So, last poll asking which demigod should get their own ending, ended with Messmer winning! Of course, you don't have to align yourself with demigod in ER, so today, I made poll for NPCs- I choose some more interesting NPCs and you are choosing who should get their own ending! Sorry, if you don't see your favs- there isn't enough place for everyone/I missed them, maybe I'll do another poll if enough options show up under this post. Without further waiting-

Gideon is no-brainer, as he literally tries to stop you from taking the throne, he could easily have choice before his bossfight- either fight him or accept his idea, and choosing second option, he would either betray you to be Lord himself or simply everything would stay the same way. Millicent is part of Malenia and there was plan to make her new goddess, so imagine her actually becoming second Malenia, but this one would accept rot right away.

Rya was proposed as option under the last poll.

The rest are silly ideas, that could be for ending. Choose your own NPC for ending and tell me your propaganda, lol

Siblings berefit of grace

I'm still thinking about Tarnished and Hunter being siblings, so a little post about it! I was trying to write it like legend, but I don't think it sounds that epic! I'm gonna write much more about it.

Stupid post hour. I was thinking about possible Great One Hunter (Bloodborne) versus Promised Consort Radahn with Miquella (Elden Ring) and suddenly, an idea came to my mind. What if Tarnished and Hunter were siblings? Their elders people of Godfrey who decided to fuck the whole March thing and simply live somewhere and some generations later, both Tarnished and Hunter would be born. Hunter would venture to Yharnam to get cured from illness and Tarnished died from said illness, only to be brought back by grace? And then, Tarnished only gets to Lands Between on accident, while travelling to get their precious sibling from Yharnam? I'm writting dumb crackfic about Hunter and I thought it would be hilarious, if she would find out her older bro as a fucking ELDEN LORD. And Tarnished finding his little sister as a damn GREAT ONE. Hunter: Since WHEN you're married to blue doll?! Tarnished: And since WHEN you're a god?! The silliness that would come from this is something I think, I might explore, lmao.

I was watching JK Leeds video about cosplaying as Micolash and I noticed how both Mico and Gideon are this annoying, player-type boss that is scholar/smart type guy, but ultimately ends up as a joke (even if character is also cruel as all shit). I didn't finish yet Sekiro, DS1, DS3 and didn't even start DS2, so I don't know, if that type of boss shows up often (my brother took PS4 from me and all those games are too expensive for me now on PC, rip). So...

Personally, I think Gideon, because in the end, Micolash at least was able to achieve his actual goal (commune with Great Ones), even if he ended up as dead loser. Like, my man is so insane, you cannot say to him he's idiot, because he's too occupied with being simp for Kos. Gideon? This moron wants to fight person who literally beat literal Death, wtf he thinks, he's doing? But tell me your propaganda, lol.

If you could get one of these characters their own endings, which one it would be?

I'm writing some self-indulgent fic about Messmer and I imagined what would happen, if he would burn for our sake at Giants' Forge, like, would be similar to Melina thing or Frenzy thing? So, I started to think about others and I want to hear other people's thoughts and see, if people yearn more for twinks or muscle mommies.

So, I'm starting with just demigods, because it would be impossible to fit NPC's and some bosses I think could give interesting endings (like Ymir/Metyr or Placidusax/Bayle).

Also, didn't add Godwyn, because technically, he has his own ending already, but also isn't really sentient, like, that man is a whole mess. And Ranni already has her own special ending, so she can sit this one.

