Armani & Marcel, The Decoys

When your job description is to be as obnoxious as possible, obviously you’re going to send in a clown! Armani is a Decoy, which means his purpose is to get on the field and draw as much attention to himself as possible. Sure, it probably means he gets killed frequently, but isn���t that half the fun?

Personally, Armani is rough and over the (big)top. He’s Italian, too. If that helps. If it doesn’t ignore that part. He’s got the flowery language exaggerated expressions of a performer and absolutely none of the social tact. He’s loud and in your face and simply does not care! Take him or leave him, baby! (Please take him.)

Marcel is just a guy. A little man. His mime-specific approach to the decoy class means he’s a lot less loud shouting and japes, and a lot more inconvenient tricks and hiding where you just can’t see him. He saves his breath unless he has the chance to be really funny. As a person, Marcel is eccentric and expressive. Cartoonishly so. A man of few words, since said words can only be spoken when he pulls the string on his back, he normally conveys his thoughts through actions instead. He’s annoying, and he wants you to know that specifically. He’s charming enough that he can make people forget how obnoxious he is just long enough for whatever stunt he pulls next to come out of nowhere. Ain’t he just so charming?

Mª Jose grew up in the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War (1930); she left Spain around her teens as the dictatorship was starting and winded up in Mann. Co as she was basically the Spanish version of Jane Doe (name wise); due to that upbringing, she learned to work with little. The Cook makes regular meals for both teams (BLU and RED) but could also make chemical recipes for Mann. Co. Regarding the teams, she basically housekeeps their bases alternating between both (and different bases/maps) making her almost like the “mom” or “grandma” of the teams (even thought she would be around 40 as of the time of the games (circa 1970)).

Happy New Year 1971 2025!

Ok so a little cultural (and familiar) context

In Spain, for New Years, you eat grapes at the same time as a bell ringing 12 times (12 grapes, 12 dings) but before that it dings like 4 times which we call Los cuartos (the fourths) and every year we do the joke/point out that it’s that and not the actual bells yet when it happens cuz one of my uncles would always point it out.

Be careful with the grapes/lacasitos/whatever you eat and have fun!

you know what? fuck It! dropping off my art here, it's finally time.

This, is Ayrra (he/they), also known as Echo. A Hollow Knight OC I made as the bodyguard of the joyous Elykra made by @hxy0k. They are of a hematophage bug species and they love hunting. They are extremely tall and fast, climbing at equal speeds as they can run. Their limbs have really high freedom of articulation and their legs are categorized as a weapon.

This is The Butcher (she/her, although no players know this), the ""BBEG"" of my currently running The Walking Dead TTRPG campaign. Behaves like a violent vigilante, is known for ending the lives of raider group and others that she deems unredeemable criminals and putting them up in gruesome displays as 'warning' for others. Because of the violent nature of her work, the fact she does it alone and her perceived "omnipresence" as she appears and dissappears without rhyme or reason, she has become the boogeyman of Atlanta. While my players have had some run-ins with her already, they haven't become targets yet because they are playing the standard good morality survivors who avoid all trouble and only kill in self-defense for now (that will change knowing their playstyle on Pathfinder ...and the fact that they want to kill her for her armor.)

These two are Pythi (pronounced Pee-zee, he/him/they/them) and Grimm (previous name Marcus, he/him) who are both recurrent NPC's on the same world I use for my Pathfinder campaigns (of which i'll elaborate more on another date-!)

Pythi is a fairy with 200 years of experience travelling the world, with an innate knack for magic, an ever growing curiosity for the world and an unnending desire to make friends (even if he risks kidnapping sometimes).

Pythi has cool quirks such as: their physical appearance morphing to better adapt to the season/environment they are in, such as growing moth-like fur collar and braces during the winter (like in the image), or their smell being a pleasant scent the person associates with the season or that his skin feels more like a soft fluff to the touch.

Marcus was a devoted paladin of Ertram (the god of punitive justice, laws and order) and a powerful one at that, his life was cut short when he tried to save a village from a wizard cult and failed, dying in the process.

But, before he drew his last breath, he swore revenge upon his murderers, and so, he was risen back up again from the dead to finish what he started, as a skeleton. He doesn't know if the entity that rose them up is his god, or another entity, but It promised vengeance and his human form back if he managed to stop the cult and prove himself worthy of his former powers oncemore. As a parting gift, the entity left a kind of familiar, a big snake to keep him company (and to have a line of communication with him, as the entity can speak through the snake). He named the snake Simon and keeps It inside his ribcage during travels (which he pads heavily for the snake's comfort)

The Cartographer

The Cartographer, or Carty for short, ironically seems to be very lost. Due to the fact that thinly veiled newspaper ads for hired killers have a lot in common with listings for postdoc positions, this mild-mannered geographer has decided "well, this might as well happen", and become a mercenary. The job market is rough, and hey, turns out wanton murder is a great way to vent the stresses accumulated from academia… okay, maybe he wasn't as mild-mannered as he thought.

Carty is a support class with a rather slapdash kit-- improvised weapons, petty traps, and he's somehow found a way to hit people with rolled up paper maps hard enough to deal fatal damage. He's trying his best. Vote for him because god knows where else he's going to find a job in this economy.
