Probably Lucy. I’ve always been called ‘tomboyish’ like her. I’m not really sure of myself and I lose it under pressure.

Day 24 - What You Would Have Liked To Happen In Another Season?
I was pretty satisfied with the ending. It was only true to the show that it end on a cliffhanger. I think Lucy would have definitely disappeared. Harry would totally freak out and he’d have to use the past version of the group to get back to roughly his own time but instead he’d end up 3 days before they disappear. This time he’d have the knowledge of what to avoid and he’d do everything to stop what happened happening again.

Probably Simon and Chrissy sitting down for their last meal together D’: It just really showed how far they’d come in their relationship. They have such a natural rapport with eachother and I just freaking love them and it’s so sad becasue you just know what’s coming later in the episode!!

30 DAY JEOPARDY CHALLENGE
Day 21 - Sort The Other Characters Into Hogwarts Houses
Gryffindor
Melissa - She loves adventure and she’s pretty brave to go out all on her own.
Ruby and Anne Taylor - They were very difficult to place. I considered ravenclaw but they’re pretty rambuncious. They seem to love being part of adventures and even went camping on their own.
Hufflepuff
Dr. Sam Sharpe - It’s so temping to put her into Ravenclaw because she’s a doctor but she’s very kind and she has a desire to help others. She has a thirst for knowledge as well, but not at the expense of another person’s wellbeing. She’s loyal to Stanich, despite being reluctant to be.
Ravenclaw
Gerry Simmons - He’s another difficult one. I can say for sure he’s not a Gryffindor. He doesn’t have a great sense of leadership abnd he finds it difficult to assert himself and maintain authority over the group. I thought about Hufflepuff but then I remembered that even when they were in a desperate, life-threatening situation, he still demanded they record any possible extraterestrial sightings. He needed to prove he was right and he wanted to find out as much as he could about the aliens.
Edwina ‘Ed’ Murr - I’m not sure about this one but she had quite a bit of knowledge about, as she calls them, ‘the min mins’ and she seemed to want to find out as much as she could. She is also eccentric.
Vic - He knows a lot about the caves and the Sky Gods. He’s travelled the world to study cave painings. He’s also very wise.
Slytherin
Helen Stanich - She will do whatever it takes to get what she wants, and, as Sam says, she doesn’t always think about the people involved. She’s cunning with the way she goes about playing the people she works for and not revealing her true motivations to the group. She’s a bit like the Snape of the show; you never know what side she’s on.
The Head Steward - This dude will stop at nothing to hurt others, therefore fullfilling his duties. He hurts people just for the fun of it, a bit like a Bellatrix-type Slytherin. And he’s pretty cunning with the way he goes about trying to make Harry and Lucy split.

30 DAY JEOPARDY CHALLENGE
Day 20 - Sort The Characters Into Hogwarts Houses
Gryffindor
Harry Hastings - Harry is kinda difficult. His secondary house is definitely Hufflepuff and season one Harry felt very much like a Hufflepuff with how sweet and loyal he was and his love for cooking and food in general. But by the second season Harry showed himself to be the Neville Longbottom of the group. He grew into a true Gryffindor. He became a brave leader for the group, while still maintaining his adorable charm.
Lucy Jeffers - I also think Lucy’s secondary house is Hufflepuff. She’s extremely loyal and kind. In season one she was an obvious Gryffindor- brave and ready to jump to whatever difficult task came there way. By the last season she was very scared but she managed to push through that till the end like Ron because that is what she values.
Hufflepuff
Leon Duffy - Leon may not be particularly patient but he is very loyal to Shona. He sticks with her through thick and thin despite all that they have to face. I nearly put him in Gryffindor because he is certainly brave and will jump into things head first but I believe he does it out of loyalty to the group. Not to mention he’s super sweet and loves food!
Shona Campbell- Shona is a Hufflepuff through and through. She’s kind, extremely caring, dedicated to helping people and she works hard to make sure everyone is safe and well. I also associate Hufflepuffs (my house) with sensitivity and she certainly is sensitive. Secondary house: Ravenclaw because she always got high marks in school.
Ravenclaw
David Hedges - David is such a freaking Ravenclaw! He’s so smart it’s mind blowing. The dude can look at a area of land and name all the plants and wildlife native to it. I think his secondary house is Hufflepuff because he is very caring but knowledge is what drives him.
Sarah Fitzwilliam - This girl is wise beyond her years! Even Mr. Simmons relied on her to take care of the rest of the group. She’s a little eccentric and is definitely the mom-friend of the group. If I needed to trust someone to look after some high school kids who were trapped in the bush for God knows how long, I’d put my faith in Sarah. Secondary house: Gryffindor because she is pretty courageous. Thinking about it, I guess that’s why Sarah and David dissappeared when they did; take away the Ravenclaws (or Hermione-like Gryffindor’s) and it all falls to doo doo xD.
Slytherin
Simon Tudor - Such a Slytherin. I feel like he’d consider himself a Gryffindor because he’s all about being brave, daring and he jumps into things head first but underneath it all he admitted a few times that he’s not brave. It’s all an act to hide his insecurities that probably stem from being the youngest of four brothers. I think Gryffindor is for sure his secondary house but Simon starts out being all for himself (not saying Slytherins are selfish but some are self-motivated) despite claiming to be a team player. He tries to force his way into leadership, even if it means gaining authority over his teacher. He’s hot-headed (not that Slytherins are) and likes to have his own way. He’s very cunning when it comes to betraying the others.
Chrissie McAteer - Another Slytherin for sure. She is very much self-motivated in the beginning and it’s almost as if no one other than herself and Simon exist. She becomes super resourceful by the second season. I can’t even begin to think what her secondary house would be as she’s such a Slytherin but she does have a little Gryffindor in her by the time she dissappears.

