Mª Jose grew up in the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War (1930); she left Spain around her teens as the dictatorship was starting and winded up in Mann. Co as she was basically the Spanish version of Jane Doe (name wise); due to that upbringing, she learned to work with little. The Cook makes regular meals for both teams (BLU and RED) but could also make chemical recipes for Mann. Co. Regarding the teams, she basically housekeeps their bases alternating between both (and different bases/maps) making her almost like the “mom” or “grandma” of the teams (even thought she would be around 40 as of the time of the games (circa 1970)).

Now, it is up to YOU, dear voter, to decide who DOMINATES in this competition and deserves their sweet, sweet paycheck!

We've got Snipers, Trappers, Medics, Cyborgs and Androids, Administrative and GRN team members—we've got a—uh—an inordinate amount of Italians... (What was it, seven? Eight?...) Ahem. Well. A plethora of mercenaries to choose from!

Ok so a little cultural (and familiar) context

In Spain, for New Years, you eat grapes at the same time as a bell ringing 12 times (12 grapes, 12 dings) but before that it dings like 4 times which we call Los cuartos (the fourths) and every year we do the joke/point out that it’s that and not the actual bells yet when it happens cuz one of my uncles would always point it out.

Be careful with the grapes/lacasitos/whatever you eat and have fun!

I really can’t draw much for now because of class stuff but I got into the tf2 OC contest and yeah, already put her ref sheet before but formal introduction is in store

Backstory:

Mª José was born in northern Spain (Asturias) in 1930, due to growing up in the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War she learned to work with little. Around her teens, she left Spain to go to America, looking for job like others around her but due to issues surrounding Franco’s dictatorship; somehow winding up in Mann. Co (probably regarding how she’s a stereotypical old Spanish lady, her name being the Spanish equivalent of a Jane Doe). She would be around 40 when the canon takes place.

She works as the cook (and housekeeper) for both teams, alternating between them (and their different bases), not only cooking meals but cooking chemical products too. She’s the “mom”/“grandma” of the teams, their caring (and a little harsh) Spanish grandma.

FRANCE HAS REACHED THE REQUIRED NUMBER OF SIGNATURES ON THE CITIZEN'S INITIATIVE AGAINST CONVERSION THERAPY IN THE EU!!

ONE COUNTRY DOWN, SIX TO GO!!

We also need still quite a few signatures in order to reach the one million required.

As to date, the six other countries with the most signatures are:

Spain - 38.72%

Finland - 30.31%

Ireland - 24.86%

Netherlands - 24.15%

Germany - 23.54%

Belgium - 23.09%

So yeah, still a long way to go, but we ARE slowly getting closer. Don't stop now! Don't let this stay within the community, either, if you have any friends or family who are open to queer rights, get them to sign, too!