Please, write down why you choose specific demigod and what their ending would look like! I personally imagine Messmer's ending with him burning down himself Ranni style, to stop influence of serpent on himself and to allow Tarnished to go into Erdtree, maybe also giving us special mending-rune, rune which would burn so strong, it would block all Outer Gods influence from Lands Between, as it were misguided fingers and gods that made his mother's and his life nightmare, maybe he would do some ritualistic cleanse of his sins. So, madness in Elden Ring only affects player-type characters, which means you can only proc madness on Gideon, when it comes to main game bosses. Of course, it's usually not a big deal, since frenzied flame is still good damage source and there are plenty other things you can proc on bosses. I don't think, there's specific lore reason as to why bosses as such Malenia or even Morgott cannot be frenzied (probably being able to proc frenzy animation on such bosses would make fights easier). But I was thinking- what if Frenzied Flame could affect other bosses? I'm speculating now more in lore way than gameplay way. After all, Frenzy Flame is all about despair, pain and misery- we can see it with Edgar after Irina's death and with merchants. It's about wanting to end all the pain, about wanting to burn down everything, so you cannot be hurt any further. It plays on emotions, especially love and care, as such case was with Vyke. Thinking about it, UndeadHumor was onto something when he made sketch with Morgott and Frenzied Flame- some demigods could be greatly influenced by it. Or rather, a specific child of Marika. Messmer. Others could probably combat it to some degree- Morgott was sealing Three Fingers away with Mogh, so it's obvious they were resisting it (and Mogh was influenced already by many other things). Radahn, Ranni and Rykard all have/had strong wills and couldn't be easily swayed. Miquella could probably be swayed, but once losing his emotions, Frenzy Flame couldn't really use him and Malenia is also strong-willed character, resorting to help from Outer Gods only as last-ditched effort. Melina obviously knows about Frenzied Flame and despises it. But Messmer? This man is already knee-deep in pain. He's been mommy's good boy for centuries long, doing war for her and getting nothing in return. Being abbanoned, scorned child, not having any place in his mother's new, perfect world. Forced to hide his serpent nature, something he couldn't control. And losing it all, once he sees his mother truly left him and choose some Tarnished over him. Why wouldn't he want to burn it all? He even states embracing oblivion in his second phase. His flame is already known as flame without honor or grace. He already brought so much pain onto everybody, including himself, he lost people important to him, he knows, he has no future outside of his crusade, which in the end, didn't earn his mother's love or favor. I might be missing some lore details, as I'm still trying to tie main game stuff with DLC revelations, but I won't lie- Messmer using both his red flames and yellow flames the same way Midra did, would be cool as hell. And yes, I am big fan of Messmer and Midra, how could you tell?

Lies of P's DLC inspired by Bloodborne?

Okay, I need to ramble, because it was on my brain for a while now, but since it's almost a year after release of the Lies of P, I have to say something. So, we know, there will be Lies of P DLC and we saw it will have some connections to sea/ships (origin of Krat, it was mentioned, Krat originated as fishing hamlet). But, I was thinking, what if there was another DLC, but Bloodborne one? Like, a lot of people noticed that Bloodborne and Lies of P could potentially be in the same universe and Krat could exist in times similar to Bloodborne's (or at least, their existences would overlap, as Yharnam seems to be more gothic than victorian/modern than Krat) and both games have some pretty important puppet/doll. And here is my idea for DLC- Yharnam and Krat being not so far away from each other and researchers of Krat finding burnded down, abandoned Yharnam. Last time, anyone had any contact with Yharnam was like, 50-60 years ago. Any traces of Old Blood, Hunters or Great Ones wiped out, or at the very least, those traces which could lead to contact with such things. But, anyone who is fragile to energy from Ergo, will definitely feel that something is wrong in this town- and especially, that something is wrong with one, quite pretty doll found in an abandoned tower... Through Doll, I imagine our dear loser Simon Manus would enter dream of Great One, of our ascended Hunter- let's say, his ambitions to become god would be set and so, meeting actual deity would be like going to Disneyland for him, especially since our Hunter would be quite nice to him, after all, even as ascended creature, they lack contact with other humans and also they crave child, so guy with daddy issues is like perfect thing for them. Of course, Simon's ambition is too big and he disrespects/hurts/betrays Hunter in some way in his search for power and now, the cycle of violence continues-Hunter's Dream becomes Hunter's Nightmare and Simon keeps Hunter locked in that hellhole Arche Abby with Sophia. Hunter reaches to Sophia, since she is Listener and probably would be able to hear literal God calling for help in the room next to her and would ask P to also help Hunter as having God as friend would be quite useful (and because she's good person). Somewhere in between this, Doll is send to Geppetto, so he could give her sturdy frame, as Hunter would want their best friend/caretaker to see world outside Dream and Doll ends up on journey to try and understand herself, maybe becoming help to P in some way, like being summon or at least giving him some OP hunter's weapon (maybe he would get from her Burial Blade or Rakuyo). This is really simplistic look at my thoughts, there's a lot of details, but I need to study chemistry, so lol, I'll add some more on the topic later.