WIP for a drawing of the characters from CBBC’s Jeopardy!
It was a nightmare trying to get them all in without one overtaking the other, but the hard part is done now, at least!
I hope I got the features down somewhat…. Chrissy and Harry were probably the most enjoyable to doodle down.

30 DAY JEOPARDY CHALLENGE
Day 25 - Favorite Theory?
I’m gonna say two theories. I’m not sure which of these is my favourite but the first one is that, when Harry and Lucy travel through the portal back in time to where it all began they travelled to the wrong timeline or an alternate universe. There are a few things that give credence to this theory:
Some of them are all wearing very similar but also different clothes than they were originally wearing on what is supposed to be the same day as Mr. Simmons announced they’d be going on the trip.
Shona’s character is the complete opposite of how she’s always been. She was no way good friends with Chrissie when the series started out. Shona is kind and extremely caring but when they supposedly travel back threw time she goes as far as calling Lucy “loopy”. Real Shona would never do that. And I feel like some of the others, such as David and Sarah wouldn’t have reacted the way they did to Harry and Lucy’s arrival.
The fact that Lucy gets red-eye proves that they can’t have changed their own past. There is no way the group in the final episode would have gone to Australia after seeing all those tapes. If they had prevented everyone from going on the trip, Lucy would never have gotten the red-eye virus in the first place.
The fact that there are versions of Harry and Lucy from what is supposedly their own past suggests that following the advice of the aliens didn’t turn out as planned. Or maybe the aliens knew all along that, like Lucy said to Simon in 3x09, “If Sarah and David try to save us they'll be changing the past. No one can change the past. We can only try to change the future.” And Lucy’s been pretty good at predicting things. The girl literally has prophetic dreams. We don’t know when or if they stopped.
The second theory is the ‘Lucy’s Dream Theory’. Lucy is a character who is very much connected to dreams. As mentioned above she is the main character to have prophetic dreams in season 2. I remember how vividly she dreamed of Mr. Simmons’ whereabouts. What if her dreams are reality and reality is actually her dreams. I could go on so many tangeants with this theory and I need to think it over more.
If this is true then I believe the dream started just before Mr. Simmons announced they’d be going on a trip- in that case the scene at the end would be the real announcement. Perhaps Lucy never had friends so she imagined having them. As the story comes to a close she gets more and more panicky perhaps because she’s waking up and at the end, when she gets red-eye, that could symbolize her either waking up or choosing to retreat into her dream world and stay there.
The thing that really makes me think that it all might be Lucy’s dream is when she has a breakdown and says: “I was just trying to think. But it wouldn’t work...Have you ever woken up from a dream, and as you open your eyes, somewhere between asleep and awake you feel like it’s real?” And then Harry says, “Yeah, and you panic ‘cause you don’t know where you are.” And then Lucy continues, “That’s exactly it. Except now, instead of being asleep and feeling like it’s real, I’m awake and feel like I’m dreaming.” And later Harry says, “Maybe none of this is real. Maybe they just want to make us believe it is.” Could her subconscious be trying to tell her something here?
