Pep (c. 1923 – 1930) was a black Labrador Retriever who was falsely accused of murdering a cat. On August 31, 1924, Pep was sent to the Eastern State Penitentiary, where he received inmate number C-2559 and had his mugshot and paw prints taken. His log into the prison ledger indicates life sentence for murder, a tongue-in-cheek gesture that prompted widespread outrage. Pep was given as a gift from Maine governor Percival Baxter, to Pennsylvania governor Gifford Pinchot who was inspired by Baxters use of dogs in Maine. Pep was only brought to prison to boost inmate morale.

Upon Pep's incarceration, international newspapers seized upon the murder reported in Pep's police record and publicly declared him "cat murderer." Governor Pinchot and his wife Cornelia adamantly denied Pep's murder accusation, calling it a "slanderous and unjustified attack on his reputation" and a "wretched tale." The governor received hundreds to thousands of letters from as far as the Philippines protesting Pep's unfair incarceration and demanding Pep's freedom. Governor Pinchot assured the public that Pep was not a prisoner and lived a good life at the penitentiary running the grounds, chasing rats through prison corridors, and fulfilling his life's mission of becoming a friend to all.

He was put on a diet in 1927 because inmates gifted him too much food. When he became old and tired, he moved to the Graterford Prison Farm, where he was allowed to spend the rest of his days at the home of a retired guard who begged for leave to care for him in his old age. Pep died in May or June 1930 and was buried in a flower bed on prison grounds. A wooden marker was placed on the grave but was later swept away in a flash flood.

"come on... he's our baby, isn't he? let me see him..."
you didn't even know how he entered the house. he was supposed to be in prison.
"he's not your child... you're not his father." you held him closer to your chest, his face covered so that it wasn't visible.
"don't be so rude... you were the one who called the police on me after all! shouldn't you be a bit nice to me?" he started to walk closer, in small steps.
you backed up, you couldn't let him near your child. the baby started crying a bit now. maybe he was hungry?
"you... wait here." you knew he wouldn't leave, so telling him to stay put was your second best option.
"he has my eyes, you know." he called out from the spot he was standing in, while you were in the kitchen, warming up milk. "he looks just like me... it's funny you say i'm not the father."
but you never showed him the baby's face.

Luigi Mangione's notes on his debilitating back injury. Luigi had L5 spondylolisthesis which is a condition where the L5 vertebra (the last vertebra in the lumbar spine) slips forward or backward over the sacrum (the bone at the base of the spine). This can result in pain, nerve compression, or instability in the lower back. In Luigi's case, the L5 vertebra has shifted forward over the S1 vertebra (first sacral vertebra, which is part of the sacrum) due to the pars fracture.
Spondylolisthesis is classified by the degree of slippage, ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 5. Grade 5 would be a complete slippage, where the vertebra falls off entirely. Luigi has a 30% slippage, meaning his injury is Grade 2.
Not much is known yet about how Luigi sustained this back injury--or whether it's genetic--although sources say he experienced back issues since childhood, which exacerbated during physical activity and affected romantic relationships and intimacy. He had a back surgery in 2023, and shortly after, he fell out of touch with friends and family.

AssAssSins! (Marvel Earth 911b)
Featuring BlackWidow, WinterSoldier and Moonknight
Something very dumb and nonsensical I was in the mood to do
That Marvel Rivals inspiration at it again XD
Still have to try Moon Knight, enjoyed Bucky and Nat(altho I wish I could do more melee stuff with her, but that sniper feels like the better option XD ) Can't believe that my first official Earth-911b version of WinterSoldier and MoonKnight was done in a "double cheeked up" joke piece XD

Evan rosier had body dysmorphia.
But not in the way of feeling too fat or too skinny or too thin. No, Evan felt trapped in his body. The sole form of the human body made him feel as if he was choking, wanting to break out of it all the time. When he was a teenager, he thought it would go away once he transitioned. But it stayed with his all the years, even after he had passed as a man all the time. It made him go insane, and at the same time a cold-hearted and genius killer who had no mercy with his victims, because Evan felt as if he didnt belong with the human race and wasnt one of them.
Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

