Mlp Fim Nextgen: Timberstrike

Personality/Background:

The by-product of the “short” reign Sombra had over the Crystal Empire, Timberstrike!

During his initial reign, Sombra had wanted an heir to take over his newly acquired throne. It was no surprise that he wanted his childhood friend, Radiant Hope to carry his supposed heir. After forcing a marriage on her and its consummation, the Empire was invaded by Celestia and her forces. Putting a halt to any plans when the Empire disappeared.

When the Empire resurfaced and was freed 150 later it was thought that all traces and Sombra were gone, reduced to a memory. So imagine the surprise when Radiant Hope realized she had fallen pregnant.

Not wanting everyone to know she was carrying His spawn, she hid the entirety of her pregnancy right up until it was born. From the start, she didn’t want the kid, and after the birth, it only sealed it. Witnessing it open its eyes to see the unnatural red color, His color, she knew that her own fate would be sealed along with it if she would keep it on the off chance. Wrapping the newborn in a towel, Radiant Hope left the child in an alleyway in the early morning hours. She then left, packing some of her belongings and hitching a ride on the first train out, not looking back.

After a few hours, and the sun having been risen in the sky, the child finally begun to cry out. When found by a group of guards doing their rounds, it was immediately taken to the local orphanage hoping its mother or someone would take care of it.

For the next 15 years, the child was known as Ruby, for her ruby-red eyes. Never being adopted after no parent claimed her as theirs, she was released from the orphanage, being deemed “too old” for adoption. She was given a small coin purse with just enough money to last her a week.

After that, she had gotten in the habit of taking what she needed. Be it through theft, bartering, or favors, she had begun to make a name for herself. Still no cutie mark and her strange-like appearance amongst all the crystal-like ponies, she stood out regardless.

 It only got stranger from there, after a few years she had become stranded outside the Empire in the frozen wastes. The only way for her to survive the harsh cold was to kill one of the larger creatures out there and climb inside its carcass. Using its and her body heat to stay alive.

After making it back inside the Empire, covered head to hoof in blood and innards, she made her way to the small home she acquired a few years before to get herself cleaned off, ignoring the many onlookers as she pass by. Once inside and clean did she realize that her flanks were no longer bare, but instead picture a hunter's knife with hints of the use of dark magic emitting off of it.

For the next 18 years, she made a living off of animal hunting and poaching, renaming herself Timberstrike after her many successful hunts of Timberwolves and being known as the Terror of Beasts.

Relationships:

Radiant Hope: She greatly distances herself from her mother after discovering her heritage. After knowing she was purposely left and unwanted due to her biological father for whom she now is in contact with, she has absolutely no respect to Radiant Hope. Especially after discovering that she had a whole new family after abandoning her.

Sombra: She isn’t that close with her father. She knows of what he had done in the past and how she even got here in the first place because of it but she won’t hold that against him. She wasn’t there when it happened so she doesn’t feel like she has a say in it anyway. She does keep in touch with him however. Knowing that she was at least wanted by him does mean something to her.

Twilight: She’s indifferent to her Stepmother. She is kind of the reason why her father isn’t a power crazed dictator anymore so she’s glad for that. Means she can do what she likes instead of being some heir for an Empire that didn’t even like her.

Jr, Krystal, Nighting Gale, Onix Star: The half-siblings from her Father. She doesn’t dislike them, she didn’t even know they existed for a while. They each can get on her nerves from time to time like most sibling do. She tends to hang out with Nighting Gale and Onix Star when she visits due to their more calm and laidback personalities.

Gypsy: Has only met her a few times but due to sharing a mother, she doesn’t even give her the time. She feels bitter that Gypsy was wanted by their mother unlike herself, especially since she has the desired crystalline affect that made herself stand out the most for not having in the Empire.

News on MLP FIM Nextgen Posts!

Wow it’s been hella minute since my last post lol

It’s been crazy getting ready for the holidays n shit so why not post something XD

I’m going to be using this scheduling feature on certain posts! As of right now it will be for my Mlp Fim nextgen!

Just as a warning tho, there are a LOT of kids! And it’s only canon-compliant to a certain season, then things get all wonky.

Specifically, the season 6 finale. Where the Changelings change their appearance. I completely disregard their appearance change and keep them how they originally looked. Then starting season 7-season 9 aren’t acknowledged as they happened after I already had a story going and didn’t want to change everything again.

I’ve decided to continue talking about my “Shadow’s Kid Army” shit cause I couldn’t fit all the drawings I had in the first post soooooo

Part 2!!!!

I’m gonna start of with the image that started it all

THIS ONE!!! ⬆️ ⬆️ ⬆️

As you can see, 4 of them didn’t have names. Them now being Lydia, Jules, Belle, and Rowan. Also Rowan’s base sketch looked like Yugi from Yugio! At least in my opinion so that was their place-holder name until I came up with a better one lol

You also finally get to see my design for Shadow! Him and his third eye. That whole canvas actually started with that Shadow drawing too! I just wanted to draw an angy Shadow for practice and it evolved into that whole thing.

