i made a shield mug :)

my mom recently celebrated her birthday, and invited my sibling, their partner, and me to a porcelain painting workshop.

quick explanation: you get to pick from a range of porcelain items that are still raw, aka not glazed yet, and you get to paint whatever you want onto them, before its covered with a transparent glaze and put into the oven.

i made a shield/quake mug, but i think the quake symbol infused a little too much vibrational energy, because while it baked the bottom ring unfortunately shattered. the shop gave us a generous coupon though, and we got a kitsunagi kit and sealed the broken part, so its all good :)

im really happy with how it turned out, and i think i have a new favorite mug now :D

An extremely rare glitch can occur in Mario Kart 64 whereby racers will become "entangled" with each other if one of them bumps into the other at a highly specific angle.

In the footage, the CPU-controlled Luigi bumps into the player-controlled Toad and ends up "dragging" him for several seconds to the finish line. During this time, the player has no way to control Toad and is entirely beholden to Luigi's movement.
