his home in Chicago because of the violence. His grandmother described him as a very nice person. Friends described him as outgoing and sociable. Miller’s grandmother claimed she got a call from a man a week after Ernest’s disappearance, chanting “help me”, and later calls of choking and groaning sounds. She believed the caller was Dahmer.
David Thomas
1968-1990 (age 23.) David was the father of a toddler aged little girl. He was on probation for retail theft at the time of his death. The mother of his daughter described him as a devoted and loving father.
Curtis Durrell Straughter
April 6th 1973 - February 18th 1991 (age 18). Straughter lived with his grandmother, Catherine. He was estranged from some of his family members due to his sexual orientation. He had recently lost a job as a nursing assistant and hoped to become a model and earn a University degree. His friend Bernell Howard wrote a song about him after his disappearance. To his friends, he went by the name “Demetra”. His friends were surprised to learn he was among Dahmers victims as Straughter reportedly did not like white men. The mother of Anthony Sears suspects Dahmer claimed to be a professional photographer who could help with Curtis’ modeling career.
Errol Lindsey
1971-1991 (age 19.) Lindsey was a faithful Christian. He played the drums and sang in the church choir. He was described as an outgoing and friendly man, nicknamed by some “Cool Breeze”. He was also a fan of rap music, and lifted weights. His friends said Lindsey rarely drank or went out to bars.
Tony Hughes
1959-1991 (age 31). Hughes was deaf and mute. He was very close with his family. His sister said he knew Dahmer since October of 1989. Recently moved to Madison, Wisconsin with a group of friends after being “shaken” by the murder of his next door neighbour. Hughes had contracted pneumonia as a baby which caused him to lose his hearing. Tony had five siblings and graduated from the Delavan School For the Deaf.
Konerak Sinthasomphone
1976-1991 (age 14.) The youngest of four brothers, Konerak enjoyed playing soccer, swimming and talking on the phone with his friends. He liked to watch Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Tom and Jerry and would draw pictures of the characters. He was excited about learning to drive in the coming years and was passionate about sports cars. Konerak tried to find humour in every situation. Sinthasomphone was very close with his brothers and parents. They had come to America from Laos when he was four years old. One brother, Somsack, had been drugged and molested by Dahmer in 1988, and the family believed Dahmer was in jail. Konerak’s parents have said their sons respect towards adults and authority figures may have been what led to him being lured by Dahmer. Konerak famously managed to escape from Dahmer’s apartment, but was brought back to the residence by police. Konerak spoke perfect english but was reportedly unable to do so at the time, possibly due to the head injury inflicted by Dahmer. (Though his father claimed the officers simply didn’t bother trying to listen to his son.) His brother Anoukone stated nobody could have reasonably thought his brother looked 19, a lie from Dahmer the police believed. The Sinthasomphone’s, including Konerak, were devout Buddhists.
Matt Turner aka Donald Montrell
1971 - 1991 (age 20). Matt Turner was described as bright and articulate. At the time of his death he had run away from home and was living in a halfway house. Turner/Montrell sang in his church’s choir. He met Dahmer at a Chicago pride parade.
Jeremiah Weinberger
1967-1991 (age 23.) Jeremiah had a lot of friends. He worked in customer service. According to Dahmer, Weinberger was exceptionally affectionate compared to other men he’d been with. He survived for two days after Jeffrey Dahmer performed an amateur lobotomy on him. His friends handed out and plastered flyers with his face around town with a toll free number to call with information after his disappearance. Described as outgoing and friendly, he was an amateur artist and kept his things exceptionally organized. He was also concerned with dressing well and always looking his best.
Oliver Lacy
1966-1991 (age 24.) Lacy was a body building enthusiast with a 2 year old son. He was a track star in high school. He disappeared after going to the mall, last seen buying an ice cream cone.
Joseph Bradhoft
1965-1991 (age 25.) The father of three children, he had recently moved in with his brother to look for a job. Bradhoft did have a domestic assault charge against his girlfriend. According to police records, he punched her and threatened to slash the tires of her car. He enjoyed sports and fishing.

Below are links to stream movies based on serial killers and true crime events. Some are good, some are bad, but all are free and should work in every region. I’ve linked youtube as often as possible to keep it easy, and none of the links require any type of signup or download. However, you may need to set addblock allowances or update javascript if you’re not already updated for some of them. This list is by no means exhaustive, so if you have any links you’d like to see added, feel free to submit them to me. Additionally, I checked each and every one of these to ensure they were working and didn’t appear to be wildly wrong, but if any are mislabeled, please let me know politely, as no mistakes were made out of willful ignorance. Concordia cemetery is a huge graveyard in El Paso, Texas, and is the final resting place of over 60,000 people. Amongst the dead are Buffalo Soldiers, Texas Rangers, Civil War Veterans, and early Mormon pioneers.
It is believed that a young Richard Ramirez, the infamous Night Stalker, regularly slept in the graveyard by three tall trees to escape from his troubled home life. Some say that Ramirez performed his first satanic rituals within its gates.
Concordia Cemetery is said to be haunted by both spirits and demonic entities, including a lady in white, and giggling children. Satanists still visit the graveyard leaving bizarre trinkets and the remains of animal sacrifices behind.

