I saw one on ebay not too long ago. I recommend also trying Den of Angels, Resinmarket (https://bjd.circlly.com) Facebook, and Instagram as well. Hobby’s more spread out now then it was a few years ago.
So it’s 2019 and I found my way back to this hobby after taking like a 4 year break. CP/Delf Soonys are no where to be found and I’m super heartbroken about it! Like did all soonys fall off the face of the earth? No one’s selling them or posting them. I would kill for one. Shes my dream doll. 😭

Building a versatile room for your bjd pictures.
I posted this in the Granado themed thread on Den of Angels, and I thought I’d add it here too for those who’d like an insight on how I built the “Treasure Room” for this year’s @doll-granado photo contest. Maybe those tricks can help you build your own bjd space for immersive photos: The room I built can be taken down to pieces; Most of it is made of cheap foamcore sheets. - So you have the walls, which are two separate pannels of 5 black foamcore sheets glued together with hot glue. In the photoshoot I simply covered them with fabric to simulate a tapestry. - Then I built two different set of shelves in black foamcore, (foamcore and hot glue are really easy to work with and aren’t expensive.) Those two pieces are the most difficult to store afterward, but depending on what you make as furniture, you can use them to store your own stuff - The practical part of using foamcore is that you can pin stuff in it. This is how I made those little picture frame stick to the wall, the mirror, the unicorn tapestry and the curtain. When you’re done with your shooting, or if you need the space, just unpin everything and put them away. So you have a base set made of foamcore, and by changing the fabric on the wall and the deco around it, you can morph it into many different room design. Now let’s add a Granado face to this post: Funny fact: The two artwork on the right are actual paintings that were stolen and NEVER RECOVERED to this date “Poppy Flowers” by Vincent van Gogh, and “The Concert” by Johannes Vermeer Guess who’s the guilty party? hehehe

May I ask if anyone knows what is the correct filter (3M company, but in European numbering) to use for spraying MSC? I asked at the shop selling various protection material, but they tried to tell me I don't even need any and I think the one they sold in the end me is too weak.
I’m not sure what the european standard is, but the minimum grade recommended I believe is 95N. I personally would go higher. Shoot for a mask graded for Aerosols. There are disposable masks you can use that are cheaper, but if you plan on doing any kind of sanding or more faceups, I find this to be a worthwhile investment. The silicone is also way more comfortable then the cotton masks which tend to get hot over time.
This is the mask I’m using: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007JZ1N00/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1

HI can you suggest any shops with great quality BJD but with kind of affordable price?thank you in advance :)
My US based recommendations as generally Mint on Card, Junky Spot and Denver Doll. There’s a few other nice shops as well like Fabric and Friends. I also like Legend Doll (located in China) and Alice Collections. There is some nice sellers on ebay, but due to the influx in recasts, it’s become a bit difficult to navigate for newer collectors. If it’s too good to be true, it probably is. Find something you like, and don’t be afraid to ask questions. The community is your friend :)

#Bjd #wig #storage #3.0 I need to buy more magnets so I can put up the rest of my #MSD wigs. The best part is that I can open my door and not worry about the wigs getting hit (it auto stops before touching them)

#howtobjd #bjd #bjdtips #rement
Does anyone know if rements are to small for bjd props? Or at least know of a really good place for props? I know rements, or as far as I know, don’t have any instruments but if someone knows a really good place for a violin prop that would be great!