Kirra also wasn’t a thing until maybe a week later?

Same goes for the little family tree thing I had made. She just didn’t exist yet, plus they had 9 kids at the time and didn’t think it would be right to add a 10th but she’s here now and they aren’t getting any more! (At least I hope…)

I just realized that Shadow has 7 kids that are biologically his… Wow he actually does have an army…

This is when I decided to add a 10th kid. My friend had given me the idea of Metal and Amy just walking in and asking him to make them a robot kid 😆 Just to continue their “army”! This is still one of my most favorite things I made that’s just fuckin random as hell.

Multiple drawings of just Metal Sonic, plus one where he realizes that Jules kinda looks like an organic version of him.

I really just wanted to practice expressions on him. Mostly cause of an unfinished comic where he just drowns due to a fish.

Not the best quality but I spent like 30 minutes looking for a better up to date version cause I’m too lazy to get out of bed and charge my iPad to get a screenshot so this will have to do!

The concept is-

The whole family is on a camping trip by a lake somewhere.

All the tens have been set up, most of the kids are chilling and doing there own thing. Shadow is taking Jules and Kirra to get fire wood n shit, Alis and Eric are chilling by the water, Maria is watching Sam fail at hiding something behind his back to Amy, Lydia is also chilling by the water somewhere, and Silver is already in the lake relaxing. Sol wasn’t there and was with his mom.

Sonic and Metal are chattin’. Just havin a conversation about whatever, but then Sonic asks Metal if he’d want to race across the Lake. Ya’know just being rivals n shit. Metal agrees and they get ready. In the background we see Amy chasing Sam.

They count down “3-2-1” and they’re off! Sonic running across the waters surface while Metal is just flying over.

Silver literally has no clue about what’s happening. He had actually fallen asleep for a minute and doesn’t know that he’s in their direct pathway. Sonic and Metal also don’t realize cause they’re too focused on beating the other.

As Sonic and Metal get closer, a few of the kids realize that Silver is gonna ran-over essentially. So Lydia is yelling at Silver to swim faster while Alis is trying to tell Sonic and Metal to stop. Which doesn’t happen and Silver ends up being splashed and pushed under the water. He loses he cool shades and is upset after they pass over him.

As Sonic and Metal get to the center of the lake, a fish ends up jumping out of the water. At a pretty bad time too cause it’s directly in Metal’s way and lined up with his engine.

(Now we’re at the parts that aren’t drawn)

The fish ends up inside Metal’s torso, causing him to abruptly stop. Since he can’t speak Sonic just keeps on going until he’s back on land.

At this point everyone has been looking at their race and has noticed that Metal is fucking drowning and the only one closest to him is Sonic. They start yelling and getting his attention. When Sonic realizes this he quickly makes his way to Metal(albeit kinda scared cause he’s in the water now and not just over it). But he manages to get Metal out and back to land where he isn’t responding.

At this point Sonic, Amy, Shadow, and a few of the kids are there trying to get him to boot back up to no avail. Realizing that he had taken on too much water Sonic decides to take him to Eggman to get him fixed immediately. The rest of the family decides to pack up their shit and try again another day while Sonic running Metal to Eggman.

Sonic busts through Eggman’s door and says something along the lines of

“Yo your son kinda fuckin drowned, don’t know how but you need to fix him otherwise Amy will be pissed byeeeee~” as he justs sets Metal down and runs out.

Then it would just cut to Eggman pulling a charred wet fish out of Metal and being hella confused

Now time to clear a few things up for those who may ask!

Metal Sonic is an honorary dad to all the kids, even Sol! They all call him their Metta-Dad which he had gotten emotional the first time it happened.

Amy is not married to Metal. I headcannon that since he’s a literal robot they can’t marry but are more than happy to be in a relationship.

Amy also isn’t married to Sonic and Silver! She still considers them her family.

They do all live together, they each had their own houses for their respective marriages beforehand but eventually got a bigger house together.

Although the kids aren’t all related to Shadow, it’s still called “Shadow’s Kid Army”! Mostly started when he was left alone with all of them and decided that taking them out was a good idea. Practically looked like he had small bodyguards around him.

Amy and Silver had practically shoved Sonic and Shadow out the door of Amy and Shadow’s house for their first date cause they were so awkward. Pining for each other so hard their spouses had to step in and create an excuse for all the kids at the time (Alis, Eric, Sol, and Jules) to have a sleepover just to have them both in the same room! Silver and Amy had a fun movie marathon night with the kids while Shadow and Sonic were hella confused with sudden dinner reservations lol 😂

I do consider Eggman to be Metal’s father (since he created him and has called him his son multiple times in the comics) Plus Belle gets to be an Aunt and I feel like she’d adore that

Eggman is done wanting to take over the planet and shit, now he’s just a grandfather to 10 fucking hedgehogs and has other priorities now 😆