Cannibals raped woman in sauna before chopping her up and serving her to party guests
In 2014, two friends, Kirill Nemykin and Sergey Metlyayev, from Novokuznetsk in Siberia, Russia, reportedly invited thirty-one-year-old Nadezhda Avakumova to a sauna where they took turns raping her while she was black-out drunk. When she eventually regained consciousness and realized what was happening to her, she tried to fight off her attackers and threatened to go to the police with the matter. That’s when the two friends beat her to unconsciousness and kidnapped her. They then reportedly locked her in an underground storage cellar at the home of one of the men.
The kitchen where the killers cooked the woman's meat and served it to the guests at the party
The young woman did not stay quiet for long and eventually, started banging and screaming for help. That’s when one of the men took a large knife and stabbed her in the throat, she died immediately. Next, they cut her up and cooked the meat where they then served the meat to party guests once they arrived.
At one point, Metlyayev took her cut-off leg and started waving it around while laughing and offering it to guests. The guests apparently looked shocked but were too “drunk” to care… The party continued…
Later on in the night, the two men packed the woman’s remains in plastic bags, dumped them in bins at the end of the street, and returned to the party.
Both men - whose ages were not given in Russian reports - pleaded guilty to killing the woman and were sentenced to 12 years in prison

On 12 October, 2016, a contractor working at the Sheraton Hotel in Raleigh, North Carolina, made a very unsettling discovery. While renovating a room and moving furniture, he discovered a dark murder confession scrawled on the back of a painting. It read:
“To whom it may concern: Between the years of 2008 and 2010, I would check into this room by special request. And after six or seven weeks of phoning, I would select a victim from a local college or from the apartments adjacent to the windows in this room. After gagging said victim, so as not to disturb the other guests, I would begin the “procedure” with a hint of sodomy. My crimes were far from victimless, however I always committed with them with the attitude of helping the victim go free from this world and helping the community at large. I’ve never been one to leave witnesses but I felt I should leave this account of my life’s work so that someone will understand. Are you the one who will save me?”

On Sunday April 10, 1955, Ruth Ellis committed a crime that would make her the last woman executed in England. Over the years she had a number of jobs, waitress, nude modelling, nightclub hostess, even a brief uncredited role in a movie. In 1953 she became the manager of a nightclub called The Little Club, and this is where she met David Blakely. He moved into the apartment above the club and the two began a relationship. Blakely was a hard drinking man and their relationship was complicated to say the least. They both continued to see other people, and Ruth eventually moved in with one of the others, Desmond Cussen. She continued seeing Blakely, though it was becoming more and more dangerous to be with him. They would violently fight, she even lost a pregnancy after he punched her in the stomach during an argument. So, on Easter Sunday she took a cab and surprised him as he was getting into his car. She pulled out a revolver and shot once but missed, he tried to escape, she shot again and this time he went down. She then walked to his body and emptied the gun, the last bullet missing and ricocheting off the pavement, wounding a passerby. She was immediately arrested and taken to the police station. She put up no fight, confessed to everything, and even passed a number of tests to judge her sanity. She went to trial on June 20th, 1955 at the Old Bailey in London. The prosecutor asked only one question: “When you fired the revolver at close range into the body of David Blakely what did you intend to do?” Her reply: “It’s obvious when I shot him I intended to kill him.” She hadn’t been properly prepared by her defense team for this easily expected question and it was the only thing the jury needed to hear. They took only 20 minutes of deliberation to condemn her to death by hanging.
As soon as she was locked up in Holloway prison the attempts for a reprieve started. Her family and her lawyers tried to get the conviction turned from death to life in prison but there weren’t any sufficient grounds to interfere with the court’s decision. She was going to hang. Her lawyers could think of only one way she might escape the noose, to prove that the murder was not her idea. On the day before the execution she finally told her lawyers the truth. On the weekend of the murder she had been drinking with Desmond Cullen, her live in boyfriend. He had given her the gun and even showed her how to use it. Not only that but the story she told the police at first, that she took a taxi to the crime scene, was false. She admitted that Cullen had driven her. It seems that Cullen had planned the whole murder, probably out of jealousy. Unfortunately for Ellis even after police looked into the story it wasn’t able to help her case, in fact it hurt it. The inquiries showed that her guilt was even greater because the murder had been so premeditated. On Wednesday July 13th Albert Pierrepoint led her to the gallows. Being a professional he had her execution finished in 12 seconds. A bishop visited her before the hanging and she said to him “It is quite clear to me that I was not the person who shot him. When I saw myself with the revolver I knew I was another person.”
After her execution the public began to really see the barbarity of the death penalty. When writing about the execution Sir William Neil Connor, who wrote under the pseudonym of Cassandra for the Daily Mirror, wrote: “The one thing that brings stature and dignity to mankind and raises us above the beasts will have been denied her—pity and the hope of ultimate redemption.” Her case helped strengthen the fight for the abolishment of the death penalty and England had its last execution in 1964, less than 10 years after Ruth.
Pictured above: Ruth Ellis and her victim David Blakely, some shots of Ruth during her modelling years, Ruth and the live in boyfriend who supposedly planned the whole thing Desmond Cussen and some newspaper clippings featuring stories about the case.

Childhood photos of the Moors Murderer, Myra Hindley. Described as a strong character, Myra was a regular babysitter as a teen who got on well with children. However, although she wasn’t described as a violent person by her friends, Myra acted as the defender of her mother against her abusive father. She recalled that she would focus on her fathers leg with the war wound when attacking him, because that was the weakest one.