Psychopath Killer~ Case Study #3
Tumblr media
Dr: Do you ever feel violent
Patient: Yes I do
Dr: What do you feel like doing
Patient: Killing people
Dr: Do you still feel like killing people
Patient: Yes
Dr: Describe the feeling
Patient: Well, last March 11th I was hallucinating, I think, and I took a razor blade and cut a man's throat
Dr: Here in the hospital
Patient: Here in the hospital
Dr: That's gruesome, that's horrible
Patient: Yes it is
Dr: You may not ever get out of here
Patient: I hope I never do
Dr: Will you kill again
Patient: Yes, I believe I would
Patient: Chuckles
This dialogue reflects a highly concerning exchange between a doctor and a patient who exhibits violent thoughts, intentions, and actions.
Patient's Psychological State
Violent Ideation: The patient openly admits to violent desires and intent, including killing people. This indicates serious underlying psychological disturbances or disorders, such as psychosis or antisocial behavior.
Hallucinations: The patient references a hallucination that led to a violent act (cutting a man's throat). This suggests a potential break from reality, often associated with psychotic disorders like schizophrenia.
Lack of Remorse: While the patient acknowledges the gravity of their actions ("That's gruesome, that's horrible"), they express no regret and even accept their confinement ("I hope I never do [get out]"). This may point to a lack of empathy or deep resignation about their condition.
Risk Assessment
Danger to Others: The patient's admission of past violence, ongoing homicidal thoughts, and willingness to act on them ("I believe I would [kill again]") suggests they pose a significant threat to others if not closely monitored.
Self-awareness of Danger: The patient seems aware of their violent tendencies and even accepts their need to remain institutionalized, which may be a small protective factor in preventing further harm.
Doctor's Approach
Calm and Direct: The doctor maintains a composed demeanor, asking probing and clarifying questions to assess the patient's mental state and risk level.
Nonjudgmental Responses: While the doctor labels the act as "gruesome" and "horrible," these remarks do not appear judgmental but rather aim to gauge the patient’s emotional response, which was minimal.
Recommendations
Immediate Action: The patient should remain in a secure facility with strict supervision to ensure the safety of staff and other patients.
Comprehensive Evaluation: A detailed psychiatric assessment is needed to diagnose and determine the underlying causes of the patient's violent behavior, including potential psychotic disorders, personality disorders, or neurological issues.
Treatment Plan: This could involve antipsychotic medication, psychotherapy, and possibly a forensic evaluation for legal implications of the confessed violent act.
Ethical Considerations
The patient's admission to a violent crime ("cut a man's throat") presents ethical and legal dilemmas. The doctor must balance patient confidentiality with the duty to report a crime and protect others from potential harm. This situation likely requires involvement from law enforcement and legal authorities.
In summary, this dialogue highlights a dangerous individual who requires urgent, intensive psychiatric care and legal intervention.

I killed someone and had to act like everything was ok and chill in the group I was in while I disposed of the body. At one point I had to act like one of my fish had ended up in the neighbors yard because I accidentally threw the head in there.

David Duchovny and Lili Taylor in The X Files (1993) Mind's Eye
S5E16
Mulder and Scully assist local police when they suspect woman they arrested at a murder scene, Marty Glenn, is the murderer. The problem is that the woman is blind. Mulder finds it all very unlikely That a woman who has been blind from birth could actually commit the crime in question. Matty knows a great deal about the crime scene and can describe much of it in detail however. Testing confirms her blindness but Mulder begins to think that she is "seeing" things in a far different way than a normal human being can.
*Writer Tim Minear deliberately chose to make his blind protagonist Marty rather dislikeable as most interpretations of blind people tend to make them rather noble.
